But, to catch you all up if you don't know, we're currently moving to Florida to our new house! It makes me a little nervous, but I'm mostly excited for the change.
Since we're moving to a new place, and since the pandemic is going on, I've decided not to work in a Walmart this summer. Instead, I'll be doing my best to focus on my art and commission work like a job this summer!
I've wanted to try putting more focus into doing art, so I think this is a good time to take a chance and experiment ^^
Along with this, as a side note, because I'm doing this, I ended up opening up to my mom about my gayness and fat furriness, and she took things rather well x3

Well, since this will be my first batch of em, there's a lot I'm going to have figure out still. So, while I will have slots, the number of them may depend on how much commission requests I get. As well, since this will be a slow start to my commissioning (as once we get to Florida, we won't even move in to the house until a week or so later I believe), there is no first-come-first-serve. I will be picking out the ideas that interest me the most for now.

For now, I won't make you pay upfront. Once I confirm with you that I will be doing your commission, I will start work on it. Once I complete the piece, I'll contact you, and once I see you have paid me, I will then send you your art through email, Twitter, Discord, what platform you want.
If you get your piece, and there's something about it you want changed, feel free to bring it up with me! However, depending on what kind of change you want, it might cost you a bit extra. If the change is something that won't be too time-consuming, I'll do it for free. If it's something will take up a lot more of my time, I will charge a couple extra bucks, depending on how long things take. Please note though, while I'll try to make changes requested, I do have the right to deny some requests (for example, ones that would change up the majority of the original image).

UPDATES:
This journal is just a quick update thing to basically say I am still around, and that I'm sorry as always for not really getting anything out ^^;
Things have been weird all around thanks to COVID-19, us moving out of our house into my grandparents' place, all-online college transition, and my love of AC:NH. I want to make things, but it's been hard finding time or inspiration to do so >w<

This may end up being a weird journal where I try and cover a lot of things, but I'd appreciate it if you can end up reading as much as possible ^^

So, it's 2020 now! A new year, and a new decade! Pretty exciting and nerve-racking stuff, right? And while I wasn't an online artist for the whole decade, I have seen plenty of growth in my art over the past few years. I know there's the whole art summary thing many people do, but it honestly wasn't on my mind and I already have other things i need to get done (perhaps I'll try next year to do a year summary? We'll see I guess) ^^;
So if you wanna see my growth, just look through my gallery for a sec. I guarantee things look way better now than back then <xD

Now that I've gone over that, it's time to talk about some future-related things, and a more serious topic I've been holding back for a while. Regarding future art, here are the things I currently need to do: 500 Watchers image, and two commissions I've received (which are both bigger ones). Regarding future resolutions, I feel as a person that I NEED to break more out of my shell. I'm a part of this fat fur community, but part of me feels like I don't truly belong yet? After all, I'm not the most social, and there are still many furs I look up to that I'd like to get to know better. Hopefully I'll be able to push myself, but I'm still unsure, so we'll have to see I guess >w<
As well, just getting more art done (commissions especially!) and perhaps speeding up my process would be a good change for me, haha <:3
But making art can be fickle at times for all sorts of reasons, so it's hard to promise getting better. I'll try, though!

Now, I really need to be honest with myself... while I'm not depressed, or anything of the like, I don't think my mental health is the greatest when it comes to my art-life. I don't know if you all notice, but I never really talk much about my intense emotions/emotional times, and I hardly ever really vent. Because of this, it might seem that I'm just doing well personally, but honestly, a lot of the time I'm not. When it comes to my art, I feel very self-critical, to the point where most of the time, I wonder if my art is any good, or if I have any sort of style at all. When it comes to the community, I'm scared and jealous. I'm scared of the opinions of others, and while I take inspiration from artists I love, I honestly feel jealous a lot of the time, too. To me, I want to feel as popular as them, I want to feel like I have a style like them, I just want what they have, and to feel "popular." But this honestly hasn't been healthy, as it makes me judge myself even more, and realize just how socially ackward I can be, and it can make me feel not appreciated. And worst of all, when I feel like I need to vent, when my mind is clouded by judgements and doubt and hate, I want to try and express my feelings to others, but I just never can. My brain gets into a cycle, thinking about how to say something, and then worrying that what I'll say will just make me look selfish and terrible. And so I just bottle the feelings up, enduring them, and hardly ever sharing them. And I really just hate it. I hate feeling like I can't vent, that I can't say anything... and I want to change that. Honestly, bringing this up finally feels like its helping me a bit, but in the future, I'll try and share my inner feelings with you all more, if they ever come up. And I hope you all are willing to listen, cause doing just that will hopefully be able to put myself at ease bit by bit.

Sorry if that just came off as rambling, or if it didn't all make sense. I'm just trying to get my thought process down, so hopefully it wasn't too messy. But yeah, with the good and the bad of this year for me, I think I'm ready to move onto this next one. I'm hoping it will be quite a good year, and I imagine it will be! There's been a lot of growth to my FA account this year, and with me using Twitter now, I hope things can expand even more! I'll keep this short, but I have an announcement to make regarding the raffle!
Basically, since I took so long to announce anything regarding it, and because I think I've come up with a unique and simple way to do the image that goes along with a current interest of mine, there will no longer be a raffle to decide the winners.
SO... instead, I will include everyone who commented on my 500 Watcher image before this journal into the final group image (as well as those mystery special individuals I mentioned before)!
Now, especially because of this decision, the group image will still take a while to come out, and note, no one is getting full-body representation besides my character. Instead, for reasons I won't explain (secrets, amiright?), everyone will have a headshot of sorts, which honestly is just enough anyway without making things too complex for me.

Now, since I took a while to announce this, if anyone taking part wants me to draw a more updated version of them, please send me a new ref!! Otherwise, I'll most likely just be drawing your character from the original ref provided.

Update section: This is an update on life and stuff and other things. Well, as you might know, I've been in college for a while, and I've learned with my classes this semester that I have a bit less time to do things like video games and art. So sorry about the lack of art!
I've mentioned this in the recent image description, but I'm sorry about forgetting to roll the RNG on the 500 watchers raffle! I'll get to that when I am able to and remember >w<
Regarding commissions, because of my college work, I'll probably have a commission slot on deck to work on whenever I feel like it and am able to. So please be patient, for those who are interested in commissioning!

If I have the pic done, but you for some reason can't pay at the time, don't worry. I will hold onto the finished image until you are able to pay.
IMPORTANT: Since I draw traditionally and then digitally line the drawing, IF YOU ASK, I will send you a photo of the traditional sketch once it is complete, which you can ask for changes with. Otherwise, the final image will essentially be a surprise.

How long can you expect to wait?
As I've said before, it could be awhile before I finish your commission. While you can ask me about image progress, please do not spam me with messages about that. So, first off, I have to say: Bleh, I'm sorry, I should have made a journal sooner about stuff.

Basically, as you can tell by the title, I'm back in college! And again, I have no roomate (which is as nice as ever ^^), but I'm in a different hall than my previous two years (had to adjust a bit). The cool thing about that though is that I live next to my favorite on-campus buffet, so I changed my meal plan so i can have more daily swipes there :p
Going off of that though, I have to be honest, college, as always, has been effecting my drawing life. This semester, I'm going into a new major that's more focused on video game creation compared to my old one, and the classes I'm taking this semester feel like they'll eat up a lot of my time and artistic ability. This is because I'm doing things like taking a 3D modeling course, an intro to game development course where I have to make games in Gamemaker Studio 2, and an observational drawing class (which is around 2+ hours for two different days a week, and I'm not fully engaged by it xwx).
So far, as I have had to adjust to my classes, my drawing spirit to create fats has been pretty low. The only real drawing I've managed to do was some sketch art trades with my boyfriend (which I may post some if he's ok with it to fill my art void here).

Going along with that, since I'm busy, and my drawing spirit is low, what does that mean for commissions and etc.?
Honestly, I'm not really sure yet. I'm still planning on finishing current commissions (so sorry for the wait on them! I should have worked harder to get em done before college), but regarding commissions after that, I think I'll change my plans. I said before that I would try a First-Come-First-Serve method, but since I'm already low in my drawing motivation for fat FA related stuff, I need to draw things that I truly have an interest in at the time. So, when I next open commissions, I will personally pick out a commission from any of the ones I'm asked for. As well, I think I will only go with 1 commission slot at a time, so I don't have too much responsibility hanging over my head. And heads up, I decided I will be increasing my prices just a bit. It's nothing major, but I'm doing it because my test prices honestly felt a bit too low.

So firstly, I'd like to say: things are going even slower than even I expected, haha ^^;
I know I said I was gonna get a thing or two done for Shark Week, but as I was in the middle of working 6 days in a row, my mood was shifting from bad and good and between wanting to do different things, so I only made progress on doing the designs for Charles' children.
I'm still working on commissions piece by piecd, but thinking about it, it's highly possible that I might not get them done until after the 24th of this month, when I'll be back in college and more free to draw without work.
I've mentioned this before I believe, but after I get these first commissions done, I'll work on an image I can use to announce commissions, and I'll be trying a First-Come-First-Serve system, to see how it goes.
Otherwise, I will mention here briefly: I've hit 500+ watchers here! And wow, that's a crazy number to think about, haha <:3

I've started working on one, and while I'll continue to work on them, I'm gonna be working on some other art too over the next week or two. I just found out it's Shark Week, so I think I'll continue the Charles sequence, and I want to get a Bowser pic ready for August 4th, Bowser Day.
As well, I want to get a Commission announcement image ready for when I open Commissions. And heads up, when I open commissions again, the prices might be increased a little, and I want to attempt doing a First-Come-First-Serve system.
But yeah, that's basically it! Other than that, I have other personal images in the works, but I might save working on them for inbetween commission times.

So, I've just closed commissions, and have decided on which ones I'm going to be doing.
I'll be doing a commission for  Mrsomeone1234 and a commission for  COMICANDBLUE-FIRUKO.
Also, yes, I know in the journal that I said I was doing just one commission, but I decided to actually do two. One commission is for one of my watchers, Mrsomeone1234, while the other commission is a special case that I'm doing for my boyfriend, COMICANDBLUE-FIRUKO. He offered up getting a commission from me, and it would have felt wrong to me to deny him the chance to do that during my first comms opening uwu
But yeah, to those two, I'll do my best to get your commissions done in hopefully not too, too long of a time.
And if you asked for a commission and didn't get one, don't be discouraged! I'll make sure to open commissions again after the current ones, and make them more "official." You'll have another chance to ask eventually ^^

As I've said before, since I have a job now, I expected I'd definitely still be slow with art. I've been working on stuff, but because of my limited time on workdays and my desire to do other things such as playing video games, catching up on anime, and hanging out with my older bro, I'm not making too much progress on too many things.
Because of this though, I thought I'd detail some things here so you can know what things will possibly come from me in the future in regards to my art. So, here we go:

- First, lemme go over some priority art I'm gonna have to do. Firstly, you guys won't see it, but my Mom has asked for my help in designing her a logo for a blog she and my dad want to make. She wants me to get things done soonish, so doing that will slow down my art on FA for a bit.
Also, I'm participating a "secret santa" like event, so I have to draw a gift eah for 2 people before the 18th. So while I still have awhile, I'm going to have to put time into completing those.
- Otherwise, what about finished art? Well, I do have a few pieces finished, but I've been making excuses and holding myself back from posting them. I'll try and post them soon! One of the pieces is a fat pic of someone I just can't stop myself from drawing seemingly (you might say it's a crime that I'm posting him so much :p), and the other piece is the first part of a sequence that I think will take awhile to complete, but I really wanna do it (the sequence will feature a certain character of mine with a blue shirt, and his kids).
- What about WIP pieces? Well, I have plenty of completed sketches that I hope to eventually digitally line and color. One of these is a fatty pic for one of the new legendary pokemon, which will show which version of the game I'm personally gonna get.
Otherwise, there are (I believe) two pieces I'm currently digitally lining. One is the fat Clawhauser and Nick pic (which was one of the most voted pieces for that one journal I did), and the other (which I believe I mentioned before?) is a fat pic of Horkeukamui from Tokyo Afterschool Summoners (I probably won't get this one done too soon, but I do want to finish it eventually).
- What about pieces I may/will make in the future? Well, for starters, I'm reeeeeally getting into CTR Nitro Fueled, so I might want to eventually fatten up some of my favorite drivers (primarily Crunch right now and possibly the ol' Dingodile right now :p).
Also, I've been thinking about it lately for various good and bad reasons, but in the future, I want to make more original characters and do more with them and my current OCs. Cause I've noticed that, most often, while I make a ref for a character and dedicate time to writing their backgrounds and etc., I don't do too much with them after the fact. So yeah, I hope to do more original character driven art, starting with the sequence that I mentioned I'm working on above.
As well, I am still interested in the one Pokefat collab I'm a part of, so expect more entries in the future, eventually. While I won't say what my next pick for the collab was exactly, I will say I'm doing a Mega version of a pokemon ^^

Otherwise, as I've said before, I want to keep up doing journals, while not leaving to huge of a gap between them. While I might talk about random stuff in future journals, I might also try and do journals that will allow me to interact with you guys in simple, different ways. Dunno <:3

I won't be doing anything too big for my birthday (and I don't think I'll do a birthday pic, as I'm working on a few other things already right now), but I will be visiting my parents and little bro who are camping at the somewhat near campground (couldn't go with them full time since i have work this weekend), and we'll eat at the lodge there as well as hopefully do some mini-golf, heheh ^^
I think it'll be chill :3

I'll be starting Walmart Orientation on the 4th, and then getting into the job for the rest of the summer until my college return. The hours are very, um, late (4 AM to 1 PM xwx), and very different from my normal schedule, but considering I need/want some job experience, I couldn't really turn the offer down. Hopefully, things go smoothly with my work! Wish me luck ^^
Also, this, of course, means that art will most definitely come out slower (well, even slower than before c':). I'll still try and get stuff done, but between art, Youtube, and gaming, I'm really gonna have to weigh things and figure stuff out. I mean, I usually watch Youtube in the background while doing other things, but still, gaming is as important to me as art.

Speaking of gaming, I thought I'd bring up one of my pastimes: plenty of mobile gaming, haha. I've never really mentioned it on here, but there are a few mobile games I like to spend a lot of time with. I'll talk about them below!

So, I have a few mobile games nowadays that I like to spend a bit of time on. One of those is Disney Heroes: Battle Mode. I was on a bit of a hiatus from this game for a bit, but the recent one-year anniversary has got me back on my toes with it. However, with this game, I'm thinking of leaving my current guild, cause it's well, dead, haha. I'm not sure exactly how the guilds work in regards to all of the servers the game has, but since I imagine a guild has to have members from the same server/ group of servers (?), if anyone else in Server 10 or Servers 9-12 has an open guild that is a bit more active, I'd be good with joining it!

For any Pewdiepie fans, I dabble a bit in Pewdiepie's Tuber Simulator. If anyone wants to be friends, I'd be happy to be one with you in the game!

I've been seeing a bit of a rise in art for this game, so I'm glad I started playing about two months or so ago, but I've been playing a ton of Tokyo Afterschool Summoners! While my friend list is full right now, I can remove some inactive people to make room for any other furs who play the game ^^
And since I love the characters in this game, what are some of your favorite characters from it? What characters do you have? I'd be interested to know if anyone plays <:3

I thought I'd just mention it, but I did get into the beta test for the upcoming Mario Kart Tour mobile game! And the game has been pretty fun so far (it does have annoyances, but again, hopefully, things change with the official release). I would talk more in-depth about it, but since I imagine no one else who watches me has played it (for obvious reasons), I'll save you all some time <:3

Otherwise, I'm currently just dabbling in Kingdom Hearts Union Cross. This is because of all of these other mobile games, and because the game has drained me out over my time playing it. In the past, I was a day one player, staying up to play the game as soon as it came out (I'm actually one of the first 100 players to have gotten their account created for the game, more specifically, the 74th player, as evidenced by my 74 player id). And while I consistently played it for a loooong time, it's kinda lost its flare to me. I'm not giving it up, as I'm a big Kingdom Hearts fan, but I won't be playing it as much as I did months ago. Still, if you play, are with Ava, and have an open area in a party, I'll be up with leaving my current small one to join ^^

Also, just curious, was anyone else a big Brave Frontier fan back in the day? That game still holds a special place in my heart, especially because of the original Fairytail collab they had (Fairytail is my favorite anime, haha). Now, though, I've basically given the game up completely, which does make me sad. Oh well, though, I'll keep holding the memories in my heart.

I mean, I guess that's to be expected from me, but still, whenever I realize how long it's been during these times, I always just bleeeeeeeeeeeeeh. But oh well. At least to counter these periods of nothing, maybe I should try and put out more journals so I can chat with you guys. We'll see though!

But yeah, since it's been a bit, I can share some things about my general life and stuff. I think I mentioned before, but yes, I've been out of college for the summer for a bit now. I've been relaxing, helping with yard work here at home, playing video games like the new Hat in Time Nyakuza Metro DLC, catching up with animated TV shows like Ducktales and anime like Fairytail (ahhhhh the episodes I've seen so far are giving me serious feels qwq), and drawing things and coming up with characters for the future potentially.

Because of all of this stuff, my art has been kinda slow (what am I saying I'm always slow :,3). Also, I'm currently waiting on getting emails so I can get my first job at one of our local Walmarts. This boi is about to be a working boi, haha. I'm nervous a bit just because of the hours (4 AM to 1 PM, whoof), but overall the job just seem too bad. We'll see how it goes though.

Otherwise, I as mentioned before, I have been working on things. My current goal is to get my next entry for the GottaStuffEmAll collab done since it's been a while since my last Samurott entry. Otherwise, I have plenty of other things I can put work into, such as fats for good ol' Gregg, Vector the Crocodile (I'll apologize in advance for this one, I'll get it done, but it'll have terrible quality haha, I experimented with it and it's a failure in the sense of visual quality. You'll all see ^^;), Toffee, etc.

Digital work is kinda making me sweat right now though, since my Manga Studio 5 is again deciding to go through a period where it has lag spikes that make it a pain to work (while also making my work overall slower, yaaaay). I've never really been sure how to fix the problem, it just seems to pop-up whenever it wants (typically at my house for some reason). I'm not sure if anyone would have a fix for that or some recommendations, but they would be appreciated.

Lastly, I know some people have mixed opinions I think about the new Shinies, but overall, I kinda like them. I can now consider perhaps using them in the future for letting people commission me. Who knows? But either way, I've enabled them on my account just cause. I don't expect anybody to randomly give me any, but if someone wants to give any shinies, feel free to, it would mean a lot to me ^^

Otherwise, I've noticing lots of small changes around the site that I am liking. Loading up images to full size immediately is something I appreciate a lot, and plenty of the other subtle aesthetic changes are ok in my book. I do agree with some others that the site needs to go through greater changes, but considering they've already implemented some small ones is a good sign in my book.And just to be clear, I like Furaffinity, it's just I can recognize that some people are unhappy, and I can definitely see plenty of spaces where the site could benefit from some improvements. We'll just have to see what the team behind FA decides to do, though.

Whew, well this was a long journal. Felt good to get some things out and talk though. But anyway, that's it for this journal! I'm gonna get to work on some art soon, so feel free to comment whatever below, and I can come by and maybe strike up some friendly conversation ^^

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE COMMENTING OR NOTING

Alright, so I thought I'd just give a few general updates on thing n' stuff. Firstly... where are the commissions? Didn't I say weeks ago I would open them in a week or two? Well, I do want to do them, but... I still can't escape some of my nervousness about doing them. As well, being in college and doing work for classes, I'm not sure how motivated I'd be to do them over personal art (I'm also nervous college work would just make the commissions take too long). Maybe I'm just making excuses, but still, I don't think commissions will be opened until possibly Spring Break or Summer Break.

Speaking of Spring Break though, chances are commissions won't happen then. This is mainly because I believe I'm getting my four wisdom teeth pulled out then. Yeeeeeeah, ouch... I'll be out of sorts for a few days, so I probably won't want to have to deal with commissions then. I've had a tooth pulled out before, so I can kinda imagine what getting four removed at the same time will be like. Wish me luck with the pain and suffering (and possible nonsensical statements that will fly out of my mouth in my delirium)!

Now, most of you probably came here because I've said I'm accepting Requests in the title, BUT.. I put the "(?)" in the title as well for a reason. I am saying that you all are free to comment and note me any ideas for requests that you want. However, please keep in mind that I may not actually end up doing any requests. Most likely I will (especially since it's been 8-9 months since I've really made anything specific for any of you here on FA), but again, because I'm in college and because I may want to work on other things, I may end up doing no requests. As such, I won't be officially announcing any requests I may do. Any request I do will be a surprise. (I suppose a reason that I am opening requests now is simply because I want some potential inspiration for art. Also, it would feel nice again to be able to give back to you guys for your support <:3)

Now onto the expectations and rules for requests:
As these are free requests, most likely I will only do non-colored outlines for the images (I may not even sharpen the ends of lines), but then again, I may also color them. It just depends on what I'm feeling.
I will not take any NSFW requests. Basically, I will not draw male and female inappropriate parts.
Just because of personal preferences, it is highly unlikely that I will draw fat female characters. There is a first time for everything, though, so I dunno.
Technically you can ask as many request ideas as you want, but please do not bombard me with ideas in a single note or comment (control yourself when it comes to this).

Everyone's support is greatly appreciated, and I'm still just amazed that 350 people care a lot about my art <:3

But besides that... um, I wanted to ask everyone about commissions. More specifically, I want to know if anyone is interested in possibly commishing me...
As you all have noticed (and I think I brought this all up months ago?) I stopped and haven't done requests in forever. This was because my Dad told me that he wanted me to start and try to make some money with my art, and to stop making art for people for free. I agreed with him on this, as I am interested in starting to earn some money from my art, and so i decided to stop taking requests. And while I am still fine with that decision, as I've been able to work on a lot of personal art, you may have noticed that I never actually got to starting commissions. This is mainly because of personal doubts and my nervousness. I had planned out commission prices, and had an idea of how I would allow people to pay, but in the end, I could never work up the courage to do anything commission-wise. However, now that stuff is changing in my life a bit, I figure now would be a good time to at least try doing commissions.

While I have some stuff figured out, and other stuff that I still need to figure out regarding commissions, it may be a week or two or more until I start them up. So before I get around it, please, I want to know if anyone here would be interested in getting a commission from me. And if anyone is curious about the prices I have planned right now, I can bring that up if you want to know.
As well, if anyone has advice about doing commissions, I would love to hear that advice! It would be much appreciated >w<

While I believe I normally make a New Year related pic, I've decided that I'm not going to this year. This is mainly just because I have a lot of other sketches I could turn into full pics and other projects I need to finish and post! Plus I'm just having to much fun playing/watching games like Smash Ultimate, Starlink, Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and etc.! ^^;
