So... a LOT has happened in the last 9 months or so.

First, I'd like to apologize to anyone who was interested in my art during this time but I took a very long time to respond to.

Second, I have lost access to all of the original files for my entire gallery. I can no longer give you the color palette and full sized .png when you buy a character. As a result I have decided to make all auctions that have small file sizes uploaded free. There are still some that are large enough that I feel they're still worth full price and those I left alone.

So check out my free folder, there are a handful of things on there. Just know that if you claim them I'll confirm your claim but not send you anything, as you're free to download the file right off the page because that's the only version that still exists.

Art will be slow to non existent for a while. I'm just now getting my life back together after a major breakup and I don't even have photoshop anymore. But! I am sure that I will continue to create art for both personal reasons and to sell.

Name: Chitar (ch-i-tar) (plural- chitar)

Setting/Planet: Fantasy planet, generally Earth-like. Lots of deciduous forest, few bodies of water. Their range extends to both poles, with the densest populations just above the equator. They have tools but no electricity/etc. Their main source of power is magic, which is something they are born with an ability to control to varying degrees.

Major Factions/races: The Silvari (sil-var-ee), Keterai (ket-er-i as in I'm), and the Bosmani (boss-mon-ee). The Silvari are the largest faction, established longest and has a monarchy. Took most of their land by military force, overall neutral-good. They are the largest producers of foods and textiles because they own the most viable land. They tend to be stronger and slightly taller than other Chitar as well as darker but with typical stripes and coat lengths.

The Ketarai is the second largest, and has an established population at the north pole. Also a monarchy, they are generally on good terms with the Silvari. They tend to be more powerful at controlling magic and slender. They also tend to have longer coats/hair and thinner stripes.

The Bosmani are a rogue group of Chitari that are essentially anarchists. They can be any race, they tend to be outcast by the other countries, and tend to hold a grudge against the Silvari. Because they are mixed race they tend to have aberrant patterns and colors.

Currency: The universal currency is the Bael (bale), a small coin.

Magic: Magic is inherent in all Chitari and rarely are they born without it. It is typically elemental based but also has a basic teleknesis factor. It is mostly used for physical labor like metalworking, farming, and travel. However the Silvari have militarized many forms of magic. It is possible for a Chitar to be able to use several forms of magic (fire, earth, healing, etc.) but they typically only learn 1 or 2, unless they're particularly talented.

Social: They live in anything from large cities to small farming towns to solitary drifters. They are not tend to have large families (generally producing only 1 pup in their lives) but their familial bond is extremely strong and bloodlines are generally kept "pure" by controlled inbreeding.

Most Chitar develop a passion for a particular thing. Things like racing, fighting, gardening, sewing, etc. and they tend to develop that skill their whole lives. Not many Chitar become a "jack of all trades".

There is a class system similar to midieval class systems, with the King and Queen being at the top. Typically a family of nobles owns a section of land and taxes the citizens, who then pays the monarchs.

And I have this neat idea but I'm not sure if it's legal. I was thinking about doing adoptables that are based on Lush bath bombs! But since I would be using the Lush name and actually making money off of it, do you guys think that would even be legal? I guess I could message them and ask but I figured I would ask here first!

Hey all. Sorry I disappeared there for a while! Haven't been drawing much of anything lately. :(

But! I have been working as much as I can on something very special! :D

Starting Saturday, October 18th I will be holding a special 13 days of Halloween special! I will be uploading one adoptable per day until Halloween. All are Halloween themed in some way, with many different species. All are female.

They will having a starting bid of $10USD. The last character will be uploaded the day before Halloween, and she's really special (if I do say so myself) and the best of the bunch in my opinion. That's why I saved her for last! All of the auctions will end on Halloween, if they receive any bids So you'll have more time to bid on the first few than the last.

The last character actually includes a lot of extra art. Head shots, a ref, and miscellaneous sketches. I liked her so much I drew her a lot. >___>

1. Adoptable becomes yours only after I receive payment. If the adoptable is free, it's only yours once you show you have read the rules by putting the word "applesauce" in your comment. The first to comment with that word wins the character!

2. You may not resell the character. You can give them away but not sell them.

3. You can RP with them, give them a name, change their gender, and even their design a little bit but please don't change their design so drastically that it's no longer recognizable.

4. Once the character is yours, whether you buy it or it's free, you may repost the art anywhere you like so long as you either link back to the original submission or mention me by my username if asked who did the art.

5. You may only adopt 1 character per batch of FREE adoptables, unless otherwise specified. Just to keep things fair.

6 If payment is not received after 7 days after you winning the auction the character will go up for sale again. Sorry.

7. Bids must be placed as a response to my comment saying "BID HERE". No need to post "applesauce". The auctions will last 48 hours unless stated otherwise. Minimum bid increase is $1. Any bid made at the last few minutes before the ending time will extend the auction by 10 minutes until there are no more bids.
