Big Update! Brand/name change!
General | Posted 7 years ago Hey all!
J, here. After months of consideration, I am officially changing the brand of "Creature Feature Fabrication" to "Full Moon Special." Curently waiting on official documents in the mail, confirming this change.
Why? I've been dissatisfied with the name/brand image of CFF for several years, now. The legal/official name is bit lengthy and the shorthand "CFF Costumes" is more recognised, and for me, this shorthand title is even more problematic. I don't want to limit the range of my services to fursuits or just costumes. I feel pigeon-holed. (Pun intended?) I would like to expand to other crafts, under a brand/image that is cohesive and tangible.
I will be changing usernames for this account, and launching a new website, shortly. All posts for the foreseeable future will be tagged with both "CFFCostumes" and "Fullmoonspecial" and the old website will remain live for the time being, with a re-direct link to the new website. I intend to make this brand transformation gradually, with (hopefully) minimal confusion for those who come for CFF content.
Commissions are still closed, there is no date planned for re-opening. As of now. I've just completed my queue, and I'm taking the time to experiement and craft with my own vision in mind. I do plan to re-open with limited project slots at a later date, which will be announced through social media ahead of time.
Thank you to everyone who has supported CFF and I, wether through commission, following or kind words. The full moon has emerged, and I cannot wait to show you what I have planned.

Ahhh! An Update?
General | Posted 10 years ago
Hey all!
This is going to be rather short and breif, but I figured I should dust off this account a tad and allow some sort of insight into the past months of quietness/lack of activity and what's to come.
Long story short, I have been working on orders within the seven months since last posting here, and there are quite a few finished, unposted suits to display. I worked myself into a backlog of commission orders. I was eager and bit off more than I could chew, and as the months continued, more orders were accepted and it got out of control. To stop this, I closed commissions all those months ago, and pretty much stopped posting to here, cold turkey, to keep the flow of people interested in my work to dwindle and to allow me to focus as best as I can on my list without added distraction or tempting, amazing designs.
The remaining projects on my list are on this trello list below!
https://trello.com/b/rDSQOSgh/cff-queue
I would like to thank the people who have waited while I sort through this, and I understand and respect those who decided not to.
As far as a future opening? It will happen, Just not within the near future. I had projected June to be my date to re-open, but ultimately, I am honoring my initial plan and opening only after all projects have been finished/cleared, and will likely take some time, even after that, to regroup and focus on personal projects.
So, in short, I cannot even give an estimation for a future commission opening or quote intake. When I do, Whenever that may be, I will give a heads-up in advance here and on other social media outlets, for those who are interested. It would be small set of projects per opening. (Say, two or three)
Anywho, figured I'd take the time to write this out, I hope it answers some questions for those wondering on activity or commission openings?
If you have any further questions, please submit them below, that way I can answer them for anyone else who may have the same.
Thanks, everyone. Enjoy AC this weekend. Otherwise,- Enjoy the beginning of Summer. :)
Cheers,
