I am being told to draw more by a few buddies~ and its also one of my new years resolutions! So I am going to offer cheap character “Chibi-missions” again. I’ll be offering two price-points to test the waters here on FA.
B&W for $10 and Simple colored/no background for $20

General | Posted 13 years agoFrom all the FC’s I have attended this one seems like it came and went~ of course I had a great time seeing all my usual buddies and making new ones. I was able to get some doodles drawn during the con due to 
truce ‘s encouragement to draw in his books~ so one of my new years resolution is so far happening (which is to draw more… wish I could say the same for the “run a mile every day” goal)
My highlight during this con was being able to see one of my favorite Japanese artists~ not only meet but receive a gift from him! And buy his most recent work!!! Thank-you

General | Posted 14 years agoSo FC was a success! It was very simple and came by so fast. I personally still did not like this year’s theme (Hospitals are cold & depressing) but it was an enjoyable convention… so lets get started!
I attended this convention center back when I attended the local anime con a few years back. I was surprised the con staff did not use much of the space and instead put everything in the Marriott… my only complaint might just be the creators lounge because it was small, began smelling after a few hours, and it had no ventilation… BUT I did spend a few hours a day doodling with a few others. I learned that attending the con helps me defeat my art block and gives me the “WANT” to draw. I was able to draw a few quick doodles & for the first time… have other artists draw in my Sketchbook!

Grisser are a few who spoiled me with art.
I of course spent my time at the con with my usual group of buddies while taking the time to meet a few acquaintances such as
seth-iova & 
ragz . Con’s are about meeting new faces and people you don’t see often~ so I pushed myself to try and meet new friends. Most of them I met in the creators lounge or when walking the long ass convention center… shit, even the guy at pete’s coffee was a joy. PLUS my DS was always packed with new MII’s in my plaza!!!! I had to check it like every 7 minutes.
For food… I tried the Pita pit for the first time. I enjoyed it! The staff was really nice, They offered 10% discount, the food was good, & the chubby guy working the grill was adorable. The other food stops included Sushi, Philly Steak’s, & Snacks provided by dear friend Goliath
I only made one purchase at the con… but I regret not buying the Art of Bears book… I left on Monday early morning to go back to regular life~ but was able to spend an hour with Sdawg and Holcomb later that afternoon ( I miss you guys).
SO… I enjoyed this con (of course it lacked some
kahmari ) but it was a good con. Thank-you for everyone that made it fun! Cant wait to do it again.

General | Posted 14 years agoI just wanted to say thank-you for the people who have been watching and +Fav my art for a few years now… around five to six years total I guess. I do feel happy when my art gets a +fav or comment and I wish I could be as fast as other artists to produce more! As much as I love to draw I just have been busy with some life puzzles and a job that mostly takes all my creative juices away... especially with me being placed in two job locations. I will possibly post older artwork for the meantime and will hopefully get back in the art sessions as soon as I can!

General | Posted 15 years agoThis convention came and went by quickly; I have to say it was very enjoyable and I might be getting my first case of PCD ever. It was nice to walk the convention and meet up with friends- both new and old! And I can’t wait to do it again. It was fun to see 
& again! And I had a fantastic time with who made a visit from Canadia.
