I figured I could give a quick rundown on recent things since this journal:

Me and my partners move to Connecticut was successful and went without a hitch.
I didn't meet the goal of my fundraiser, but what I got went a very long way and I'm eternally thankful for everyone who sent me something! (it paid rest what we were missing for security deposit, u-haul rental and the moving in help we hired for a few hours)

Been in the new place for 3 weeks now, and there's still lot to adjust to and I'm trying to settle into new routines etc etc.
My work output has admittedly been much slower, I think it's 50% trying to adjust to all these new things and 50% of just...feeling the weight of -everything- that has been happening to me and that kinda throwing me off.
I was in survival mode for months and now that is gone and I can relax...lot of the bottled up feelings are also crashing down on me.

Right now... I'm feeling lot of the deep dark depths of what kind of shit I've been put through.
When you've given literally everything you have to someone, moved countries for them, and it's not worth even a little bit of honesty or respect, and instead you're strung along for YEARS, it's very hard not to feel extremely spent and bitter. I feel like I've lost almost everything, not really knowing anymore where I belong or where I should go. I have hard time not thinking I've completely ruined my life and wasted nearly a decade of my life on someone who ended up not be deserving a second of my time.

(on the other hand.. I've lost a fried of over 15 years - as much I don't want to, I still miss the companionship. But I've been given no choice but to move on)

I know these negative thoughts are not quite like that.. something new can be build, and it's not all wasted time.
My current environment is much more healthier and relaxing one than what I've dealt with the past year...or even years.
I think in time, as I process and work on myself, I'll be much more happier and more realized as a person in lots of ways.
One thing I never lost was my dignity. I've started to also grow a spine, and working on leaving my doormat behavior behind.

But yeah, I'm in a much better place now, and I'm trying hard to concentrate on positives. I'm still going to therapy and all that. I've been more active too, going on daily walks with my partner etc etc.
I'm hopeful about things. I feel safe.

So quick rundown of my life as of late, I've been talking about it a few times, but here it is again briefly

I immigrated from Finland to US 8 years ago to be with my now ex-wife. I have a legal status here and it's not dependent on my ex (no, I'm not afraid to be here, please don't worry about me in that sense).

Last July me and my ex moved cross country from Missouri to Rhode Island to pursue a better life etc.
Things instantly went to shit, and few months after the move I discovered I had been cheated on for the past 3-4 years.
There was no coming back from it and we broke up, divorce to follow later this year.
It's been an amicable enough split, but things got to a point where it's no longer good for my mental health to live with my ex; the humiliation and hurt is too much.

We did agree on polyamory for the last year of the relationship, and I've been dating someone additional since. My partner agreed to try out living together. They're also Going Through It on their own end. This will be a big new start for both of us.
We needed to get a vehicle in the midst of all of this; the car has been funded and 100% paid for now, thanks to all the people commissioning the thigh up pieces the past month, can't thank you enough!

My earliest exit is on April when partner's lease is ending. We weren't expecting this to happen so fast, but we suddenly secured our new apartment just this week, and can move in toward the end of March.

Now, things are getting tight financially and this is the point of this journal.
I'm reaching out for some community help, anything at all will go far right now.

So, we are up for the expected security deposit and first and last month rent. Then there's the move itself, it's not a long distance move, about 2hours from RI to Connecticut. We need to rent an uhaul + hire some help to haul everything to the truck from two different locations and then to the new apartment.

I'm personally also going to be up for double rent for 2 months for the place I'm leaving from ($950/month) + some lingering utilities for the end of march (can't tell the amount for sure yet, but gas sure is pricy so $200 up to $400?). And this is mainly the part where I need the additional help with - I am willing to do lot of extra work to help fund the move things, but unsure if I can get enough to fund ALSO the additional rent - while also preparing to start paying normal costs for the new place.
And this is also of course all happening during tax season - which I cannot pay for in full as things are right now.

We are both also in debt from our respective previous moves (partner also had a long distance move within the last year). And having to purchase the vehicle suddenly has also set us back a bit (aka haven't been able to save as much toward the move)

But yeah, rounding back to; anything at all will go a long way. And be on the lookout for the additional work I'm gonna be offering. First of all I want to say, please do not fear monger or leave unsolicited opinions or advice what comes to my status as an immigrant in US, or ask me why I came here and why I'm not going back. It is a very nuanced answer and really none of your business? I have my reasons. And even if I went back, it is not that easy to wrap up a whole life just like that? I have been here for 8 years. I have many loose ends I need to tie; I need time whatever I decide to do, and the first step I need to take RIGHT NOW, is to move within this country to better social circumstances. It's what I need to do in order to have the time.

I am very aware of my circumstances, all of us immigrants are. We all also have lives here, people we love, families, jobs, pets etc etc etc, please keep that in mind.
My life is also already in enough turmoil that I really do not need the negativity or the panic put right in front of me. Please don't. I am PAINFULLY aware of things. I'm here with a 10 year greencard, I'm white, I'm ok, my GC will outlive the current presidency, I can apply for citizenship -at any time-. Please look out for the people they are actually targeting!
I will hide and ignore further comments over the immigration aspect.



The topic at hand is, I need to fund this move with my partner, I need to buy a car with my partner. I'm also up for double rent for a few months, possibly, all this is within a tax season.

I have been doing extra commissions to help fund these things, and I have the car money secured, thanks to everyone who has been hopping on to the thigh up commissions I've been offering.

I might need more help through fundraising, more on that later, I'm trying to come up with what I need through work first. And this is what I'm trying to gather opinions/thoughts on:
If I were to bring back the 'song sketches' (examples below) would you be interested?
Would you be okay to be in a big (20 up to/max 30 slots) pool of customers?
I desperately need to just fund these life things, and I would be asking payment up front.
I'm able to still finish everything alongside my 'normal' commission queue within 2-3 months max 4.
I can keep everything very transparent and honest with public queues etc. I have a good track record on finishing my commissions in extremely timely fashion - this is the first and hopefully only time I need this kind of help. I'm in a bind. I just need to hear opinions ON THIS subject only.
I need to come up with thousands of extra money from *somewhere* in less than two months.

Here's some examples on the 'song sketches' I did few years ago, I priced them $150 back then, looking at $160 this time to cover pp fees. Idea of these was, customer gave me a character ref and a song to accompany it along with few keywords, I would create a piece over this.
