At the moment I am under enormous pressure, stress, and have been dealing with panic attacks due to the overwhelming amount of weight that has been put on me and my living situation due to the recent Coronavirus quarantine issued in my state which has forced many out of work and business, and which has left my other source of income for rent completely gone, leaving me with nothing to work with but commissions to avoid homelessness.

I only put off pursuing commissions as long as I could because I wanted to get as much of my commission backlog done as possible, but now my back is against the wall, and I have little choice but to make the best of the situation, and hope all of you still waiting for commissions will forgive my previous incompetence in this regard.

The amount of time many of you have been waiting inexcusable, and I have no funds to send out refunds at this moment, though my intention is still to finish every commission I have left as soon as possible. These commissions will give me the breathing room I need, especially with the extra time I now have, to get much of my backlog and the current commissions done.

Just a quick update for those of you still waiting on commissions. I'm currently going through one of the most difficult and stressful periods of my life at the moment for both mental and physical health-related reasons, and while I keep hoping for my health to improve, just about every aspect of my life has been put on hold because of my situation over the past few months.

I have been giving my commission queue priority regardless and doing whatever I can to get through it while dealing with my circumstances, and progress is being made. I want to keep supporting myself with commissions and get everything back on track, and I plan on taking more commissions this month as I send off the finished batches.

This kind of degradation of my health was a long time coming due to my condition, and while I held it off for a very long time, it was inevitable that I was going to deal with some serious problems at some point one way or another. I suppose I was hoping it would be a quick and straightforward process but sometimes health just isn't that simple.

I greatly appreciate the patience and understanding of everyone still waiting on their commissions and I apologize for the lack of updates. This has not been an easy few months for me to say the least, but I have not forgotten my commissions and I'm working hard to finally get my affairs in order. As I get commissions done I'll be sending them out in big batches, which should happen this month, with one batch already close to being finished.

As a general update on commissions, I will probably be doing at least one batch of commissions every month for the foreseeable future, though what type of commissions will vary depending on my mood.

Any little bit helps, since about 90% of my money made now is going to shared rent, food, utilities, ect. and anything to take the pressure off is hugely appreciated. I don't mind taking commissions, and I often enjoy challenging myself with other people's characters and ideas I wouldn't normally draw, but I don't want that to be all I work on going forward.

I care about my art more than anything else. It is my whole life, and I realized over these last few years that I can't survive without it. I want more time for my own projects, concepts, ideas, ect. I have so much I want to create, so much I'd love to do, but basic survival comes first, and in my position, commissions are the best way for me to make money. At least then I can make a decent living doing something I enjoy.

If you like my work and you want to support my art further, so hopefully I can get to posting some of my own work more frequently, then throwing a little bit my way actually does help. Any extra money I make goes into savings, and not having it all be drained by necessities would actually give me less reliance on commissions, and more time to pursue my own ideas.

Can feature up to three characters, and the extra characters are $50 each, with additional costs if the characters are complex in design. I'm okay with illustrating pretty much anything. Just ask if you're not sure.

By "experimental" I mean the aesthetic qualities, style, composition, and general feel of the piece will be left up my preferences and artistic liberties for the most part, and may have some surreal or decorative elements, which is all melded with the commissioner's characters and description of the scene. I don't have actual examples of the aesthetic qualities themselves since they will vary wildly with whatever I feel fits the characters and scene, and they're mainly something I'm playing with in my recent art, which has yet to be released.

The price is lower than I would normally set for full paintings (which are a great deal of work) because these are more experimental in nature, and thus, less predictable in terms of what you're getting in the end, and I will be using a wider range of artistic liberties, though without making major changes to the base character designs and scene. The overall quality will be fully rendered regardless of what I decide to make of it.

You will be given two progress updates on the commission: At the rough stage and around the halfway stage, and you can request minor changes and edits each time.

Payment is via Paypal, and preferred upfront, however I will allow a "half now, half later" plan for these, where you can pay half the cost initially, and pay the other half following the halfway stage progress update on the commission, after which I'll complete the commission entirely.

These commissions are planned to be finished before the end of November.

Since I'm only taking two slots at the moment, I'm using a raffle system to give everyone who wants one a fair chance.
