taking a step back from blown out of proportion and letting it do what I hope it does (will influence how it goes basically)

so I'm gonna start up a chapter of another comic cause it was something I promised and after some news felt I should do it now rather than not

So yea after I do a page to fix a minor error I will be mid way through three comics that I should probably do

But which one should I focus on?

I mean night-bat trish and deandra were left pancaked in that elevator (its gonna be easily resolved) need to continue her story and give strix her proper introduction

Saints and sinners needs to be shaded as when I was doing it someone decided to be an asshole about it to me which put me back into depression leaving it unfinished for months

Then you got blown out of promotion that has view counters for each girl (which is being calculated) so stuff you guys do (or dont do) will effect the outcome of the comic (and if lucia will even be nabbed)

seriously I got no idea what to do, it feels like whatever I start I lose the motivation or dont have an idea for it

tried to think maybe an expression sheet "maybe I need expression work with my characters but which character should I do it with?" then I was like "maybe I should let people vote on that" but then I was like "whats the point people will vote for the character I've drawn hundreds of times over the other characters so it would get boring fast"

then I was like "what if I draw something like what another artist does" but then I was like "but then I'm back to the what do I do phase of the art"

then I'm like "Oh I'll ask other artists what they think" then I was like "damn they just replied with idk"

then I was like "what if I draw hazbin art again" then I was like "huh I'm out of ideas for other stuff I got no chance with that" then I was like "wait I got a impsona maybe something with her" then I was like "im out of ideas for everything else so I dunno what to do"

so yea I am just drawing a blank and no idea why

im gonna do the comic page I need to do for blown out of promotion that was supposed to just change what I did and while I do that I'm gonna try and come up with something to do for mirage

however if I cant think of anything good that sticks out to me then I may have to pass on it, I don't know whats going on she's a well designed character and I'm like "I got nothing"

and I got no idea what to do with her I am just out of ideas

well after that poll the next thing I'll be drawing that isnt a commission will be Mirage but as what I do not know

the next thing I will be drawing is a commission as one of the commissioners got back in touch (and also jumped the queue cause the person ahead of them still hasn't replied) so I'll be doing that

then what after the commission and mirage pic? well depending on how I feel maybe back to Blown out of promotion (tho after my dun goofed moment I should maybe address that first) or if mirage is any good I do another poll with the remaining cat girls and throw in kitty katswell to fill in the empty slot mirage now left vacant after winning her poll

Well 3 pages of blown out of promotion have been drawn and shaded just waiting on confirmation of them being ok to post (not my characters I gotta check)

Commissions? Yea im still open the people that asked went quiet tho so I dunno what’s happening there so this is the warning shot journal, if I dont hear back in say a week after posting this journal then I’ll move on to whoever asks first

What to do in the meantime? main goal is to get into the inflation of Delilah and Samantha and how XD

So because of how the current com is going for me I will have to rethink how I do commissions as the time spent on it has been a factor in why I will be making these changes

first thing I need to do it change the limit on characters drawn and if its going to go over the limit I will need to start charging for additional characters

second thing is comic coms, I don't do comic commissions and whenever I open for commissions everyone just unloads their idea and I go "this sounds like a comic" and they sound shocked when I say I don't do them (I mean people were thinking they were getting a comic commission for $50) so if it comes to a comic commission I have to decline because right now if I was to do a short comic thats what $200+ for something I won't be confident in doing because comics are not a pleasant experience

sadly the com I'm doing was bigger than I anticipated mixed in with alot of family stuff (if anyone knows me well enough they know mid January to mid Febuary I got 10 family birthdays to attend and they are close family not cousins or uncles and aunties literally "mother, step-dad, sisters, sisters kids and my sisters husbands" its annoying as fuck and it really cuts into art time when I work most of the week, free time being the weekends and when my family has parties its not "oh turn up at lunch time we'll cut the cake have a few laughs and leave" its more like "turn up at lunch time, leave the car at home and pre-order a taxi cause your not leaving till midnight at the latest 10pm at the earliest" and the kids parties are slightly different they are about that long but instead of it being "turn up at lunch and we'll cut the cake" it's "we're going to a place and we're staying there for god knows how long"

so if I am doing a com for you right now, sorry you got a lot of family to contend with (you just contended with me being away because of my sisters pantomine show last week so you already know)
if I am yet to get to your com by the time I'm done you might have changed your mind so sorry about that (this is why I dont take payments until im ready to draw XD)

right so I don't do comic commissions I only do singular image commissions so if you are going to commission me at least ask first don't build a commission idea for a comic because I can't do it and I don't want to disappoint anyone and have them forcibly change their commission into a singular image, also keep in mind I did say I was going to take a small break from the blown out of promotion comic so if you've told me in the past you can't wait to see me continue it but then commission me something that could take months to do then you are not going to see it continued for a very long time.

Commissions I have accept so far has put me back longer than I was hoping and I will honor the ones I have accepted so far but please stop asking for comics I literally cannot invest in comics all the time in fact my small break was because I wanted to take a break from the comic format DX

so it appears I went over 1700, I did say when I hit 1750 I'd do a marble race to give winners some art for winning so something like a sketch and a full pic sort of deal depending on positions (you guys know the deals with the marble races)

Well after I finish these coms I'm gonna go back and finish off the cowboy pages I didnt shade (the comics still not finished but I need to shade the ones that are already sketched)
Then I go back to Blown out of Promotion since people seem to enjoy how thats going so far

So I have made two pages that I kind of want to get checked by the owner of the characters before I use it but also I want to make one more page to at least explain the Contract thing and the "misunderstanding" that is in the comic

Yup no inflation not even any dialogue, this was all made to set up how they end up at ACME Cylinders XD couldn't just have them go there when they already work for Playbat and Hooties

so if your mad there isnt any inflation yet... I really wanted to make them look like a hero and villain first ok DX

So I got the intro sort of done first 5-6 pages is before getting to ACME Cylinders
Pages 1-5 is done and it's to show what Delilah and Savannah are like being heroes and villains so thats good (it's also a recreation of something so anyone thats seen it should know what it is)
Page 6 isnt done but this page is to show how they end up at ACME Cylinders
Page 7 onwards will then be ACME Cylinders stuff

Yes I want to do a Blown out of Promotion thing with my heroes and villains but I've talked a lot about Delilah and Samantha doing hero and villain things but never shown it so the first 5 pages are going to be experimental showing a hero villain moment with them while also being a homage/recreation of a hero intro if you know it is you'll know what it is but if you don't know (or don't care) the getting to the set up will be after the 5th page

How much have I planned? honestly not a lot I got the intro and the reason they end up at acme cylinders but I should really plan out the afterwards bit

I have left but something importants came up and I need to take part in it so heres the rules for commissions

Commissions will be the same price as they always are with me but you won't be paying me

I am only opening for commissions to help out a friend and they are open for commissions to but I don't feel like its fair they should take on all this extra work if it was something essential for them. I am remaining vague as I don't think they've spoke into details about what was going on but I want to help out and lacking money myself I can't help them financially so this is the best I can do

so yea I'd say check your GBP price exchange but it's actually fine since your paying this time in $ so
