With this, I couldn't help but notice that some pieces I have posted are getting a little less love than others.

Bare in mind this is no problem! I make what I love and that makes me happy =3

Its been a productive year, and for some quite a rocky one. Including me.

regardless of what has happened, the new year promises new beginnings! =D

As of my past couple uploads, they all sport the tag (REQ) as used per requests I have fulfilled by other artists.

I understand this could stand to insinuate that I am open for said requests, but let me assure others I am not! The tag is in place to properly separate content conceived between me and another artist/requester, vs personal works I more regularly upload. Used among (TRD) for trade, (COM) for Commission, and (GFT) for gift. Personal works lacking any such tag.

[Backstory to the issue]

These Requests mentioned, were requested over a year ago during a poorly executed "Christmas request event", the disaster being my over-assumption of my abilities to churn out such a large number of requests at the time, given real-world events, mental state, and other factors that limited my ability to fulfill what was promised.

To this its taken over a year for me to get these done and posted, having dragged myself into a state in which I can competently make these requests. While not as severe or serious as say a commission taking a year to fulfill, I like taking my promises seriously, something I've not done well in the past but aim to rectify.


So to conclude, while I am posting requests, I do not/am not actively taking requests at this time, and will not until further stated.

I have not had any issue regarding this with any of you, notes regarding requests has been coming form exterior sources and individuals who arent watching me at this point in time, this journal serving more for those visiting my page, purely for requests.

YES! I am finally back!

I know me being gone for three weeks isnt much of a dent in my past uploading schedule >3>;


But this I aim to fix! As the title states

This change of scenery and fresh feeling has me eager to make some good changes =3

As for the move, its a process! We're technically "Moved" but in a house twice the size of our old one with furniture of said old house barley sprinkling the corners of this massive place. So theres gonna be more "moving in" to come it seems XD

As well theres boxes, lots and lots of boxes x.x;

As ot be expected, but it feels so good ti finally be rooted once more x3



Now as for plans, I have nothing concrete with dates but I do aim to push out a comic by early January, but before that- I WILL finish the Christmas requests... from LAST year >3>;

If imma be making any new-years resolutions this year it'll be to not take a f***ing year to draw a bloody picture for someone >.<;



Other than that, things arent calming down for me JUST yet, Christmas is just around the corner and im very ill-prepared x.x;

Im very excited for the new year all the same, lots of plans and the alike =3

Ill spare everyone the wall of text explaining the legal hoops and financial stuff and things and just get to the point,

Due to complications with the sellers of the new house my family will be moving into and the close of sale on our old house, I will be "technically" homeless for about three weeks...

As per contract we must be out of the old place by the 21st of November, but the sellers of the new house demanded they stay til the maximum contracted period, which is the 14th of December.

So what this means is Im not going to be online for almost a month till the new place is turned over to us, once that happens however I will post a journal updating the situation ^u^



Now I say "technically" homeless as I will be staying with family, however the house is small, and due to pulling the short straw Ill be sleeping in my car >.>;;;

But I dont intend to make you all worry about little ol me, Ill be fine! And back to posting lewds as soon as im settled back in =3

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the holidays!

As you may have noticed ive been posting less and less art over the years, but I want to assure everyone that this is only temporary.

MORE art is coming, big projects, comics, and commissions! As of this point in time however I am undergoing a massive transition in my life. Preparing to move out of my childhood home late this November, every day is a mad scramble of packing, working, or stressing about the two x-x

Work, of course.... as those who've worked retail before will know is growing VERY clustered and crazy leading into Black Friday and the holiday season, which isn't helping the already chaotic nature of these past few weeks.

But as 2019 rolls in Im predicting a good resurgence into my artistic habits of the past! Ill be drawing more, posting more, and developing my comics finally!



But all I ask is for the remainder of this year to be patient with me, as a lot of you have been very patient already. (Especially those who requested art last year, still going to get it done x-x; )

Hello all!

As per most of my recent journals I will apologize dearly for the lack of art as of late, many many things going on irl x-x;


But for the core of this journal I need your help!

Im trying to come up with great designs for armor wearable for a digigrade character, specifically for the hind legs!



My current designs have me sold on armor plating that can be strapped to the hindpaws/lower and upper shins, and the thighs. But I'd like some form of protective footwear that protects the paws, ankles, shins, and pads, like a digigrade boot! But I cant for the life of me find good examples or sell myself on a template that wouldn't look ridiculous!

So if any of you have designs or know of any examples of good digigrade shoes/footware then please let me know! Ive got some fun comics coming up that require these details.


As for some updates about me:

Recently had my car vandalized, some jerk let all the air out of my tire overnight, specifically the front left- THANKFULLY i had to pay nothing out of pocket to get the tire checked and refilled, but this whole ordeal has left me pretty stressed out and behind on many of my projects x-x;

But other than that, with work and finances ive neither improved since the last journals, nor have things gotten any worse! So one could say things arent too horrible considering!

Now with art, I'm still battling a massive art block and anxiety revolving around the still frozen Christmas requests form last year, try and try as I might I cant get things on paper how I may like, considering effort and quality ive done on previous requests I dont feel comfortable giving anything less to those who remain....

Due to recent events I am forced to take a break from art and from FA.

As if it hasn't already seemed like Ive taken a break already...


Due to recent events, stress, anxiety and depression knocking at my door, doing art has become a near impossibility, a chore.
And has been contributing to a lot of my stress, so as of this point to an unknown time I will no longer be posting art until further notice.

I apologize from the bottom of my heart fro this inconvenience but I hope you all can understand.


I can still be contacted on my discord and telegram, but FA for now will become a ghost to me.

So please no requests for art, no RP requests until further notice.

At least until I get my mental health back into order.



I want to stress that you guys are NOT the cause for any of this, its all be from events and elements outside of my cyber world here.

Hello guys!

I hope you are all having a wonderful end of your week! =D


A quick update as to whats been going on with me this past month, some exciting! Some terrifying

BUT DONT WORRY! All is fine!!

To get the bad out of the way, I've had my very first car accident! (If you can even call it that)
Long story short, it was raining at like, 90 degrees out and I had no flipping clue how my defogger worked. Unable to see the road I clipped a curb with my tire. Thankfully I wasnt going fast so there was no damage to me or the vehicle! Or the curb... The curb was okay too.

Just rattled nerves XP

As for the good, I've scored myself a shiny new Samsung Gear S3! Im in love with the thing and its prooved so flipping usefull to me, far worth every penny ;w;




Now when it comes to art:

Due to the demands of my job and other tasks irl, drawing has become a chore. At least it has with my current system. So starting as of my most resent post I will be uploading once a week! At least until I grow comfortable enough to increase this rate, but for now that is where it will stand to hopefully lift some stress off of me.

Few updates while I've gotten the floor-

Major apologies for the silence about the now ancient Christmas requests, they are still going to be done, due to a recent rough patch i've hit irl things have come to a grinding halt for me....

But im hoping things will start going on the up and up sooner rather than later so I can get back to drawing those pics. Untill then all I ask is that everyone just remains patient for a little while longer-


You all have been sp patient with me thus far and I cant thank you all enough for now hounding me into the ground by this point x-x

Thats right! ANOTHER character XD

Due to recent events which I will not disclose, my friend  Bantamcrow put his former character up for sale, so I nabbed him once the opening was given!


Due also to request his name will be changed, and character as a whole, but design will remain mostly the same for the bird!

In the following weeks i'll post sketches and imagery depicting this newcomer ot the crew, in hopes you will all enjoy the addition =D

Took a trip to mah neighborhood mall today to grab some things for my car- li'll nick knacks and all that-


When passing this one kiosk a stranger came up to me! And VERY PERSISTENTLY insists I put this bizarre substance into my paw!

Now me- being the fluffy little squeak that I am, and in my infinite wisdom comply and hold out my hand! Before I could react he just slaps this exfoliating scrub into my palm XD

Practically drags me back to his kiosk to the little sink they had set up, this guy was talking faster than an auctioneer BTW- couldn't get a fucking word in edge-wise XD



Above that, I was pretty much land locked at his kiosk because of the scrub in my paws, leaving me at a propped up bowl with no water other than what he was supplying me with- so in a way, I WAS A FUCKING CAPTIVE!!!!!

By the end of this dude's speech on how AMAZING this product is he handed me a bag, dropped said scrub into it with some cream that made me smell like a perfume shop, even pulled the old classic of dropping in a second item "for free" and showing me the price XD


Finally able to speak I got the hell out of there!!!!



Looking on the bright side, my paws have never been so smooth @u@




So take it from me guys- NEVER go to a mall without a rape whistle, and walk like your ass is on fire less you wanna get yanked into some salesman's pitch XD

Today is mah birthday! =D

And foxie turns 22 this year!





As for updates, theres not many but heres what has been going on!

Depression has been hitting hard for details I will not go into so art has been very slow and Ive owed a lot of folks an apology for the delays stacking on their requests commissions and trades x-x


As of this point in time I still have a few projects planned and hope to get some work in on them!

As for IRL: minus the birthday today I am going to be taking some driving lessons to hopefully get my license finally! Im both excited and nervous as all hell x-x

I am okay and am doing pretty fine as is, just so everyone knows!

But long story short- I experienced my first tumble off of a scooter!

Nothing is broken, just a swollen knee and sprained wrist, which of course means i cant draw for a while >~>;



But it could have been worse! So im counting myself lucky!!!

But as of this journal Ive been making a swift recovery!

As with this I've been unable to work on art and have a plethora of unfinished projects to wrap up, so i'm going to be busy these next few weeks!!!

Trust me, its awful x-x;

I've been doing inquiries revolving my fluffable incubus Edge! And his abilities and just him as an overall character!

As for his appearance, He's taken the true form of a fluffy brown furred fox with brown bat-like wings and black horns on his head! Basic demonic attributes and whatnot.

Now my question for you all is, should I take this a step further? Using his demonology as a platform I've thought about (aided by interest from others as well) Edge being able to take on the form of a serpent!

Long, furry snake with his fur patterns, horns, and maybe even his wings! All "wrapped up" in a serpent body capable of coiling squeezing and hugging the living f*squeak*k out of anyone he can catch =3

I know in the end the decision is my own but I'd love to know what you guys would think!

Would this be a welcome addition to our fuzzy little demon? Or would this be more a a bizarre/unwarranted turn?

Hello everyone!!!

After a rocky start to 2018 I've had to put a temporary pause on the requests!

I promise they will be done and soon as Ive finally got things back into order in my little neck of the woods /)O-O(\


I wont give personal details but with financial issues and some family strife's, my attention has been otherwise sapped from FA and art this past month, but Im back on track and am ready to draw!

The completion of two FAR overdue trades will take priority but once those are completed I'll be fulfilling those requests in the order received in the Christmas journal all that time ago!


I do sincerely apologize for the wait but I hope the wait will be worth it for everybody!



Postings will not begin for about a week but as of this journal being posted, the drawing will indeed begin!

This has been a long time coming but I've finally broken down and gotten this done!

New icon, fursona, and a much needed expansion!!!!


Now as spooky as this may sound nothing too drastic is going to change.

Changes to occur (At least here) are as follows!

1. New icon
2. Older art will be removed temporarily for redrawing in favor of my improved art style!
3. Commission prices will receive a major overhaul and repricing to accommodate for both competition and my growing watcher-base

As for CaptainEdge as a whole?

I will be spreading my influence to sites outside of Furaffinity!

I will be reviving my long dead Deviant Art account, increasing activity on Inkbunny, spreading to SoFurry, Tumblr, and other high traffic sites!

Now with this happening I can promise that my attendance here shale increase substantially!

Following the success of my previous requesting event I will gladly hold meny more in favor of the upcoming holidays!

Expect weekly posts and occasional comics as I gather momentum in the artistic world (Bare in mind hiccups can and will occur as life takes its course)

Ive been sick with the flu for the past week and a half so ive been unable to work on the requests, but now that im on the road to recovery I'm eager to get back on the horse!

I've not been all that active as of late and for that I do apologize, but I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a wonderful and safe Halloween night!!!!

I do have a little comic short in the making that I hope will be worth the wait, more or less me testing the waters in how im going to make future comics, so hopes are high for this one!
