I made an Itaku account around a month ago, since people are jumping ship from FA. I was kinda burned by Buzzly back when that was a thing, but I'm crossing my fingers for Itaku. I still got a good chunk of backlog to go through, but it's coming along.

A new ask blog in 2021? How novel!

Yeah, I decided to start an ask blog for my fursona. I figured it'd be fun and give me an excuse to develop her, the setting she inhabits, and my art skills. I'll probably add more characters to the blog over time, but for now, it's just her.

...No, it's not entirely because of the whole quarantine thing. Although the increase in free time definitely helps with that.

I got a drawing tablet for Christmas and I've been trying to get accustomed to it these past few months. Progress on that's been kinda slow, and the first few things I drew, I don't think are worth posting just yet, but I've felt pretty confident about the stuff I've been making recently, so I stuck them here on FA just to get it out there. You can probably expect some more art from me in the future! And I mean that this time, unlike when I said I was gonna make a ref for Joy and then my next pic of her was... decidedly not a ref sheet.

...Maybe I should also make more short stories with my characters so I can actually publish those too. I have a couple sitting in my Google Drive, but I'm not sure those are stories I wanna put out just yet, so I'm holding off on that.

[Tizona]'s a three-eyed Siamese cat who works as a nightclub DJ, I based her off a Pathfinder character I used to play.

Y'know, I just realized how unintentionally baffling this sentence is. Like, the three-eyed thing is actually a trait in Pathfinder that had effects on her social stats, so that's not too bad. But like, even with the context that Tiz was a bard, nightclub DJ probably is not an occupation that immediately comes to mind when you hear the phrase "Pathfinder character", is it?

Also this is my first journal I guess. I dunno what to use these for. It feels like this is like, a thing that should be given some amount of weight or significance to it, but I don't have any announcements to make like ever.
