Posted 2 years agoI'm weighing the pros and cons of changing accounts since Vega is my artist name, and the name I go by with a lot of things... and since for whatever reason you can't change your name on FA, I'm thinking about it. Thoughts?

Moving - 1 slot open to help with costs

Posted 2 years agoSo lately I've been doing only traditional drawings and idk what to do with them all new that they are scanned x.x should I sell them/give them away? Like upload a Pic of the original piece here and say it's for sale/free? I think it might be a good way to help get my name out there if I give people art or sell it to them dirt cheap, plus it beats the pics sitting in my folder for the next ever.

Opening one commission slot!
Posted 2 years agoI'm currently opening one commission slot! It can be digital, or traditional with a digital scan. If the second, you get the original sketch!
At this time I'm only doing a single character slot, unless the idea really peaks my interest! It can be anthro or feral.

Prices range from $100 up to $130 for extremely complex commissions.

I'm indecisive... help?
Posted 2 years agoI've spent the last few months trying to get a better job here in huntsville, and realized quickly it is not a welcoming place. Yes, huntsville is one of the better places in alabama for any member of the LGBTQIA+ community but its still an old military town. And progress moves slow. With some of the stuff my friends have told me, too... I don't know how safe it is here. My relationship also ended recently and I have been back and forth on where to go from here.
I'm presented with a few options. Stay here, keep trying to find a better job so I can stay around my close friends witchykitty and her fiancé, which her and I are really close.
Go back to New England, if I can find a place to stay that isn't with my family, for "keeping me sane" reasons, hehe.
Or try and find somewhere else in the country to go.
I'm pretty much starting over at this point. Taking whatever I can fit into my sedan. So pretty much my art stuff, fursuits, and cloths haha. Right now i'm seeing what makes sense to me. Seeing if I can find furs up north who need a room mate, or if any of the friends I know around the country do.

Posted 3 years agoHeading to MFM in a week, made 35 tails to sell and am working on a fursuit for Vega that i hope to have done in time… Waiting on parts >.> story of my life.
I’ll be getting back to art this week, and knocking out some commissions. I’d like to deeply thank my commissioners for understanding the delay and allowing me to work on something personal such as con stock and Vega. More art to come very soon <3

Posted 3 years agoThank you to all of my subscribers! It means the world to me to have you here ^^ I’m planning to upload a lot more soon, once I move. As soon as I do, I’ll be doing some ych content as well as opening full time for commissions, and streams! I will likely do some personal art as well.currently, as long as I can afford it, my move is planned for April 3rd. Here’s hoping everything goes according to plan!
Commissions for a good cause
Posted 3 years agoI am opening up for commissions, for a few reasons.
The most important reason is... I am trying to get out of a very unsupportive/ mentally damaging situation. I started HRT a month and a half ago. It took me 10 years to finally get on HRT because of how much those around me were unsupportive and sort of made me feel as if it would never work...and that I'd never be who I actually am on the inside and that I should stop trying. Family especially being the main issue. Circumstances have brought me to be forced to live with my family in which I am desperately trying to get away from. However, on the plus side - I have finally found someone I love very much and want to spend the rest of my life with. I am currently doing everything I can to move out of my bad situation and to move down to be with them in Alabama. Weird, I know, that I'd find more support in a place like Alabama than up north where I live but... I'm down here spending the holiday with him and have never felt more myself or safer. I know my situation isn't as bad as others, but if you want some good art for a decent price, it will help me out a lot. I only take payment when I am ready to begin your commission. And I work closely with you to ensure it is what you want. I don't charge for edits, either.
The other reason I am starting to open up commissions is because once I am down in Alabama, I intend to make art into my income source, as it has always been a dream of mine. So, I would like to start getting myself out there as a digital artist.
So if you are interested in having a piece done, I'd be happy to work with you and bring your vision to life.

Pony name change
Posted 3 years agoMy blue unicorn named Xion is now Syeria. A Romanian name meaning princess surrounded by magic. nothing else about her has changed but i decided it was time to give her a netter name because her and my sergal have the same name.. Well not any more.

Theirs a few reasons for that, one being my gender dysphoria finally hitting me rather hard driving me into a spiraling depression.
But now i'm on HRT, I legally changed my name to fit me and dropped my dead name like a lead balloon, got my life going good again, and feel good once more. Currently i'm saving up to move to Alabama to be with my significant other, listed in my profile. I also plan to start doing art full time, as well as streaming a few times a week and doing commissions once i'm down and settled. Currently I have time to do a few, if anyone wants a commission, I'd love to draw something for you.
I've also been uploading stuff to my gallery i've commissioned from other artists over the years and they have been placed in the appropriate folders, with credit given to the artists.
Any way I hope to be able to do some more art soon, either for myself or as a commission.

Posted 7 years agoMy laptop is off being fixed under warranty and should be back by Thursday so I can stream again soon. Here’s hoping it will work...
MacBook issues
Posted 7 years agoMy MacBook stopped working!!! Fuck. I plugged my iPad in and my MacBook just... shut off. I’m guessing the cord did something. It’s an old cord from my iPhone. I have to take it to be repaired Saturday. Hopefully I can do art again soon...
