Sing 2 is apparently so cliche that spoilers are abundant
Posted 4 years agoThe first Sing movie, though I enjoyed it due to the songs and because of Ash and Johnny, was such a cliche storm that you could already tell what was going to happen by the end of it.
I watched the second trailer for Sing 2. Having watched the first trailer, I already had an idea of how the movie will end and how the characters will resolve their conflicts and such. But with the second trailer? Yeah, the creators seem to be so self aware that the movie is such a cliche storm that they aren't even hiding most of the major resolutions.
1) Major plot element is Clay Calloway being brought to perform. He refuses due to still grieving the death of his wife. But surprise! He finds passion to sing again! Buuuuttttt regardless, I'm looking forward to the full duet with him and Ash ^^
2) Surprise, Surprise! Jimmy Crystal is a villain and tries to dispose of Buster.
3) Meena has stage fright again. But don't worry! Her love interest will give her the encouragement she needs to sing in front of an even larger crowd compared to the first movie!
4) Johnny's dad is apparently out of prison
5) Johnny's gonna become a great dancer despite his instructors lack of faith.
All this won't prevent me from watching the sequel, but damn! Why did they have to reveal so much?!

Important Announcement: Name change for character

There are two things that I've never thought I would do in my furry life.
1) Selling a character
2) Changing the name of an existing character
I've sold my wolf gal, Kastine, last year and now I intend to change the name of one of my other gals: Jain.
Over the years since her creation, I was actually satisfied with her name. But when another was brought up to mind about over 2-3 years ago, I have grown dissatisfied with her name.
After some thought and with the encouragement from 5 of my good friends (thank you again, so much!) I have decided to go through with the name change.
I still haven't thought of a surname as of yet, but for now, Jain's new name will be: "Valkairis" or just "Val" for short (will be using the latter a lot more often lol)
To explain how fantastical the name is: Long story short, but there are various sub-species of Dragons in my universe. Three of which are basically the equivalent of Elves in my setting. Another sub-species are found in Scandinavia (though they are considered one of the not-so-higher species in comparison to the three other dragons) and have helped shaped Scandinavia during the 10-11th century (story for another time). These Nordic dragons have names that sound sort-of Scandinavian but in a fantastical sort of way or names that are just straight out of fantasy.
And mind you, my universe runs in a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Alternate History theme, especially since I've recently revealed that one of my characters is a sorcerer and magic does exist in my setting: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38284673/

Where I'm from, there has been a surge of new cases and tragic deaths due to the new delta strain. It's gotten me really worried for my friends and family. And now my good friend, Wallaby Jango, just posted that he has tested Covid Positive.
I'm shocked and worried. If you can, please wish him well and hope that he'll have a speedy recovery. Thank you very much!

I have 4 personal commissions upcoming. One of them is a new reference sheet for my bull, Ahriman.
I have several commission ideas, but due to budget reasons + splitting commissions with two of my good friends, I'm gonna have to limit the amount of personal commissions I'll have to do this year. Granted, I may do more, but that highly depends on the bonus salary I'll get for working overtime.
So I'm creating a poll on what commission idea you'd like to see most. I'll provide 5 choices, and the top three most voted, I will commission this year.

As you can see from my recent submission, I'm back from my hiatus!
I mentioned before that I had to stop commissioning for a while due to a very expensive purchase: A high-end gaming PC. I thought that it would take me a year to recuperate the money spent, but due to a combination of hard work and good luck, I've managed to regain more than the amount spent last January. So I'm back to commissioning, and will be uploading one more submission for today lol
And wow! Over 3000 watchers?! Admittedly, I'm not good in speeches, but I'll get to the point: THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Gotta make some plans for a Free Art Raffle to further show my gratitude ^__^

Whilst he'll still be around this site, it'll be less often and the only time that he'll be online is to either check for the occasional submission or interact with an artist for a potential commission.

A friend is asking to translate English-to-Russian

He has a character who is Russian, and is planning on getting a commission featuring said character. Said commission will feature one or two characters speaking Russian.
Here is the dialogue that he wants translated. He thanks you in advance for your help!
You're boyfriend is a pathetic wimp. All that muscle and he goes down in one punch.
*Laughs* He's literally a "Paper Tiger"

Posted 5 years agoHello, everyone! I hope you are having a good/decent 2021 so far.
I would like to make an announcement in regards to my plans for this year.
https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9685019/ I mentioned in this journal that I may go on a commissioning hiatus for the first half of 2021, due to my plans to buy a new Gaming PC. Almost 2 weeks ago, I managed to buy said Gaming PC (the PC includes an RTX 3060 TI) and it is working very well.
However, the parts were a lot more expensive than I anticipated. And calculating my finances, I am sad to say that I will be unable to do any commission work (along with split commissions with other users) for the whole year. With the possible exception of perhaps just ONE personal commission (provided that I manage to get extra funds).
So for the rest of the year, I will be saving my money until I reach the amount I had before I bought the PC. I'm quite sad that I've had to put any commission plans on hold due to my very expensive purchase, but I think it's a fair sacrifice, because now I can play the more hardware demanding games. Plus, I think I need the hiatus in prevent any burn-out when it comes to commissioning.
Mind, I'll still be around looking over artwork and faving them if they interest me. Commenting silly commenting and just saying "Hi! How are you doing?". Entering Free Art Raffles and such. But I'll not be commissioning anything for the rest of the year (but again, with the possible exception of just ONE personal commission, and even then it'll likely take me several months for me to get the extra funds).
That is all I have to say. I hope everyone is gonna have a great 2021! And I hope that this pandemic will be over this year so that things will finally be back to normal. Take care, everyone! Thank you all so much for your kindness and support, and your interest in my characters and artwork!

Posted 5 years agoThe reason being is that I'm saving some of my extra funds and diverting funds for commissions to the former because I'm going to make one of my most costly purchases in a long while: Buying a new PC rig for gaming.
And the parts are going to be expensive. For one, I'm planning on buying either the new RTX 3070 or the upcoming RTX 3060, and either is gonna be quite pricey.
So if I'm able to purchase all the parts, then that'll leave me without funds for commissioning for several months. I might be able to do one more commission during the first half of next year, if I still have extra cash, but that'll be for a personal commission. I'll have to see, come what may.
To anyone tech savy, I have a question in regards to the M.2 SSD's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdAv4ueCG1s
