Just a quick update involving some simple rules regarding artwork in our gallery:
Adult and NSFW artwork is not allowed, though artistic nudity is accepted.
Extreme fetishes (scat, watersports, gore, etc) are not allowed; lighter ones are fine.
Considering these rules, we should be accepting any artwork made partly or wholly in Blender which you wish to share.

Group update and revival!
Posted 9 years agoA happy new year to all Blender users! dragonarica here!
I do apologise for the lack of content and updates on this page for the past while, but now I have enough consistent time to say that I'm reviving this group officially! As far as I know Rizel is currently AWOL, so here's some things I have planned for the near future:
- New icon and page ID! You can press F5 (refresh) for the updated icon! Stylish and simple IMO.
This is what I was thinking for the new ID, based in the same style as the icon. What do you all think?
- I'm working on compiling a categorised list of tutorials for all of us Blender Furs. I am working on getting quality material which will allow us to improve our knowledge of blender, and if someone has a specific thing they'd like to learn, we can always help each other out!
- Lastly, if you have anything you've made wholly or partly in Blender that you're proud of, send a note to this page (or directly to ) and we'll post it up here!

Tutorial Ideas
Posted 10 years agoSo most of what we're seeing as far as suggestions go are tutorials for getting started. I'm all for this idea: every person I've talked to about Blender always struggles with the interface to start with (myself included, not that I talk to myself though (shut up, yes you do)).
I suppose my question would be this: do you think it would be better as a live-stream, a video, or perhaps an image-by-image tutorial?
Also, I'm all for trying out a Q&A stream or posts. I'm no expert at Blender, but I'm confident that I could help others reach my personal level of skill.

Reminder and suggestion!
Posted 10 years agoFirst of all, this is a reminder to all Blender users that, if by any chance, you have artwork either made wholly in, or partly with Blender, you are free to send a note to us to have it featured in the gallery!
And in order to facilitate some more activity as well as growth of this group I'm thinking along the lines of starting up either some sort of interactive tutorial system or maybe Q+A sessions where someone posts a problem and everyone pitches in to try help them out. What do you guys think? Any suggestions? o:Welcome, Dragonarica!

You're welcome to bother either of us either here on the page or on our personal accounts for any problems you encounter.

Icon Change!
Posted 11 years agoI think the time is ripe to have a change of icon, don't you think? And what better way than to have a contest again!
Rules:
You have until November 31st to complete the image.
It must fall within acceptable standards for uploading to FA.
The icon should portray what our group is all about.
Ideally, it should also be in 3D, but it'll be up to a vote.
You can post the image in your gallery and link here, or use other sites. Either way, I will likely upload the image to the public gallery here and provide credit to you (so long you're okay with that).
Once I have all the submissions, we'll have everyone decide in a little voting and go from there!
If you have any questions, fire away below.
