In the Kaidan Universe, a hemisphere is defined as a coalition of planets under the banner of one God, who places a champion called a "Protector" to act as the God's liaison. They are separated into four hemispheres: Nokaech (governed by Jaidan Saalamadus of the Saalamadus Kingdom), Eakaech (watched over by Serena Takezaki of the Crimson Bluffs), Sokaech (led by Mephidiis Khan of the Harrowdark Jungle), and Wekaech (ruled by Lord Magnus of the Rook Basin). Surrounding the Hemispheres is what is known as the Outlands, planets with no apparent laws, places where the Hemispheres don't go to and whose visits they don't tolerate. In the middle of the Hemispheres is the planet Altia'Luc, where it has been more or less been split into four sections, one for each Hemisphere: Q'on Trog for Eakaech, the Eastern Altian Union for Nokaech, Kaga Dhao and Eunivillae for Wekaech, and Copertane for Sokaech.
