Significantly better today. The drugs are working well, and I'm in MUCH less pain.

Haven't gotten the blood test results back, but I'm assuming they'll tell me I have gout.

EDIT: Doctors aren't sure what's up, as they don't have enough information. I am on antibiotics and Prednasone. They think it may be Gout, but I'm also being tested for Lyme Disease and a potential infection. Thanks everyone for the kind words.

This is another one of those late night update posts I tend to produce when I don't want to sleep yet, and I don't really have the energy to do much else. Here's some updates that will sound very similar to the last bajillion set of updates I've done:

A) Work is killer. This is good and bad. The past few weeks have consisted of me working 11 hours, coming home, eating dinner, and pretty much passing out. I don't mind the monotony, but holy god is it draining. This weekend was spent sleeping, and playing Fallout: New Vegas almost exclusively. It's been fantastic. I've also received a $.60 raise (whoo), and may be moving up to Engineering in a few months. We may have an absolute shitload of work coming in this December/January, which could mean big doings around the shop. I guess we'll find out!

B) Even though it's an old journal that didn't get much attention, please check out http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1744717/ and offer up some stuff! I like doing interviews and talking about random crap. Gimme some kooky shit to talk about, and you can hear this wolf talk about whatever embarrassing stuff you can come up with.

C) THIS GUY is coming to visit me next week. Yes, he barely has an FA profile, as he just joined..but holy crap, he's freaking awesome. I've known him for years and years, and he's one of the nicest people on the face of the Earth. This calls for much nerdage. I'm pretty damn excited about it (and am also getting a buncha time off work! More sleeping!),

D) Beadwork. What we're all here for. It's still going to happen. I haven't stopped, promise. The only time it's going to happen realistically is the weekends, and that's assuming I'm not too worn out, and I have the beads/designs to make something. If you guys wanna see something made, ask me. I have a few things lined up currently that I will need to make. Boner, I'm looking at you! For those of you still waiting on orders, I'm a huge prick that hasn't been able to get to the post office. That will be AS SOON AS I CAN GET THERE, REALLY. I feel awful about that. :(

S'about it, really. It's not really anything too exciting around here. For what it's worth, Pepper is still here. He's grown a lot, and is very happy and healthy. He'll be moving in with my brother soon..I hope he can handle that crazy ball of cat.

Hey folks!

It's Sunday. I have tomorrow off, and I'm randomly on FA. I figured I would post a semi-long journal here to update everyone on what's going on, what will be going on, and what HAS been going on.

I know things have been rather quiet on the bead front. That'll change eventually. For now, I just haven't been feeling too inspired. I get slumps like this. I think once things settle down a little for me, and I get another long weekend, I will spend it being lazy and doing lots of beadwork.

As it stands, I have commissions to mail out. I'm sorry you guys have had to wait so long! I had time today to get them prepped for shipping (basically, I need to prep all the magnets/keychains, and then get your packages ready, weighed, the labels printed and paid, etc.), but I slacked off. D: Maybe tomorrow. To the one person who is waiting on a sprite (it's the secret thing), get in touch with me about that.

For future non-commissioned sprites, I dunno. I will work on Pokemon s'more if I don't find anything else. I also really want to get rid of this box of sprites I have laying around. Maybe I should hold a contest or something? Got any ideas on a creative way to get rid of a bunch of bead sprites? I won't do kiribans.

As to what else has been going on, life's been pretty busy for me. I'm officially starting full time this week. Working 11 hour days (10 with an hour for lunch) is tough, but the hours go by fast when I'm busy. Also, the guy training me is a big fan of WoW, so we get along real well. Work is killer, though. I wake up at 6am, head into work for 7:30, work until 6:30, get home at 7, and pretty much eat and pass out. However, I'm really getting a hang for what this place does and how it operates now. If anyone's curious about it all, lemme know. Let's just say for now I'm spending most of my time running an Excellon XL-5. It's really weird to be out working in the real world.

The kitten is doing well! He is still staying with us at the moment. His name is officially Pepper, and he's a pretty cool cat. He's grown a lot. We took him to the vet a while back. He was mostly healthy, besides typical worms and possible ringworm. He was treated for that, and has mostly recovered. He's grown a lot, and is quite the happy hyper thing. He's shredded my leg to ribbons, and takes the smelliest craps ever. However, he's very well behaved, and he likes to curl up on my face and sleep. He'll be heading out of here in a week or so when my brother moves into his new place. I'll miss 'im.

Tomorrow I'll be hanging out with a friend from high school, taking her out to lunch. It's the most 'adult' (I don't mean that in the porn sense, dammit) thing I've done in a while. It'll be really nice to catch up and just chat about stuff. I'll probably get the rest of my beadwork sorted out as well, and depending on how I'm feeling, I will get another sprite or two cranked out.

Since I now have an income, I'm becoming a lot more open to freebies/trades/requests. If you have something you want to see, or if you have a really good reason for wanting something small, let me know. :) I have plenty of envelopes.

Another random note- I haven't done it in a while, but I do occasionally stream my beadwork on Skype. That basically means one person gets to watch at a time. >.>; I don't have the bandwidth to support a uStream, otherwise I'd be doing that. Most of the time Boner (That's ) or Cow () get first dibs, but if someone else wants to watch, add me on your contacts. Bonus points if I know you.

Approximately 0 people have asked me this. Though when I put it like that, it sounds like I'm seeking attention. I'm not! I'm just wanting to update people.

So I had my first two days at work this week! It's a long, tedious job, and it wears me out, but that's how work should be.

For anyone curious as to what I do, I can try and explain. The company I work for designs, machines, assembles, and ships custom test fixtures used for set top cable/satellite boxes. Basically, if a customer wants to know why their cable box isn't work, the cable company needs to test the box. We build fixtures that basically plug into the back of the box, and then they're wired to do diagnostics and whatnot. Only 16 people in the world do this kind of work. My job is the physically assembly of the fixtures, as well as other miscellaneous duties around the shop. I'm working 10 hours shifts at the moment, 2-3 days a week.

ANYWAY, the point of this journal is to tell people that I'm still around. I know I've been super quiet, but a lot of stuff has been happening. My paws hurt pretty bad from doing all this stuff, so the last thing I want to do on my day off is beadwork. My body just needs to adjust, I think. To anyone with commissions, I will get them done ASAP. Other work will probably be put on hold for now while I get used to all of this.

I'm not going anywhere, and I'm not done with beadwork. I'm just tired and need to adjust to everything going on here. I'm sure you'll all understand. First of all- the initial job interview went well. I will have a second interview scheduled in a week or two..depending on that goes, I'd be employed the week after. Cross your fingers! Thanks for everyone's support on this. It's really a crucial step in getting my life together here.

Things seem to actually be lookin' up for me. Now, I don't really know anything yet, but I may have a job interview soon. It's not bullshit retail, either. It's a career potential. This could be huge. I will keep you guys updated.

Also, I'm going to be an uncle again! My sister-in-law just found out she's pregnant again. Unexpected, but we're all thrilled, and so is she. So awesome! :D

Art-wise, I have a few commissions lined up. Huge thanks to everyone for your interest. Please keep 'em coming- I really need the cash to pay for student loans (though I know it's no substitute for an honest to goodness job, which I'm working on!). I will continue with the Pokemon series once I finish up my current batch of commissions. More beer reviews coming as well.

Been spending all today watching this guy do a Let's Play of a Fallout mod for Dwarf Fortress. Pretty sweet stuff, and very, very addicting for some strange reason. Check it out.

So yeah, referring to this journal, I want to make something perfectly clear.

If you feel like you do any of those things on the list, you absolutely should not sit there wondering if I'm pissed off at you. It's merely a list of things that occasionally bother me. I'm a reasonable, sane person. I'm not going to go off the handle if you type a :3 or use your instead of you're. If you've known me for any length of time, you know that this is true. It is totally unreasonable to expect -anyone- to change their behavior based on a list of stuff that I don't like. I don't want anyone to feel like they need to walk on eggshells around me. That's arrogant and assumes way too much on my end. I wrote the journal as more of a rant, and because I was bored.

Furthermore, I'm aware I'm being a hypocrite in some aspects, by using my journal as a Facebook/LJ kinda thing, and that I'm bitching about stupid shit. Call me out on that- it's fine. You have every right to. I won't argue with on there. Hell, I'll even take the journal down if you don't want to read it. I'm aware of how it makes me look and how it makes me sound. It's who I am, though. People that have known me for a long time know that I'm not really that douchey of a person.

Now that THAT is out of the way, I'll throw some bead-related updates your way (just to make sure there's at least something here that's art related and I'm not being a double douche). The SMRPG sprite I did seems pretty popular. Expect the rest of the series real soon. I'll also be cranking out another Pokemon or two. I haven't forgotten about that series, and I do intend to create the original 151. I've either not been wanting to, or I've been busy with other stuff in life.

I'm REALLY bored tonight, so I think I'm going to waste a bunch of time and type out a list of pet peeves that I have. WARNING: I'm probably going to sound like an enormous douchebag. It happens. I'm a grouchy fuck. However, I'm really not that bad of a person. I just get annoyed by a lot of shit. If you have a problem with any of it..well, too bad. This isn't your journal. It's mine.

Also, if you're a friend of mine, and you feel like you fit into a few of these, don't fucking panic, okay? If you annoyed me to an extent where it becomes an issue, I wouldn't talk to you. Don't be paranoid. <3

EDIT: Really! This isn't like..three strikes and you're out. It's just a list of stuff that will occasionally make me grumble quietly. There are ALWAYS exceptions to the rule. Besides, I know I annoy plenty of people. Don't apologize for being who you are and doing what you do. This was more of a vent and rant than anything.

Listed in no particular order.

1. People that can't shut the fuck up about their mates. This is probably one of the biggest ones. If you're mated, that's great. I'm happy for you. We don't need a "MATED TO THE GREATEST PERSON EVER :icon: <3333333" spamming your front page. Also, if more than 10% of your sentences in an IM contain the phrase "my mate", fuck you. I get that you have a mate. Stop mentioning them. It's annoying to me and everyone else. Don't put shit up in your away messages about missing your mate either. I'm so tired of people going "OH I HAVEN'T SEEN MY MATE IN .00000003 SECONDS IN MISS THEM SOOOOOO MUCH". Also if you can't type a sentence without using 'we' in it because you always have to do something with your mate, you're making me cringe and most likely doing the same for your friends. You are an individual- do not let your mate define you.

2. Cutesy shit. I don't like it. I don't know why. It just annoys me. Now, I mean people that try and act cute online. Not cute stuff online. I just tend to ignore that. However, if you're gonna be all "KAWAII DESU~ ^_____^! <33 :3" around me, I'll probably just stop talking to you. Yeah, it's douchey, and I know some people are just cute by default. I'm not. I just see it as being immature, though I know it can be presented in more mature manners. I'm just being unfairly general here. When you are presenting yourself online, you can present yourself in any number of ways- why you choose to do so in this manner is, to me, rather foolish. Then again, I'm a huge douchebag.

3. Illiteracy and bad grammar. I actually wrote a rant about this on my F-List. You can find it here. It'll be listed under the drop down.

4. Drama. This is a rather broad category. Don't do stupid shit online. Don't cause drama. Nobody likes the shit. If you do, well..you're a moron. Yes, this IS the furry fandom, and we're known for it..but meh. I try not to cause it. I wonder if this journal will cause it. A few seconds of thought before you say or do something can save everyone a headache.

5. Bitching about stupid shit. God, this is so prevalent. I'm actually probably doing it right now. However, I can't tell you how many stupid journals I read on here about people whining about crap they can easily fix. It sucks that you're alone. Why are you writing on here about it? One of your friends being an asshole online? It happens. Life can suck sometimes. Not everything is rainbows and fuzzy shit. Deal with it. Legitimate crisis are one thing, dumb crap is another. If you're on a computer with internet access allowing you to bitch and whine about your problems, you're better off than probably 90% of the world population as is.

6. Using FA like a LiveJournal or Facebook. I'll probably get yelled at for this one. I'm being a bit of a hypocrite as is. However, FA is ultimately an art site. A place to display art of the written, auditory, or drawn variety. The journal system is a way to provide status updates relative to that artwork, as well as anything concerning you not being present or something. I'm really sick of "Hey guys, I heard this funny joke today." or "....." or "I'm bored." or some other totally pointless crap. Shut the fuck up. Nobody cares. BUT FUZZ YOU'RE DOING THAT RIGHT NOW AREN'T YOU? Yeah. Shut up, I have nowhere else to write this. Stop using FA like your Facebook or LiveJournal or whatever. Stir that shit up somewhere else. Exceptions to this include: Major events that you want your friends on FA to know about, reasons you'll potentially be gone from the site, any kind of art-related information, and maybe the occasional birthday/artist/sale/friend promotion.

6a. Meme posts. This one isn't a huge annoyance for me, but still a minor peeve, hence the sub-number. I mean hell, I post the occasional meme from time to time. The main reason I do so is because I'm interested in what other people have to say in response to it. There have been some very interesting memes out there. However, there are a lot of stupid, bullshit, pointless memes out there, too. I guess it's a way to relieve boredom or something? I'm just not a fan of spam, I guess. I'm pretty lenient on this. However, if you start spamming rage comics or 'arrow to the knee' shit, I'm going to punch you in the everything. That shit is stupid and not funny; stop it. STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE.

7. :3 and :P This is oddly specific. I fucking hate these stupid emoticons. They're pretentious, annoying, and people overuse them. To me, they're basically a way of saying "I said something snarky and asshole-ish, but it's okay because I made a face." Fuck you. Don't use them around me. They're annoying. I know that a lot of people are used to using these, and this isn't the context for them most of the time. However, that's how my brain sees them, and that won't change. I'm not gonna throw a fit if you use 'em once in a while, but it still annoys me. This peeve is particularly douchey, I know.

8. Immaturity. Rampant on here. Seriously. This is coming from a dude who is 25, lives with his parents, and has no girlfriend. I'm a fat nerd. The epitome of basement-dwelling stereotypes. HOWEVER, I'm fully aware of this. My situation exists because of ME. I don't bitch about anyone else causing this for me. People need to understand that shit happens, and a majority of the time, their issues can be solved by getting off their lazy asses and doing something. Sometimes that's not true. In that case, I'm sorry for you. People just seem to live in their own worlds in the fandom sometimes. They also love to bitch and blame others for their shit. They forget they're living in the real world. Stop doing that. Man up. Take responsibility. Act mature.

9. Arrogance. This is pretty self explanatory. Don't be full of yourself around me. It's the quickest way to piss me off. Even more so when I run into mythological/not real species on FA that are full of themselves because they are a mythological/not real species (I'm a wise, noble dragon, so bow down before me HURR. Fuck you, you're not a dragon. Dragons aren't real. I'm not actually a wolf either, shockingly enough.). Give me a break. Stop being a dick and grow the fuck up. I honestly don't care if it's part of your character or something. Maybe some people enjoy that kind of attitude, but I don't.

10. People who think that because I like metal, my taste in music is moot. Oh fuck you. Metal is one of the more diverse and developed genres of music out there. That's fine if you don't like the music, but don't fucking judge me because of it. I can respect your views, but not if you're a dumbass. If you have valid reasons for not liking metal (a lot of people find it harsh, and a lot of metal really is just shit, but there is a lot that's decent as well), by all means I can respect that. Just don't lump me into the group of people that doesn't know shit about music.

11. RP greetings. Another specific, douchey pet peeve of mine. When people want to talk to me online, please just go "Hey Fuzz, what's up?" or something similar along those lines. I don't like when people go <noses> or <tailswish> or something totally pointless that isn't a greeting. And for fuck's sake, don't greet me with an RP action that I can't even respond to, i.e., <wonders what you're thinking> or some shit. It annoys me. I don't know why. Please just say hello if you want to chat with me. I know that some people don't want to say "Hey, what's up?" because they don't think I'm there..but really, it's preferred. Exceptions to this involve people I'm very close with that I trust, and who understand my style of RP. In that case, I usually won't mind. This leads me to..

12. Clinginess. Now, I used to be clingy to some people in the past. I've matured and grown out of that (for the most part). HOWEVER, there have been times that I come back to my PC and see like..10 messages from the same person asking if I'm there or some other such nonsense. Did I reply to your message? No? I'M NOT FUCKING THERE. I would reply if I was. I don't go into an idle state on my messenger. I disabled that. Sometimes I get pulled away. Sometimes I don't put an away message up. That's my fault. However, if I'm not replying to your IM, I'm not there. Stop asking me if I am. Seriously. Now in rare circumstances my messenger will screw up. I use Digsby, so it can act funny with some IM clients. When this happens, the blame is totally not on your side, and you have every right to leave messages. I can tell the difference, and it's not annoying.

13. Random FA or YouTube links. Don't expect me to click a link if you just randomly post it. If you're going to give me a YouTube link, tell me what it is first. Don't go "It's funny!". Tell me what it is. My internet sucks, and it's a bit of an effort to put everything on hold to let a video buffer. Please apply the same courtesy to FA. I need to know if I'm opening a cute sketch, or tentacle shit cub porn. Context to everything is key. Don't ask if I've watched/clicked the link, either. I'll get to it if I want to. I'll extend the same courtesy to you, as I tend to post links to both sites as well.

14. People that bash on shit because it's mainstream. Give me a valid argument and I'll concede. Your dislike of the latest and greatest because it's just that means nothing to me unless you have real reasoning for it. Don't bitch about stuff because it's new (I'm looking at YOU, FA layout change!). Try it out. Give it some time. Then make your arguments. Just because you're trying painfully hard to be a non-conformist hipster douche doesn't make you cool.

15. People that can't read. Seriously. All of my contact info is posted on my profile. All of my pricing, commission, shipping, and beading information is posted on my profile. Bead sizes and examples are posted on my profile. Read those if you have questions. That's why I created them. I love that people have an interest in my work, but stop asking questions I've already answered. Take a few minutes and read it. It cuts down on the amount of work for EVERYONE involved. I even made sure the most prevalent information was in a large, underlined, bold link with different colors on the top of my profile. It's almost the first thing there. You can't miss it. If you're unsure of the price of a sprite, that's okay. Sometimes I don't post the bead count. I can check for you. But seriously folks..I've had a few people asking for my pricing info..it's right there. There's a link that says "PRICING". I can't make it any more obvious, I don't think.

16. People that bait me into asking them questions. If you IM me and say something like "I'm listening to this awesome band." or "I'm playing this awesome game." and you don't tell me the name of the movie or the game. I'm not going to ask you. I'll go "That's great." and leave it at that. If you want me to know the name of the movie or game or band or whatever..say it. Tell me what it is, instead of making me ask. It's not hard, and it makes you sound like a prick otherwise.

17. People who always want to typefuck. Look, I enjoy RPing and yiffing as much as the next guy. However, I'm not always in the mood for it. I was when I was 16. I'm 25 now. Getting into a good RP like that is a good investment of my time and mental resources. Get used to it when I say "I'm not in the mood." If you'd like to talk about other stuff and generally make smalltalk, that would be awesome. It also shows you care outside of typefucking. It pisses me off when the only reason you talk to me is "Wanna RP?" and then when I say no, you either feel like I'm neglecting you (?!) or "you're never in the mood", or you just stop talking altogether. Fuck off, I have other priorities. If you think I'm a shitty friend because I don't type <thrusts and moans> at you for a while, re-evaluate your standards for what a friend is.

17b. People who thinking RP can cure anger/sadness/depression. I don't really get this. While I do appreciate that my online friends want to try and do something to help, RP is definitely not the answer. Usually when you're upset or annoyed or angry you tend not to have a lot of energy. Why people think I want to devote mental energy to thinking up a scene and the physical energy typing out that scene is beyond me. 18. Stupid away messages. This is another specific, cheesy, douchey pet peeve of mine. On IM, I hate when people have stupid, dramatic, pointless status messages. If you're pissed off, type that you're upset or something and leave it be. Don't air your dirty laundry for everyone to see. Don't post stupid emo song lyrics either- that's probably the worst. Also (and this isn't LAW by any means, but can be kinda annoying on my end), if you're gonna be out for a while, indicate that. It can be kinda frustrating to see "Out." and not know how long somebody is going to be gone for. I know I've done that a few times myself, but I've been trying to catch it lately. Now, if you don't know how long you're going to be out for, that's understandable! Just say so.

19. Religion, Politics, Sexuality, etc. These things don't annoy me per se, but it bothers me when people want to sit down and talk about them. I'll be blunt- I'm a horrible debater. I can't argue for shit. I don't like to. I tend to make it rather clear that I would prefer not to discuss such things. I politely step aside from them. I would prefer not to know your views on such things. I'm not going to change your views, and you're not going to change mine. Let's leave it at that and be adults. I prefer non-confrontation to getting in a stupid petty fight about it.

I find them weird and not necessary at all. Now, my closest friends I consider to be like brothers or sisters..but I don't go listing them as such. It just starts to get strange when you have like..mothers/fathers, uncles or some shit. I don't see the point. I know a lot of people didn't grow up with an ideal family life, and didn't really have relatives growing up. If it's left an impact on you to the point that you feel like you need to seek a replacement..get some therapy or something. I mean that in the sense of there are programs that can help. There are places you can go for free. It's not healthy (THIS IS ALL OPINION) to kind of replace those gaps with, essentially, internet strangers. I just find it kinda creepy that some people have mothers and fathers like that. You have REAL fathers and mothers. They may not have been the best..but you're stuck with 'em. I just think the whole thing is kinda creepy and strange. Doesn't mean I won't be your friend if you have one..just don't go talking about your uncle or something when referring to some dude on the internet. Meh. HYPOCRITE BONUS: In the heat of the moment I like being called Daddy. So sue me.

21. People who are essentially 'one trick ponies' when it comes to talking online. I'm really tired of people that only ever talk about ONE thing whenever you're online. Are you really into music? Great. I don't care what you're listening to/playing/writing every single time we talk. Like games? I don't want to hear about the one particular game you love so much every time we decide to chat. Stop telling me about your kid/mate/hobby/job AND ONLY THAT. Mind you, feel free to bring them up in normal conversation, as that's what conversation is..but if it is ALL you talk about, I don't want to talk to you. Expand your interests.

22. People who bottle up anger or rage and then let it all spill out. First off- if you think this is directed ONLY AT YOU, you're wrong. It's not. Anyway, I've been burned by this a few times in the past now. People get mad at me over some things I've done in the past, and they don't say anything about it. They just let it all build up inside and then suddenly they explode and make me feel like the worst person in the world. Here's a thought- when I do something that bothers you or annoys you, why don't you let me know? If we can resolve something to fix the issue, then there's only short term annoyance to deal with, rather than a long term buildup that leads to potentially friendship-damaging issues. Seriously. I don't always realize when I'm being a prick. Let me know, and I'd be happy to work with you on trying to solve problems.

23. The Internet outside of the Internet. This is becoming more and more of a trend lately. People seem to think that it's HILARIOUS to use those stupid memes and phrases and whatnot outside of the internet. Holy shit it's annoying. If you're one of those people who goes "LOL" IRL or calls someone a "good guy greg" and then look around smugly because of your internet superiority, I will glare daggers at you and then punch you in your stupid internet cancer-ridden mouth. Stop it.

24. TV chefs who bring their kid/relatives onto the show to cook with them. Now I know this has very little to do with the previous peeves, but I think I will start listing ALL of my peeves. This one annoys the fuck out of me. I LOVE watching cooking shows. I love seeing talented chefs create tasty dishes using expert tools and techniques. They're professionals. Get your stupid fucking kid or relative that doesn't know how to cook off the show. They don't know what they're doing, they're annoying, and they ruin the flow of the show. There's a reason producers and whatnot are very strict with quality control on shows. It's boring and annoying to watch some little kid or moron relative struggle to make a dish you could crank out in minutes. It's also incredibly awkward to see you interact with one another- JUST COOK.

25. Snobs. Just because you personally feel like you know a lot about beer or hot sauce or music doesn't make you entitled to look down on others. I don't give a shit if you drink $12 a bottle stouts and only like hot sauce with 3.5 million scoville units or higher. People like what they like. If you sit there going "UGH YOUR TASTE IN <blank> IS BAD AND YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD BECAUSE I'M AWESOME"..well fuck off. We all have our own preferences. Do I enjoy fine beers and other such things? Absolutely. Do I look down on someone because they like something I don't? No- I'm not an idiot.

26. Dubstep? More like WUB WUB WUB. HAHAHA, Fuck you. You're stupid and don't know anything about music. I don't listen to much of the genre, but I know better than to just generalize the entire thing. You're not funny or clever by saying this- you're just a stupid douchebag. Get off the circlejerk.

27. "Furry" language. This is slightly more on track with the previous listings. If you're one of those furs that uses words like "Murrhole" "Murrsona" "Murrsuit" or god forbid "Murrsday" in reference to a day of the week, you're an idiot. Stop trying to make words 'furry'. We're already enough of a plague on the world without taking words and making them fucking stupid. I will admit, I'm guilty of using the terms 'fursona' and 'pawing' in reference to masturbation, but fuck guys..quit being so stupid!

28. Music choice in certain commercials/shows, This is something I've noticed lately. If there is something going on in a show that has a piece of music with lyrics that are related to it..HOLY SHIT BETTER PLAY IT ON LOOP. I was watching America's Got Talent, and they were talking about like..families or something..so for literally about 10 minutes straight they looped that one part of that stupid "We are family~" song..JUST THAT ONE PART. FOR LIKE TEN MINUTES. Holy shit I get it. It says the word 'family'. Thanks for shoving it in my face and making it blatant that FAMILY FAMILY FAMILY. I've also seen this done on car commercials. Ugh.

29, Assuming I know the context of what you're talking about. I love when people want to talk to me, but I hate when I'm messaged with something random. I'm supposed to magically assume the context of what you're saying somehow. I hate that. If you want to talk about something with me, please feel free to go right ahead, but don't just dive into something and expect me to have any clue what you mean. I'm not going to just sit there and figure it out. It's sort of conversation 101.

So yeah, I'm a grouchy prick. I know that. This doesn't mean I sit around being horrible to talk with all day. I just get annoyed by a lot of stuff. I love having mature, intelligent conversations with people. I love RPing with people, too. I just don't like dealing with immature childish people. Be a realist. We're all humans, living in a human world. Act like it. Most of these pet peeves can be traced back for simply wanting people to have standards on the internet. I wish we could all act like reasonable, sane, intelligent human beings, but I know that's too much to ask for a lot of the internet. I'm just putting it out there.

I know I'm not perfect and I'm probably violating a few of my own rules in posting this. Whatever.

Don't bitch about the new layout. I know you all are going to anyway, but whatever.

You'll get used to it, and it'll be just fine. Don't lash out at it because it's new. It probably has made the backend of this whole operation much easier for the admins. Since they let us use the site freely, don't bitch about it.

We'll all need to get used to it. But we will, and a month from now, it'll be just as standard as the old layout.

EDIT: To anyone bashing the admins for doing this (nobody in this journal, but in other's that I've seen) -- go fuck yourselves, you self-entitled pricks. You're provided with this site, free of charge, to display your work, to comment on it, to post journals, and a whole host of other stuff. You're not paying for it. You're not paying for it. You have absolutely no ownership in this site. The admins have the say in it. Don't fucking insult them because they're upgrading their databases and servers, and improving their backend so they can do their jobs. What the fuck is so hard to understand about all of this? These people work their asses off. The layout changes are minor at this point, and transitional for their new UI. If you don't like it, too fucking bad. Deal with it. You'll adjust and get used to it, but don't insult the administration because they changed the damn style sheet on 'your' FA.

I had to get that out of my system. Childish behavior pisses me off (says the wolf spouting swears and bitching at nobody in particular on his FA).

DOUBLE EDIT: The above does NOT refer to people who dislike the 'new' layout of FA. You're certainly entitled to your opinion and I respect that. I'm just pissed off at the people who are insulting administration directly because of technical issues with the site. Have you ever done a massive database transfer like that? Probably not. Fuck off. If you have done it before and you're still bitching, fuck off.

Just a quick note- I added a new size of sprites. I now have a price for 'tiny' sprites, which is anything underneath 350 pixels. I felt like it was a bit much to charge $7 shipped for a real tiny sprite.

Base cost for tiny sprites is $3, excluding shipping.

Would love some requests. I'm working on some sprites right now, but would love some new ideas.

BBQ this weekend was absolutely godlike..however, THAT is for another time.

I'm looking at some of the retro sprites, and wanted to run a few things by people.

I'm checking out the sprite sheet at http://www.spriters-resource.com/ar.....ga/sheet/26482 to work on.

All of the Galaga sprites would be perfect for coasters. However, the straight up sprites would be too tiny/fragile to make on their own.

There would be 12 coasters total if I decided to make each little ship. Each coaster is about 440 beads.

I'm wondering if people would be interested in purchasing any of them before I decide to go ahead and make them. I don't mind making the sprites, but if I make coasters, I'd rather they get made than just sit around all day collecting dust. If someone wanted to buy the set, I'd ship 'em all out for $60 total, which is a slight discount.

Any takers?

If I don't get any, I'll keep looking into it, but I will probably move on to Donkey Kong sprites. Donkey Kong himself is kinda 'tarded huge, so I may not make him unless I have someone interested in buying him. Expect to see a lot of tiny sprites in the near future.

Couple of quick things here, then I'll leave ya be.

First of all, I'll be gone until Monday or so. My WoW guild is having a huge BBQ, and I plan on attending the whole weekend. I will probably be extremely drunk. It's going to be awesome. Gonna get to meet a ton of new guildies! :D

Anyway, the main reason I'm writing this post is because I wanted to run an idea by everyone. I'm basically bored when it comes to spriting, but only in the sense of that I can't think of many new series to work on. I have my Pokemon stuff, but I'll get to that later. (Still haven't abandoned that project by the way. People that reserved sprites will get 'em!)

I was thinking of maybe starting a Retro series. Basically, classic arcade games like Donkey Kong, Centipede, Space Invaders, Galaga, etc. Since a lot of them are such basic sprites, I figured I could do color swaps, neon, glow in the dark, etc.

Think there'd be any interest?

Also, list of some classic arcade games like the ones I mentioned above. I know there are a ton of iconic ones I'm missing. Lemme know what you think!

Happy 4th, first of all. Hope you all had a great evening. I know I did. Ate smoked meat, went woodchuck hunting, hung out with my brothers..ooh yeah. The 2nd was my brother's birthday..consisted of beer, steak, cigars, and fireworks. Fuck. Yes.

Anyway, wanted to post some random stuff, because I know I'm quiet.

Also, I had this really badass dream the other day that I've already shared with a few people. I figured I'll share it here too. (I dunno why I'm posting this..it's FA, not..I dunno, LiveJournal or some shit) Basically, I was given some kind of physical test by this archangel, and my goal was to eradicate evil inside this college dorm. I wasn't given any weapons, but the 'key' to getting into the dorm was shaped like a really badass sword.

So I stabbed the door to get into the building. Walking in, there were these college students just sitting there. I knew something was wrong. They asked me "What's up?" and I replied "SATAN" and chopped a door down with my sword. They didn't seem to notice or care. All of a sudden, this random BLACK BEAR busts in. I start stabbing it in the face until it gets annoyed and I ride it out of the dorm. I walk back in, they still don't seem to care or notice. Then, this little kitten walks in and I went "NICE TRY SATAN" and kicked it out the window. I then woke up.

Anyway, it got me to thinking..anyone out there willing to draw Fuzz in a rather cliche style? I'd love to see him in like..some kind of black trenchcoat, with a katana or something similar..maybe sunglasses too. His back would be towards the..camera, I guess, with his head looking almost over his shoulder. I'd be willing to work out a trade or something!

Let's see..what else is going on? Got denied for a job I wanted..manager is a douchebag. Gotta keep looking. I"m almost outta money here.

Don't have much in the way of beadwork at the moment. I have a trade I'll be doing at some point, but no real commissions for the time being. We'll see what happens.

I know I've been super quiet the past month or so. I apologize for that, though it's not really important, I suppose.

First of all- I'm still around. Everything's fine. I haven't disappeared, and my beadwork isn't over. I just want to get that out of the way. I just haven't been around much.

Honestly, it's mostly been WoW. (DO NOT turn this into a WoW bashing comment fest, or I'll get pissed) I've just been enjoying hanging out with my guild, having a good time, and just bein' silly. It's occupied a majority of my free time as of late. As a result, I haven't done much beadwork, and I haven't been on here or any IM clients much. I'm sorry if I've been difficult to get a hold of, though nobody's really clamoring to get at me. xD

I'm open for commissions and requests and all that, so feel free to leave 'em.

But yeah..sorry if I've been quiet/distant lately. Just been busy killin' internet dragons. I will crank out some more beadwork at some point soon. Just don't go thinkin' I've abandoned you guys. I haven't. You all mean the world to me.

So, this is totally unrelated to anything whatsoever, but I wanted to post it. It's 2:43 am on a Wednesday. What do I care?

I figured I'd post a brief something regarding why I'm a wolf, and what my species means to me. It's nice to think about it once in a while. It may also satisfy some curiosity as to how Fuzz was developed.

So, I've been a furry for a good chunk of my life at this point. Almost half of it, really. I'd always been a furry. I just wasn't able to attach a label to it until I was about 15 or 16 years of age. I don't think it's all that uncommon a thing- I always like anthros more than humans. I read stories, I enjoyed the cartoons, etc. etc. I didn't know there were others like me. Ultimately, I discovered the fandom through (no shame here) the porn. Foxxfire, to be specific. I remember finding his gallery, and basically doing a O_O kinda thing. It didn't take me too long to discover the furry fandom after that, and all the..wonderful things it had to offer.

Anyway, relating to Fuzz specifically..he actually began as a joke. Like everyone else at that time, I was BIG into Pokemon during my middle school years. Everyone had the cards, the games, was talking about it, you name it. I started finding chat rooms online that talked about Pokemon, and I spent a good year or so at Pokemongn, chatting it up and making a name for myself. I was char64 back then. I then migrated to Charmander31's Pokemon Chat, where I spent a good 5, 6 years doing god knows what.

Now, the big thing at the time was to have 'wolf' in your chat handle. Not for RP, not for character purposes..just 'cause wolves were popular for some reason. Me, being the sarcastic dickwad that I am, decided to create the handle BigFuzzyWolf to essentially go 'O HAI GAIZ I'M A WOLF TOO DURR'. I never thought anything of it. It wasn't a character, it certainly wasn't a fursona. Amazingly enough, the name Fuzz has stuck throughout the years. It certainly doesn't fit the fursona (he's more of a "don't look at me funny if you want to live" versus the "Use me for a pillow" type).

Now, relating back to earlier, I was a typical horny teenager. I wanted to cyber. It was awful. Looking back, it was hilarious. I was farting around on the BFW handle one day (it started to become more of a permanent thing, I was known as being rather silly anyway in the chat), when this BlackWolfDarla logs on and starts chatting to me. She said she wanted to cyber. Oh baby. She wanted to do it as wolves. Wat. Error. Being persistent in my pursuit of e-vageen, I complied. Holy fuck, it was awkward. Holy fuck, it was amazing. It was pretty much an epiphany for me at that point. It felt..right. I never saw Darla again.

So, Fuzz began to develop very slowly over the years. He really came into formation as a fursona when I was almost 18. I joined yiffy.net and became quite a well known member there. He was pretty much the same wolf he is now, as he was 5 years back. I have some new markings perhaps, but he's been constant otherwise. He's matured and grown like I have.

The real wolfish side came into play, I realized, about 2 years ago. I can actually blame for making me realize it. I'm very protective of her, if you hadn't realized, and she made me see it. All she said was "You're being territorial, 'cause you're a wolf!" and that was kinda like..well, a sudden realization. She was exactly right. I possess a lot of the traits that wolves do, and I'm happy about that. I am extremely loyal to my friends. I have a pack mentality. It's emotional instead of physical, but it's a valid emulation. I'm a predator. I don't do bullshit. I'm quiet, but intelligent. Nobody fucks with those I care about. I just feel wolfish..I act wolfish, and I have a wolfish voice. I just wish I wasn't the fat nerd living with his parents. <grins> That'll change soon.
