Apparently bead prices have gone up. :(

I haven't placed a bead order in a long while- my recent brief spurt of internet fame 'caused me to use up a lot of my supply. Placed an order today- it was about 30% more than I'm used to.

Not too thrilled about it, but there's not a lot I can do.

As a result, I've jacked up prices another $.25 - hopefully won't be a big deal, but urgh.

I know this isn't exactly the furry classifieds, but I figured I'd post here before dumping it online.

A while back I had to swap phones/carriers because Sprint hates me. Thanks to you guys, I was able to upgrade. Because of that, I'm left with a pretty much new Evo Shift that I used for a few weeks at most.

It had no cosmetic damage at all. I'll clean it with some rubbing alcohol and q-tips, but it's basically new. I believe I have the box/manual and a charger laying around from the first unit I had that I would include.

If you're interested, please make me an offer. I wouldn't mind selling this to someone around here. Feel free to refer this to anyone- I could use the cash at this point.

The phone itself is through Sprint- I'm not at all versed in dealing with hardware like this, so I'm not sure if you can flash it for other networks. Clean ESN. Formatted. It has a 2 gig memory card (microSD) installed.

Well my wallet got reamed out today.

Apparently the postal service raised their rates on international shipping. It was usually about a third more than regular shipping, and sometimes almost double.. not a big deal, I tended to accommodate for that in my charges.

Anyway, I give my sister-in-law my packages to mail out (some of you got notes recently that I shipped stuff out) and she just took care of them the other day. The bill on the two packages that went out? Sixteen fucking dollars.

What the fuck? Since when did it cost that much?! It was two envelopes to Canada for fuck's sake!

So..obviously I'm not gonna charge those two people extra..but shit man, I only charged $7 or so for shipping on those envelopes..meaning I ate $9, which was nearly the entire value of one of those orders.

Fuckin' super. Seriously.

I basically need to triple my current shipping rates for international orders, because the postal service can suck my dick.

If you live in Canada, or pretty much anywhere not in the continental states, you're international. Expect to pay a shitload for shipping.g I'm sorry!

If I could do something to make shipping rates not so fucking expensive I would..but I'm kinda screwed here. Not too thrilled about this, but ugh..ah well.

So I was finally able to get off my ass and go out craft shopping the other day.

Turns out Perler came out with a neat little idea for the beadwork. They call them 'motionators', which is a fucking stupid term, but they're essentially hinges for bead sprites. If there was some sort of part to a sprite you wanted to move/rotate/turn, it would allow you to do so. Also, they had flat little stands you could display your sprites on. I'll try and find a link to them at some point.

I didn't purchase any, as I didn't think there would be much of a demand for them at the moment. That being said, if anyone was interested in having a sprite with a moving part, let me know! I might go grab a package of them at some point. I wish I could bulk purchase the stands though..I would love to have a display of some of the smaller sprites.

Also, I found some awesome backings for my coasters. For anyone that doesn't know, these beads make -awesome- drink coasters. My standard ones come in just a plain back backing, but I found some awesome patterns that I think people might like around here. You can check out the patterns here. The upper left black foam is my standard stuff.

If you want a specific pattern on a coaster when ordering, just ask! Otherwise I default to black. Don't forget-- any sprite you order can have a foam backing applied to it for a small extra coast. I will happily apply any of those patterns as well, though it might be tricky for larger sprites.

Just wanted to address one or two things in this journal for anyone interested.

First, and most obvious, is that I'm doing another clearance sale of all my sprites! You can find it as my featured submission, or for the even lazier, here. Instead of offering a flat rate on stuff, I'd like you to make your own offer. It's a bit of an experiment to see what people think my stuff is worth. If you see something you like, send a note my way! I'd love to move some of this stuff outta here.

Secondly, I have updated my pricing page yet again. No real changes to prices have been made, but I have clarified shipping so it's easier to read, and clarified descriptions of other things. The updated page can be found here. I am going to experiment with offering foam padding on sprites now. I did it on one or two projects and it seemed to work out. For a few dollars extra now I will attempt to add padding on sprites for ya. It's experimental for now, but we'll see if anything comes of it. The foam I use is the same 2 mil black craft foam I use on my coasters. If there is an interest in it, I will grab other colors too!

Finally, offering a shout-out to an artist I found the other day. He does absolutely dirt cheap sketches and the quality is pretty awesome. You can find him at -- you won't regret it, promise!

Sorry I've been so quiet lately. Been heavily looking for work and trying to get my life in order. Beadwork has taken an aside for the time being.

..you ever had that feeling where things just weren't right? You can't quite put your finger on it, but something in the air isn't right.

Today is one of those days. I don't know what it is, exactly, but I'm feeling uncomfortable at the moment. I'm not sure if it's because of friends, because of the weather, because I'm stuck at home..I just don't know. Things seem to be okay. Internet is steady, house is warm, parents aren't upset or anything..but I'm sitting here anxious as hell for no real reason.

It's almost as if I feel like people are angry at me. Is someone upset with me? I know of one person today that I've upset, but that's a private matter I won't discuss on here..but I don't think that's what's causing this.

Urgh, it's a shitty feeling. Hopefully it will pass without incident, but urgh..

AWESOME I LOVE MY INTERNET IT SUBMITTED THE JOURNAL BEFORE I POSTED ANYTHING.

Anyway, I need to be brief here.

My internet shit out on my over a week ago. Apparently a cell tower went down and Sprint sent a crew out to repair it. I have had absolutely zero internet or phone service since before Thanksgiving. This means no e-mails, no texts, no IMs, no web access, nothing. It sucks.

I'm on my parent's dial-up connection right now, but only for a moment. I just wanted to let people knwo why I've disappeared out of the blue. I'm still alive. I'm doing okay. I just have no internet. I don't have an ETA on when I will be back, either. Shit fuckin' sucks.

To those that I owe commissions: I will be in touch with you once my internet is restored. I still need to grab some shipping information. Don't worry though- your stuff will get shipped out soon. Blame Sprint for this one, folks. I have no idea how long it takes to fix a cell tower- I don't even know what the fuck happened- but it's been 8 days now.

I've closed the emergency commissions for now, and am basically going back to my normal routine at the moment.

For those that don't know, I'm being cut off from my phone and internet services as of the 7th. This really isn't good for me. I live in a very rural area. I don't have ways to stay in touch with the outside world otherwise. I'm also friends with a lot of you out there- if I lose my service entirely..I really won't be able to stay in touch with ANY of my friends out there, which will lead to some not so good things. I've been stressed out enough as is.

In doing some research for any sort of alternative, I've settled with Virgin Mobile. Their plans will suit what I need. The only problem is that the initial cost of the phones is quite high. I haven't been working a lot of hours lately, and as a result finances are extremely tight for me. I am focusing first and foremost on my bills here..but I am really hoping that you all might be able to help a guy out.

I'm aware that there are people out there who need money for rent or food and do a similar setup at this..and in that case, I would certainly help them out here. Phone and Internet certainly can be seen as luxury items nowadays..but I mean, let's face it..we all use the internet a lot more than we really like to admit. I would hate to just up and disappear..I don't want to abandon you guys. It would help my sanity and it would get me producing a lot mores tuff on here, especially since you all provided some great feedback when I needed it.

So, yeah..I'm taking emergency-ish commissions. I'll even throw a bit of a discount on stuff if you're willing to order something. I'll open up like..10 or 15 slots and just crank out whatever. I need to raise a little over $100 to get myself back on track here. Any little bit would help, even if it's just a dollar or two. Anything would be great.

So I need some inspiration here, folks.

The reason I haven't been producing much bead art, and therefore losing watchers is because I just don't have any inspiration at the moment. I feel quite awful because I know a lot of you enjoy seeing these sort of creations and enjoying the nostalgia it all brings along. It makes me so happy to help you all relive those happy times.

The problem is that I just don't know what to make anymore. I've touched on most of the classic series I can think of and the ones I've personally enjoyed growing up. I'd really like to know what YOU, the watcher, want to see!

This is essentially a glorified "I'm taking requests" journal..but really- I don't know what to make. I really want to get back into beadwork as it's a very relaxing hobby for me. I don't know what to make..so I'm asking you all! Got a series, a sprite, a character you want to see? Do you have an idea for something else I could do? I'd really love to hear it.

Any sort of feedback you can provide would be awesome. I want to start creating things again, and I want to revive this page so I'm not just sitting here. If you can give me any information, I'd really be grateful for it. Thank you so much!

One of my typical status update journal thingies.

I haven't been to work in like..3 months. It's drivin' me crazy. However, I should be going back either this week or next.

The oh so awesome will be visiting shortly. Can't wait to see him for some hot Borderlands 2 action.

I got totally sucked into Guild Wars 2. I'm playing on Sorrow's Furnace as a Charr warrior. If you need a guild to be a part of, get in touch with me! I can probably get you into an invite to Absynthe. They're the guild I've been a part of for many years. I'm a pretty high ranking dude in there.

As for beads- I've had a very very large sprite (~8800 beads) 90% done for a month or so now. I'll be finishing it at some point so you all can see it. As for future projects, I'm thinking about doing some Earthbound sprites or maybe some Team Fortress 2 sprites- any interest there, you think?

Other than gaming..just been hanging out, doing some more Let's Plays on YouTube, and hanging out on F-Chat a lot. Y'all should join me at some point.

I have revised and updated my pricing policies as reflected in this journal.

Prices of all of my sprites have dropped $1 across the board. Larger sprites are still priced individually. Furthermore, I erased a LOT of not needed information and hopefully cleaned up the formatting a little bit so it's easier to read. I just wish people knew the damn page existed in the first place.

One of the bigger changes, and something I wanted to specifically bring up, is that I am now accepting payment via PLEX or ISK, the currency in Eve Online. If you happen to play that game and you want some beadwork, I would be happy to accept space cash instead of actual cash. Read about it on the journal if you'd like more information.

First of all, lemme say thanks to those who've commissioned me the past few days. I've really missed doing beadwork and it's an excellent motivator to start doing it again. I've been pretty tight for cash lately, as work is not giving me any hours. It's been leading to bouts of depression and anxiety, having nothing to do and not really having financial stability. Other things in life have been getting at me as well..but I'm getting over it.

Anyway, just wanted to let people know that I'm alive and well and all that.

In regards to the whole "I'm gonna read erotic fan fiction" thing-- I made a really obvious, unfortunately realization the other day. FA only allows uploads of 10 megs when it comes to audio files. That's fine and dandy, but it would mean I can't actually upload that much at any given point. It would mean I have to..I don't know, post a sample of audio and then upload it somewhere else with a link in the description? I have no idea how that would even work. The idea is still in the pipeline, though.

Other than that..not much to say. I'm taking things one day at a time. Hope all y'all are doing okay in this heat. It fuckin' sucks. Stay safe, stay cool, and stay..furry? I don't know.

So I've been running this idea through my head for quite some time now, and I wanted to run it by you folks.

For those of you that know me pretty well, I have a rather nice voice. At least this is what you folks tell me. :D I don't like many other aspects of myself, but I've grown to enjoy it as well. I've even been told by a few random strangers on YouTube that I blantantly arouse them. They weren't joking.

This got me thinking..

Does anyone think there'd be an interest if I was to perhaps..try my hand (paw?) at reading some more..erotic stuff? I've never really done this sort of thing before, but I would love to give it a shot. I have no idea if it would be hilarious, sexy, or some horrible combination of both.

I'd probably focus primarily on gay stuff, as I wouldn't wanna read female dialog in my voice. That'd just be wrong.
