General | Posted 11 years agook so i dont really celebrate birthdays due to family related stresses but my friends are undeterably sweet and give me "conveniently timed presents that arent birthday presents" and that's really sweet imo. i mean, im trying to ignore the fact that it's my birthday as much as i can, but it's nice to know that even if it's not a special day for me, the anniversary of my birth is somehow special for other people.
my friend drew my inquisitor for me and he's so!!! beautiful!!! you can see it on my touyhou.se over here. it's the first image and it's so good. im so happy, this really got my day off to a good start

Oswald.
2. Do you know why you were named that?
I gave the name to myself. I was not always Oswald, but my previous name is irrelevant. I am Oswald now, and tis all that matters.
3. Single or taken?
I feel not a need to pursue romance. I have my adoptive family, and tis all I need at the time.
4. Have any abilities or powers?
Like all other dreamies, my tail produces a dust that encourages healthy and peaceful slumber. Aside from that, I have been taught to wield a blade and shield.
5. Stop being a Mary Sue!
I find the concept of a "Mary Sue" to be pointless and detrimental to the creative process of artists pursuing a passion. I encourage you to stop using the term altogether, if not simply to guilt people into conforming into your creative standards.
6. What's your eye color?
[Getting irritated] Can you not see them for yourself? Your eyes seem to be in fine condition. Lest you are colour blind, you would know my eyes are blue.

I have my adoptive "mother". I see her not as family, moreso a platonic companion, but I suppose she is the closest I have to a family. She is well respected by those who have an ounce of sense, but the Lady is much like myself and is a target of hate from those who do not understand or acknowledge our lifestyle as valid. Tis a result of stupidity. She needn't worry, I am an adept body guard. No harm shall come to her.

I suppose, given the fact that I am the purchased companion, I would qualify as the "pet" of the household. There used to be small felines roaming the property, but they have slowly dispersed.

This interview and your attitude. When you're not around, I'm not fond of strangers- particularly human strangers- and children. Loud noises are discouraged and respect is a requirement to spend time in our manor.
11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
I spend much of my time honing my skills in combat, but aside from that duty I enjoy taking breaks for slumber. I'm very appreciative of the Lady for educating me in the ways of literature and indulge in both reading and writing on an active basis. The Lady occasionally takes me with her to events, primarily featuring and hosted by other nobles, and as such sees a need to teach me to dance. Though... I am not the best at it and often... abscond from my tutoring.
12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?
I have hurt many. My hand is that of justice, and I see no reason not to bring it down upon those who have done wrong. Not many listen to words, but many listen to iron.
13. Ever… killed anyone before?
Yes, and in the process I have brought justice to our land. They had their chance to repent and chose to decline. I am not at fault for their sins, and God's judgement will see their souls properly punished.
14. What kind of animal are you?
I am a dreamy. I would not consider my species an animal, as we are- as a whole- intelligent, but tis a matter of personal preference.
15. Name your worst habits.
[Blushes a little, furrowing his brown and frowning.] I... have a habit of chasing birds. I have never caught one, but I would like to hold one. The Lady says I'm going about it wrong, but how do you catch a bird if not by force? The creatures distract me very easily at the worst of times. I suppose I need to work on my focus.
Aside from the pressing matter of avian distractions, I have a tendency to pick at my cuts and injuries and forget to sleep.
16. Do you look up to anyone at all?
Yes. Lady Ayers has many admirable qualities. She can stay calm in many situations that I cannot, settle disputes with words, and she is very kind. She has a gentle and noble demeanor that I cannot obtain, despite my efforts, and her compassion is endless. I admire her greatly.
There is another, as well, that I respect. She is of my kind and uses the name Tia. Her tail is longer, and as such produces more dust. She, much like the Lady, is very compassionate and generous. ... Dragon fruit dipped in chocolate or honey is one of the greater pleasures in life.

im sorry
im kind of bummed because im about to start gender therapy/transitioning, but the therapist doesnt accept my insurance so. im going to be paying 100$/visit out of pocket. which is a lot for a minimum wage worker. im a bit stressed but im gonna pretend im simply disappointed in order to avoid panicking. so sigh.
