Upcoming "for fun" project for the ladies
Posted 13 years agoTo any and all MARES whom are watching me. If you are interested in participating in a "for fun" project coming up. Please note me your email address so i can send out the detailed info on it.
This is a voluntary participation deal. You can either draw yourself or commission someone else to do it for you.
It's going to be a Classical Pinup style, so this is more erotic and sensual than pron or smut.

What programs do you use for getting MP3's?
Posted 13 years agoI'm trying to find a reliable MP3 source for those nights when you're listening to radio and hear somethign you just love!
I use to love bearshare, but it seems that network is slowly dying, much like the original gnutella network did. I've tried Ares, but it's slow as crap. Edonkey seems to still be up, but it's worse than ares when trying to get things. You can find it in search, but it takes nearly a month to download. Shareazza is ok, but I hate the fact that you can't turn off uploading when your bandwidth already straining at times. and don't bother mentioning Kazaa if it's even up still, much less Napster. Frostwire has moved away from mp3, and morpheus is having some sort of crisis in which it connects and doesn't. And limewire had it's nuts cut off a couple years back, so it's gone.
So what are all of you using?

The Neverwas Haul needs your help
Posted 13 years agoPLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, go to
dreaddenimpirate and ask her alll about this beautiful Steam Punk house on wheels. This is something she is very proud of as
nauv (her husband), Nauv's father, and friends all built this! They currently have it entered into a contest to win some money to help revive/re-model it and show it off more. The contest is through a company that makes bearings, which The Neverwas is in need of, and is doing it's voting system by using your email address to solidify each vote. Granted this is a company that deals mainly with larger manufacturers you will not be getting any spam off them. I can vouch for this as I voted awhile back and have not seen one email from the company, other than to verify I voted. The Neverwas is in desperate need of votes though people, as currently a handheld robotic sphere from Norway is seriously kicking their butt with more than 2 votes to everyone 1 that the Neverwas has. Please send as many people as you can to vote for The Neverwas Haul. There is a video of The Neverwas Haul on the contest page, by all means watch it as it's roughly 5 minutes short. The button to click on to vote is UNDER THE VIDEO. Do not use the one at the top of the site as it will take you elsewhere.
The link to the contest is here:

SL and Blender for mesh
Posted 13 years agoDoes anyone know how to do mesh in Blender with the new version? I've been in the SL forums and they only have instructions on how to do it with the older version and none of the freaking processes or features are still named the same. So i'm lost right now as how to do this. My 4 attempts so far have gotten me close enough to the upload phase, with what i think is my target model...but it bombs out at that point. I have no idea if I still have too many vertices, points, prims, polygons, or facets...or whatever the hell it's called.
I just need help please?
And if there is an easier way...i'm all ears right now.

Posted 13 years agoI'll be moving into a new place over the next month. If I do not answer anything for anyone right away, please be patient. I'm going to extend the deadline for my project till the end of the month. As I do not know if I'll have internet in the middle of the month. The whole process will be starting on Friday of the upcoming week. It's when we get the keys to start moving in.
Watchers
Posted 13 years agoOH WOW....I actually have 88 people watching me? I don't even draw...I barely meme anymore...and I'm totally surprised by the number of watchers. I can only say thank you so much to those people whom have watched me. Sad part is, as I was looking over the names. I did not recognize half of them. So that tells me I never thanked those people for watching me. I can only guess that their watch notice was meesed up during the FA server upgrades, or when the all the hamsters take thier breaks and cause the servers to go down now and then.
Either way, I'm grateful for the watches!.

MLP:FiM prefferences
Posted 14 years agoIs there some account on youtube that everyone is watching for the new episodes? Everytime I do a search, I have to do 2 or 3 variant spellings just to find the EP. I don't get the HUB channel where I am, so I can't watch it myself.
Little movie called "The Whale"
Posted 14 years agoSeems a small movie company made an indie film in Seattle, Washington. But only a few places in the US and Canada are getting to see it. They don't have the advertising budget to get to the other states. So they are hoping to find people on the net whom are interested in the film to help spread word of mouth to others and to theater managers to pick it up and show it. If you've never heard of it, the links below will help you. Here is what they are asking people to do...
Thanks very much for asking about getting THE WHALE into theatres in Tampa.
We will start working on it right away, but we also need your help.
Here are some of the things you can do to help - any or all are helpful!
1. If you have any friends or relatives in the places where the film is
already booked -Bellingham, Washington, DC, Toronto or Vancouver -- and
would like to help spread the word, please let me know by replying to this
e-mail. We will send you an e-card to forward to them. If we have good
turnouts on the opening weekend, theatre managers in other places are much
more likely to agree to show the film.
2. Get as many people as possible to click the "Get THE WHALE shown in
your city" button on our website, www.thewhalemovie.com
<http://www.thewhalemovie.com/> and ask for the film to be shown in your
city. It's like voting. We need many people to ask.
3. Call, email or go to your favourite theatre and ask the manager
there to show THE WHALE. If the manager is interested please forward their
email address to me at suzanne@mountainsidefilms.com. Get your friends to do
the same!
4. Reach out to all your contacts on Twitter to help spread the word
about THE WHALE. Not sure what to say? How about something like: "I'm trying
to bring #TheWhale #RyanReynolds to my town. R U? http://bit.ly/ckray0 "
5. Tell all your Facebook friends about THE WHALE, and encourage them
to watch the trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrrVDQEz5L0 and to
request it in their hometown. For updates, "like" our Facebook page,
www.facebook.com/thewhalemovie
The bottom line is that it's all about numbers. We're up against big studios
with huge ad budgets. So the more people who know about the film, and ask
for the film, the better!

Again, many thanks. With your help many people will have the chance to see
THE WHALE and get to know the amazing little orca called Luna.

Personality test...
Posted 14 years agoCentered
You often feel balanced and on top of things, even when those around you are freaking out. You're in a pretty good state all the time, and not subject to drastic mood swings.
You don't usually react before you think; you're not ruled by your emotions.
Prudent
You look before you leap, think before you act, consider what you're about to say before you open your mouth to speak; that's why you rarely have to eat your words.
You usually don't get excited easily or blurt out the first thing that comes to mind without considering the consequences.
Calm
You rarely become irritated, generally accept people as they are, take things as they come, and feel relaxed in most situations.
You do not let a minor annoyance escalate to a confrontation. You don't regularly snap at those around you or fly off the handle with little provocation.
Unflappable
You are not a slave to your emotions. It takes a lot to upset or unnerve you. That's why you're a good person to have around in a crisis.
You don't let it all hang out, which means that those around you often don't know the pressures you're under or what you're going through. You're not the kind of person people run from in a crisis.
Scrupulous
You are an honest, fair person. You don't lie or cheat to get ahead. You treat others with respect and hope for the same in return.
You do not feel that you are above the rules that everyone else follows; you are definitely not willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead.
Upbeat
You enjoy being around others and others enjoy being around you. You have a "live and let live" attitude; because you know that no one's perfect, you are forgiving and happy to give the benefit of the doubt.
You don't feel the need to be controversial or express contrary opinions all the time. You see no reason to go around rubbing people the wrong way.
Responsible
You fulfill your obligations and responsibilities, are true to your word, and generally obey the rules. While the majority of those who have a high score on the "responsible" trait enjoy traveling, they are usually very happy to return home — and don’t mind staying put for a while.
You're opposed to making hasty decisions, you don't insist that you're above the rules, nor do you feel compelled to color outside the lines.
Optimistic
You are a "glass half-full" kind of person, always on the lookout for the silver lining. Your happiness is contagious, which is why others like to be around you.
You do not feel that the world is an intrinsically depressing place; you are not the kind of "realist" who thinks that only fools find joy in life.
Steady
You are a reasonable kind of person; no one would describe you as a loose cannon. Even when everyone around you is losing it, you can be counted on to keep your cool and offer calm guidance.
You do not regularly get bowled over by your emotions, nor do you make a point of showing everyone exactly what you're feeling.
Innovative
You come up with a lot of ideas; if one doesn't work out, there's always another waiting in the wings. You often have interesting solutions to difficult problems. You're practically a one-person brainstorming session.
You are less interested changing the world than in dealing with things as they are. Unlike those who spend all their time trying to solve problems, you prefer to zero in on things that work and stick with them.
