This all happened really suddenly, but I feel like I should let everyone know.

This morning my iPad Air 5 suddenly started acting up.
All I did was press the power button to unlock it. The battery percentage showed up for a second — and then the screen just shut off by itself. After that, it wouldn’t respond at all.

Even trying a force restart gives me a completely black screen.

I’ve scheduled a repair appointment for noon. Since it’s a refurbished unit I bought online last June, I’m not sure if it’s still under warranty.

I just really hope the data is okay. There are some commission files and YCH pieces that I didn’t get the chance to back up yet.

Thankfully, my old backup Air 4 still works.

Sorry to make everyone worry.

*Status Update:

After sending my device in for repair yesterday, the inspection showed signs that the internal chip had been tampered with. The damaged component is the motherboard, and it’s still unclear whether the display panel is completely unaffected.

After discussing it with the repair engineer, we decided to prioritize data recovery above everything else.

As for my backup device (iPad Air 4), its stability isn’t guaranteed either. Even though it was purchased as an official refurbished unit, it has already gone through multiple repairs.

Last night, I placed an order with Apple for a brand-new iPad Air (M2) 256GB + Apple Pencil Pro.

For now, I’ll continue working using the Air 4 and my PC.

A user asked me to entrust a valuation for one thing nine months ago, but then there was no news.
Until the day before yesterday, I received a message from the other party - that was the title sentence.

My grandma passed away last month. Even though her funeral was held last week and everything went smoothly, I still need some time to rest.

Commission Service Update — Official Announcement Coming by the End of This Month.

While pricing remains mostly the same, some important changes have been made to the commission policy. Here’s a brief overview:

1. Workflow update: Sketching starts after the deposit is received.
Honestly, I’m still baffled why I ever chose the exhausting route of drafting first and charging later.
From now on, I refuse to shoulder the entire burden alone — no more draining myself without mutual commitment!

2. On sensitive content & anonymous commissions.
Some past private commissions couldn’t be published due to sensitive themes, which I personally found a bit regretful.
That said, certain platforms are more lenient toward such subjects — or with some tweaks, like creating an alternate version or changing the characters involved, there might be a way to share the work without compromising privacy.
If you’re interested in these alternatives, feel free to discuss them with me!

3. Badges & standee designs.
I’m still unfamiliar with international shipping, otherwise I’d have included printing and delivery in the service package by now.
That said, I can assist in preparing files that meet printing specifications. If you need help with this, we can talk about it in more detail.

但是在服務規範中作了一些重大改變，在此先簡略說明——

1. 作業流程：先收訂金，才開始繪製草稿。
我也很納悶，當初為什麼要選擇先打草稿再收訂金這種吃力不討好的方式？
從今開始，心力損耗不准再只有我來承受！

2. 敏感題材、隱匿顧客資訊的作品發布。
對於一些曾接過的私人收藏委託，有些因為敏感內容而不能公開，我個人難免會覺得可惜。
我知道有些平台在某些敏感題材上有一定程度的容許，或者用異色版、更換裡面的人物，或許可以達到雙贏的目的。
有諸上需求的顧客們，可以考慮看看這些替代方案唷！

3. 名牌、立牌設計製作。
很抱歉我對國際郵務不熟悉，否則最近開始將印製輸出與運送也包含在服務中。
不過，也許我能協助完成提供印刷廠商的檔案，如有相關需求可以與我詳談。

大概就是這些了⋯⋯希望這些改變與新的想法，帶來更多的成就。

After the mid-June convention ended successfully, a series of unusual encounters led me to resume commission work—yet also reconsider the entire direction of my creative journey.

I may be something of a Curseweaver—🔮
Not one who places curses, but one who senses the subtle knots in fate, and, through quiet intuition, gives them just enough tension to unravel.
There have been times when a reading I offered—Tarot, or Six-Line divination—seemed to shift the course of events.
Some grew lighter. Others, darker.
But never without meaning.

I do not divine to predict the future. I seek only to illuminate the present, to help others listen more closely to their own path.

And recently, as I spoke my thoughts on certain worldly matters, the echoes returned—swift and strange.
It felt like the thread in my hands was tugged by something far greater, bringing me closer to what I now believe is my true calling.

Here’s what’s next:
• Due to personal reasons, commission services will remain closed for a while. A new version of the info will be released prior to reopening.
• In the meantime, I will focus on YCH templates as the main offering.
• There will be significant changes in how I publish multi-page comics, illustrations, and past works.
• To better suit the themes I explore, I’m also planning to expand to other platforms, including Ink Bunny and FanBox.

很抱歉暫停更新了一段時間。
在6月中旬的販售展圓滿結束後，因為一些特別的際遇，雖然我恢復了委託服務的工作，但也想要為目前的經營方向作出大幅度的改變。

我也許是一位Curseweaver（咒織者），因為我偶爾在幫人占卜時，經過個人的評斷後，那件事就發生了反轉（改善或惡化）的現象。
也許有人已經知道了，我會占卜，塔羅牌與八卦都會，只是我不喜歡預測未來，單純幫助別人分析問題、尋求解決方案而已。
而就在最近，因為對一些國際情勢的評判，結果竟然陸續發生了很多難以置信的轉變。這也讓我離自己理解今生的「天職」更近了一步。

接下來我會陸續簡述今後的經營方向：
1. 由於私人的原因，委託服務暫時維持關閉，在開放前夕會發表新版本的資訊。取而代之的，以YCH模版代替。
2. 改變多張畫作（漫畫/插畫委託或個人創作）的發表方式。
3. 因應創作內容，規劃增加經營平台Ink Bunny與FanBox。

I’ve been struggling with this issue for quite some time. The previously recommended platforms all have their own problems, and I dislike the feeling of waiting endlessly without progress. So, I’ve decided to go with a Japanese sales platform that offers similar freedom but has stricter mosaic censorship requirements—such as Fanbox, Booth, or even DLsite.

If heavy mosaic censorship is a major concern for you, the only compromise I can offer is handling orders manually myself.
Though it’s the most tedious and time-consuming option, it’s also the only way to fully satisfy readers’ desires.

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Due to a lot of chores, the new version of the information will be postponed until tonight (currently around 1:40 p.m.).
Here are the changes --

1. Adjustment of various prices:
This matter has been suppressed for a long time, but please don't worry too much. The adjustment is not large.

2. The style Cel-shaded will be replaced by Traditional coloring:

Of course, if you want the Cel-shaded style, it will still be accepted, but the homework progress will be much slower.

3. Private collection, anonymity and variant versions:
This is a suggestion. If the client insists on not making it public, it is okay. I respect the customer's decision.
Some do not want others to know that they are the customers of certain works, and even agree to pay more money to ensure that no third party knows about it.

However, if the appearance and color matching of the characters are changed, can it also be used as a similar way to protect the mystery of customers?
Customers with similar needs might as well consider it.

先簡述一下變更的內容——

1. 各項價格的調整：
這件事已經按捺很久了，但請不用太擔心，調整幅度並不大。

2. 項目變更，Cel-shaded 將被 Traditional coloring 取代：
因為去年整理房間時不慎扭到手，雖然目前已經好多了，但仍然得每半個小時停下來休息一陣子。
因此打算以更接近現實手繪的風格來取代。
當然，你想要Cel-shaded風格依然會受理，只是作業進度會緩慢很多。

3. 私下收藏、匿名與變異版本：
這項算是建議，委託人若堅持不公開也可以，本人尊重顧客的決定。
有些不希望被他人知道是某些作品的委託人，甚至同意多付點錢確保不會有第三人知情。

不過，若是將人物改變外型與配色，是否也能作為相似的方式，來保障顧客的神秘性呢？
有類似需求的顧客，不妨可以考慮一下。
