Ten year FA anniversary

Ranger the other day about how on Aug the 20th was coming up and that it meant I had been on FA for nearly 10 years now.
Now I know in the long run that's not such a big deal, but ten years of furryness and bellies is a bit of a personal achievement, not to mention it's been the perfect time to get back to art too. :3 I was thinking of doing something special for the occassion, but of course ideas are most welcome from you guys. Its the perfect excuse to keep drawing and keep thinking of bellies. <3

We're still alive and doing rather swell ourselves. Dare I say this has been one of the best years in a long time.
Work has been going good, I feel my anxiety start to fade a little more with each passing day. I make phone calls with no issues now, and I can feel more comfortable having conversations with people or even just looking them in the eye. With my mind settling again I been finding the confidence to pick up the tablet pen again. I'm not going to say for certain how long for, but I'm hoping this renewed vigor will last a long time so I can get back to drawing shapes, indents and bulges. There has been so much good art around lately it's really hard not to be inspired. I've started to practice with SAI, it's a difficult learning curb but I'll keep pumping stuff just to see how it turns out on paper, the end result hopefully turning into comic style like vore strips.

Hey sorry, I kinda poofed again for a while. But I swear with good reason. These last 6months have been hell and crazy, so let me fill you in on the juicy stuff you might of missed.
First of all me, Ranger and 
Mackenya moved to a new place. Movings never easy, but we totally had too much junk. Junk we recently just organized getting disposed of, so that's good!
Secondly me and Ranger had to go to tribunal (small court) over our last place we stayed at. As it turned out our landlord was a money hungry tyrant, and tried pinning us with all sorts of expenses and took our bond. She then insisted trying to take more and more, which was resolved after a few stressful months of gathering paperwork to defend ourselves in a small council of law. However, we were able to win and get her off our case after watching the registrar (judge) pull some concerned faces and order an end to her silly greedy shinnegans.
Thirdly I started learning a new position as a cellarman! Again, learning a new job can be stressful so I been taking notes and making sure my duties are taken care of.
Fourthly! *deepinhale for air* - myself and Ranger have also been working out! Nooo not getting all buff, but we've been focusing on cardio mostly. We've both lost weight and increased our recovery, and I don't think either of us have felt so fit for a while. It's been difficult, but mainly just time consuming. I walk to work and walk to the gym, in fact I walk everywhere. Currently I do on average 60-70kms of power walking and jogging a week! It just takes it out of me, and finding time to animate has just been really hard.
And finally I also took a trip back to New Zealand for two weeks back in January and that was an absolutely smashing time, spending time with friends, camping, cycling and having lots of time with my folks while I was there too. Was just wicked all around~
That all being said, I have been cracking out the tablet here and there for some practice drawing. I even made a new avatar! So hopefully I'll be making more nahm's shortly, more tight bellies and more satisfied predators. >:3
Oh and don't ever be afraid to poke me.

The PLAN! (Commission Update)
General | Posted 10 years agoHow are you all doing? I'm still alive and here! (I think) And I just had a wicked weekend that passed at Furjam! It was a pretty sick weekend and there was much chatting and laughter to be had. I caught up with 
m-av3rick briefly and I've been chatting to her since, and I also met 
who was pretty cool too! I also caught up with other old friends and made a couple more new ones as well; I feel much more connect now with the fandom and friend since going and it was lovely to just get out of the house for a change. With that in mind, I was thinking I need to start planning ahead. Start making some goals and plans for whats to come up in the future. So- The plan!? Sounds pretty serious, and I guess in a way it kind of is. But we all need one. I need one myself right now. Everything has been feeling so directionless for too long but I'm finally happy with this PLAN in particular. Nooo I'm not talking about anything interesting or complicated either, not a plan for a thing to build or make. It's just a personal set of decisions and the path in life I'm looking at walking for the next few months.
So as you may or may not know, myself Ranger and Mackenya recently moved to a new place. I'm not gonna sugar coat it was a pretty crap week and it was a pain in the ass. I'm sure you've got to be pretty weird to actually enjoy moving house haha (but no offense if you are that person). With that done we've actually realized we have too much stuff ( or more accurately me and Ranger have too much stuff ) as this property is much smaller. It's still a nice place don't get me wrong, but it's just a lot more ... cozy. We'll have to see to it that we move some of this gear out and most likely dispose of it.
Work has been up and down. It's been pretty good when I get the shifts and I been working hard, but unfortunately I'm not needed on as much as I was expecting.. What little income I been earning I been saving because I have some goals in mind that I'll get back to towards the end of this. With my free time (when I'm not glued to mh4u or dota2) I have been working on the same animation I have been working on for far too long now..
..which, I'd like to mention is finally done now!
Taluthus's commission can be found here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17768614/ if you haven't already seen it before, and it's one I'm personally proud of because of the length of time that went into it. It's the first time I've made an animation of that length with so many characters and it really tested my ability.. it makes me want to keep at this and keep going. I'm not sure what I'm going to learn or discover next when drawing those frames over and over again.. I hope to get as good and skilled at drawing them as I'm able! A big thankyou to Taluthus for commissioning me for the second time. <3
Now this is for anyone who is waiting currently and for when I re-open for future commissions. Once again I'm sorry for my turtle pace of producing work. These animations (especially the long ones) take so long to do sometimes, and I still consider myself inexperienced. That being said, I'm still gonna keep going baby! I want to improve and strive to be a better artist, I'm surrounded by talent and it inspires me to do better myself!
Recently I just passed my RSA (Responsible service of alcohol) and RCG (responsible conduct of gambling) in the hopes of finding extra income at Mackenya's work. The shifts there as well as any I pick up from the factory should be enough to help me get some savings in addition to the money I make from animation which finally leads me onto what my whole plan is. :3
Goal 1. of my plan is to get a new bed! I've been sleeping on just a mattress for too long now and it's starting to cark it >~<; It's doing my back in a little bit and I figured I should save for a nice new one. If this new job picks up I should save one in no time!
Goal 2. of my plan is to save for a car.. The only vehicle I've owned died almost immediately after getting it, and with all the stuff and lack of work and things going on I jsut haven't been able to afford a new one. Getting a new car would be really useful and help me find even more work perhaps more local! Lack of my own transport has knocked me back from sooo many interviews and it's been pretty rough. :(
I'd like to just announce however a big huge massive THANKYOU to my good friend Ranger as just yesterday he bought me a spanking new tablet! How sick is that?! It's a huge upgrade from the old one I was sharing with him, I did some doodling today and found it so much more responsive! Thanks so much man, I've been pretty skint for ages and this just means so much to me <333
As a little personal project I'm going to put on my FA page just how far through I am to my target, I guess as something to just aim towards and feel proud of when I reach it! If you like the work I do on here and would like to help contribute any donations, my paypal is benjamingselby@gmail.com. The purpose this journal wasn't to beg for money, but more just to have it out there so people know if they happen to be feeling generous. Now I have poofed recently because I did actually find employment working for a mailing company in the nearby city. So... that's pretty awesome! Hooray! *Streamers fly down and stuff* And I've been working hard to try and pool money for our move coming up very shortly. Us three musketeers ( Ranger and Mackenya ) have also just had our application approved for our next property we're moving into too! Hooray again! *Even more streamers and stuff*
All that good news said and done it's been a tonne of stress and pressure off our shoulders, our next challenge is just connecting the dots now. Y'know, moving van, getting the utility moved over etc~ So, with that in mind there will be sometime we will be offline and without internet, which I think personally is a great chance to return to this commission list I previously had set up. There are also going to be days during the week I won't be needed packing or working too, more days and opportunities I'd like to take to resume practicing my drawing and working on the animated numming for you guys.
Once again I'd like to say I'm sorry for being slow; I do realize I need to sort out my priorities sometimes and real life can be hard, but I shouldn't let it interfere with producing what I enjoy making for my commissioners. I'll be trying harder over the next few days to focus on the work Taluthus has requested so I can finally start moving down this list. Looking for work really sucks and has been taking away a lot of my creativity. Maybe it's because I'm having to deal with constant rejection again but I feel like I need to just put this out there; it's really been lowering how much I value and think of myself and it has definitely been just eating at what my productive value could be in my art. With a bit more time I think I can get this out of my system, but for now I've been feeling really awful. I seem to only be able to find interviews with employers who either want to pay me far below minimum adult wage ( at which point it's better to just stay on welfare ) or in a sales position which lacks the stability of normal wages and I don't have the confidence to do.
I've started a weekly marketing thing where me and my councilor just go around to places basically asking for work and as you could imagine it just doesn't go down too well, mostly ending in 'apply online' or 'there's nothing here' etc. And at the end of the road what if I'm still not happy? I most likely will be forced into a position that I'm going to hate but might have to keep. There's a lot of things going on in my head now and I'm really sorry for being such a downer.
Now on the plus side I want to keep this commission list and work on it as I receive the enthusiasm and arty... magic feeling you get when you want to draw. We're still moving in about 6-7 weeks so that work and commission will absolutely help with the move. I'm just so sick of feeling depressed and being poor. I haven't felt like I've been worth something or accomplished anything for a long time now.

Vore Animation Slots [CLOSED]

Just another update from me, I'm sorry I've been awfully quiet but I just been working on either homework, previous commissions and keeping myself occupied otherwise playing my vidya games. Anyways, I think I'm just about ready to open for more work again. I have one or two small pieces to do but I decided to officially open right now to see who would be interested. If you're not sure what to expect or what to get, take a peruse through my recent work I've done for other people. It's only line-art and colorless, but I try to add as many frames as I can muster into the movement. Of course it's a skill I'm still developing and working at, but despite the effort's it is a tonne of fun to draw, and a lot of that fun comes from learning and developing these skills too.
How much? Well that can be negotiable. Usually however, I will take into account how long and detailed you'd like your work to be. How many characters, how many interactions... all that good stuff. The money received from this work too will go to a good cause since me, ranger and mackenya need to find a new place to stay within the next two months. I could maybe pay for the moving van and help towards the bond, either way it'll all help. ^w^
I'll be opening for 3 slots. The first slot taken I'll be able to work on within the week. However as your most likely aware animations take time the second and third I will get to as fast as I can. I'm also only opening for 3 because I'd rather not keep anyone waiting too long and I don't want to overload myself.

fatalglory128Vore Animations Update! [Where have I been?]
General | Posted 10 years agoHey everyone! I just wanted to make a quick post just to make sure everyone out there's knows I'm still alive and doing okay! Real life has taken a bit of a toll on me these last few months but finally things are starting to look up! What's been happening you ask? Well let me start with the beginning of this year.
Firstly I did take a trip back to see my parents over in New Zealand. It's not a very big trip but I was there for just under three weeks, seeing my Grandparents who were actually visiting them over from England. This is most likely their last trip too due to their age, so I felt it was super important to see them both before they went back halfway round the world. I hope it's not.. but it could of well been the last time I see them in person. A sad thought really, but it just means I gotta try extra hard to go take a vacation to Britain now!
Secondly my PC broke down!! FFFFFFFF- I was not impressed, and my first immediate thought was losing whatever work I had done on my pc (along with y'know, my porn HAH). Luckily the hard drive was fine, but the cooling unit and Graphics card were gone. With the loss of it and my current financial situation I just couldn't do anything immediately about it. With the help of my housemates mackenya and ranger I was then able to afford to get the parts replaced, and the system was up and running a week later.
Thirdly the tablet itself has been broken! Me and ranger both were sharing his tablet, and this has put both of us out of able drawing for now. To make things worse, we had a new tablet purchased and delivered a week later, only to find that the pen in the packaging had been damaged. So now we have a nice new looking tablet that well.. functions pretty terribly from what I've seen. We need to buy a new one AGAIN and have it delivered which is an absolute pain.
Finally, generally I haven't been very well personally mentally. The friends of mine that I have been talking with have been and currently still are helping me with my problems are fantastic people, you know who you are and I'm sorry you put up with me sometimes haha. I don't know what I'd do without you. In order to try and help myself too I've been maintaining a regular schedule in real life with a councilor and I have just recently started a new course in retail which should help me find and pick up work.
Despite disappearing for so long I want you all to know I will be returning to flash work soon. Once we get our hands on a new tablet I will find time between my assignments to stream and test out our totally much better new internet! :D Also I would also like to say
shadowleaf you are the most patient person ever and I will finish your animation for you soon! I am very sorry to have taken this long in the first place, but I want you to know I will get it done and it's always been on my mind.

It's not a very big trip but I was there for just under three weeks, seeing my Grandparents who were actually visiting them over from England. This is most likely their last trip too due to their age, so I felt it was super important to see them both before they went back halfway round the world. I hope it's not.. but it could of well been the last time I see them in person. A sad thought really, but it just means I gotta try extra hard to go take a vacation to Britain now!
Secondly my PC broke down!! FFFFFFFF- I was not impressed, and my first immediate thought was losing whatever work I had done on my pc (along with y'know, my porn HAH). Luckily the hard drive was fine, but the cooling unit and Graphics card were gone. With the loss of it and my current financial situation I just couldn't do anything immediately about it. With the help of my housemates
mackenya and ranger I was then able to afford to get the parts replaced, and the system was up and running a week later. Thirdly the tablet itself has been broken! Me and
ranger both were sharing his tablet, and this has put both of us out of able drawing for now. To make things worse, we had a new tablet purchased and delivered a week later, only to find that the pen in the packaging had been damaged. So now we have a nice new looking tablet that well.. functions pretty terribly from what I've seen. We need to buy a new one AGAIN and have it delivered which is an absolute pain.Finally, generally I haven't been very well personally mentally. The friends of mine that I have been talking with have been and currently still are helping me with my problems are fantastic people, you know who you are and I'm sorry you put up with me sometimes haha. I don't know what I'd do without you. In order to try and help myself too I've been maintaining a regular schedule in real life with a councilor and I have just recently started a new course in retail which should help me find and pick up work.
Despite disappearing for so long I want you all to know I will be returning to flash work soon. Once we get our hands on a new tablet I will find time between my assignments to stream and test out our totally much better new internet! :D Also I would also like to say
shadowleaf you are the most patient person ever and I will finish your animation for you soon! I am very sorry to have taken this long in the first place, but I want you to know I will get it done and it's always been on my mind.The current list:

During my 25th birthday I got a little busy with personal plans and going away to our mates place 9 hours drive inland to a place called 'Bourooban'. There we got absolutely hammered, had a great time and swam in his lake etc whilst camping on his parents massive property. It was pretty sick! Then, after getting back Ranger had his trip down to his family's in Melbourne and he took his tablet (which I've been using for my work too) down with him. He has however just arrived back and it's pretty awesome to see him again, so the plan is I'm gonna stream tomorrow. I should be able to get through most of

I swear these things pass by faster and faster the older I get..
ANYWAYS, it's been a pretty interesting few months. I feel like I'm more in touch with the online community and I've made some good friends too, awesome people with similar tastes in not only video games and humor but vore as well. >w>; I have been role-playing a lot more with people too and I have to say I don't think I've felt better or more comfortable with doing it. It's always been fun and the new friends and people I know are fucking fantastic at it. Other than that I have been idly gaming and animation between breaks. I feel like it's been very challenging too, redrawing things over and over again until i feel like I'm comfortable with it, with the aid of ranger's tablet of course!
Also my slots are closed for now too unfortunately, I have a lot of awesome work lined up here and I'm gonna widdle the list back til I free up some room.

Firstly I just wanted to say that this past week or so things have been a little rough, but I think I'm coming to the end of it now. Yes I've still been animating and drawing, but I feel like I have been neglecting some responsibilities I should of been committed to, and for that I'm sorry. However, on the bright side, I've knuckled down and done most of them now! (Woo streamers and shit) One of those last responsibilities I owe to t-man101 in which I'm in the process of completing; and I must say it's a lot of fun to do.
Secondly- I still have slots for animations! I have been asked for a couple of requests and ideas, but unfortunately I'm only doing requests for friends at the moment. But if you'd like to buy a slot I'm pretty lenient on the price and I'm sure you can bargain with me for something cheap. I'm pretty easy going. =}

I'm still lacking a lot of confidence but thanks to my good friends and partner I've been praised and pushed on to keep doing it, and I gotta admit it's a lot of fun. With only one piece left to do for t-man101 which I'll crack onto ASAP, I'm looking to do more work right after!
A few things about the slots:
-I'm only going to take up to 5 right now as this as I am inexperienced with taking work and I don't want to overload myself; however that being said I might possibly open for more depending on the amount of interest.
-I won't accept any payment until I have sketched a basic chibi/stylised version of your character that you are happy with, or I send you a piece of the animation and you think it looks swell. Since I'm still green at this the artwork might look a little too boiled down for your taste, and I don't want to rip anyone off of make anyone unhappy with my work.
-It doesn't have to be vore either, if you wanted something cutesy or basic like snugs, being pounced, something that loops; hell request it!
PRICING
I've decided to charge $5 AUD per one second of animation (10 frames per second, so that's $0.50 per frame). This works out very close to what I was charging earlier, however if you want a long complicated piece of work I'll be charging accordingly. I know I have a lot to learn in the way of making pictures move, but I still put a lot of love and care into each and every frame, and there are dozens upon dozens of them. This also includes up to three characters. Anymore and we can discuss an alternative pricing. If you'd like color, it will depend on the complexity of the characters and the setting as I will need to re-draw each frame once again.

So firstly I wanted to say that I haven been having so much fun animating little vore sketches in flash with little silly loops and buttons and what not, and there has been so much support from my friends to keep and it and keep going. Ranger, Taluthus, a few others and especially my dear Amaya_the_wolf <3 have really inspired me to keep going at it despite how I feel about the work sometimes, and at the end of each piece I'm glad I did stick to it and finish it before moving onto the next. I've had a few requests and as much as I'd like to do all of them I've only done a couple as each piece takes a good chunk of time to do. (As I suppose most art does haha. Bear with me I'm new to this!)
To the point, I've made this journal to say that I'm going to stop the requests for now and see if anyone would like to purchase animation slots for only $20 AUD each. I understand I'm very new to this so it could be a lot to ask for since I haven't had nearly as much practice as some of the pro's out there, but for this mere price I will sketch up to 200 frames of animation which takes normally about 5-6 hours. It'll be a great way to develop some of my own skills and also earn a little coin on the side, as well lets face it; we could all use a little extra cash!

A long time

I'm now where near Christchurch anymore, but I have moved on! It's a new place in Australia, and I've been here for about a year now. I've somewhat forgotten about FA, I don't draw, I just game, but I guess this profile deserves an update. I've met people, good and bad, and had experiences form which every person who grows up needs to handle as they are all invaluable.
Just as an added comment, Syndey is heaps nice, and I hope to post more updates more frequently rather than every 3 years~!

~Beginning of the End for 2008~
General | Posted 17 years agoIt's about to hit December, and for this entire year I've felt that I haven't done anything productive. I lost my job about halfway due to a sickness I picked up from a mixture of chemicals and stress, rendering me more useless than an umbrella with holes in it, or a book on how to read or... e.t.c. Bah! But hey, I have had a lot of time off work, and a lotta time to think and do nothing. Head strong, I feel better, even if I am less fit and more lazy than i was. Our own New Zealand Con had just kicked off last weekend, which went very well, about 40-50 people turned up, and I forgot my jacket. :D For our own little country we really had a fun and exhausted time for 4 whole days. My next goal is arranging a little town furr meet and making sure that goes well, after going down South to see my 'mate'. Following up that with Christmas, New Years, and then my 19th Birthday January next year. However, let's all try and make sure everyone has a fun and safe December this year; since it sucks being upset, depressed or bored, during the end of 2008. :3

General | Posted 18 years agoHa! I am now Finally 18, which I suppose is a good thing. I hope I don't waste this year like I did with the last. Not enough art produced last year, but I am gonna get a new Computer, be a big step up from what I am at now ^ ^.

General | Posted 18 years agoYes, I havent been very good at keeping this "journal" oftenly updated as I would like to, but I see it as rather just lazying around.... oh er, living I mean than writing what I do down. But I thought Ill give out another to add to the small collection. It seems that it is mid year now (bloody cold here) and I have been invited to many game fests and tourneys. Now I know my charming personality and skills are deserved for such competition *coughs*. Nah, jokes, :D, but I am in the nation clan for Counterstrike Source for the mod gungame. We have had a lot of tough rivalry and opposition, but Im sure that the <OK?> clan can cut it through. Secondly I have been whinging about a few things around from time to time (as british do, its our job) but one of these things i have been whinging about is that there have been no furrs in my area. Alright, many people got this problem, but then I found one....no two.....no wait....three?......how about four?.....no......five?!
That definiately surprised me. And it seems I am going to meet one of them next week. Apparently there are more cats here than anything else.......but the guy I am meeting is a bat. Wootage!

General | Posted 19 years agoExcellent. Its the holidays, but I'll have to move back to my house during them as I have to babysit my sisters. You see I live at my friends house. But! General | Posted 19 years agoWell, its the weekend tomorrow....wohoo! It seem as though each week passes incredilbly fast. Its getting closer to the NCEA ecxams. I have been busy "studying"and doing other things to pass the time, I completely forgot to do more drawings to post up. >.< Anyway, its been about five days I have been on this site, almost a week. Give me something to celebrate about. I also better continue my story otherwise I'll never finish it. #1st entry, not long but good enough. Stay well everyone. Bane (^< !
