Posted 14 years agoA few people out there know that I write fan-fiction. One of my fellow writers contacted me for a story/art swap that is coming up in the next few months. It's fairly specific in terms of audience, but I figured I'd spread the word where-ever I go.
It's for the Naruto fanfiction, Naruto and Itachi to be precise. The writer is aiming to coax people to write and to share their stories for this pair.

Homework - Meet Smut

I find it funny, and a little exasperating, that anytime I pull paper out from the pile, I have to check if porn has already been sketched/inked/doodled on it. Or has stains.
You think I jest, but I assure you - that is one of the hazards of printing homework in this house.
Lesson learned? Stash a separate pile of white paper somewhere else. Duh.
Implemented? Naaah... I like to live dangerously.

And I finally got around to finishing page 5.
If I am to continue colouring, I think I'll just do flats. Cuz holy geezus I take forever.
On that note - page 6 should be coming out relatively soon. Much sooner than two months anyway. Gaah... two months? *cringes* How have I not been receiving hate mail? Thank Yawg that the story can continue on via sketches and his fans don't have to wait for me.

Posted 14 years agoI've been told I lead an interesting life, but I never expected to be hyper on coffee and kaluha on a Wednesday noon stream for furry not-quite-there-yet-porn.
The stream started at about noon and stretched on until half past 1 am. Livestream cut the stream twice, not once.
Anyway, the highlights? Oh go see the WIP. To explain - coffee and alchohol made for some interesting scribbles.
Also - my friend Kennedy dropped by and that accounts for at least a half an hour break. Then she stuck around to watch me colour in Samus' hair. For something like an hour.
When Yawg got home - she and he talked for a while. After she left Yawg was on the mike for a bit while I ate pizza. Then he gave me ice cream. With more kaluha. Not my fault.
Resulting in happy singing to muppet songs. Not my fault. But much fun!
There was some talk about the upcoming AC as well as whether or not Canada was warm enough to have ducks.
The stream started off quiet, but there were a fair number of guests that dropped in to say hi. Shujin and Snickt even dropped in twice. I got to see Trunks for the first time in.... months? The regulars made their way in and proceeded to laugh as I apparently giggled drunkenly.
So yeah. Hi, I'm running on four hours of sleep on a 21 hour day. (My writing friend is still up and demanding opinions. Apparently, she wrote a scene just for me. *sigh* My life is so hard.)

And colouring has obviously not been happening. Yawg pointed out that the comic pages are not supposed to be as pretty as the cover. I had completely forgotten that.
It was supposed to be: flats, one shadow, one highlight. Done.
*rubs back of head* And as anyone who has been around on my streams to hear me count out the sheer number of layers I put into my colouring and my complaints about Jenny's hair... that obviously isn't really the case.
Well, tonight is a bit late, but tomorrow I will start a stream. And we'll see if I can burn through one page in a day.
Starting say around noon my time? So, in 12 hours and 45 minutes.
That gives me enough time to dick around and fiddle with the mike.

Yawg had a brilliant idea of wrapping the books in bundles. About 4/5 of my library is in clear wrap now.
The kitchen is basically packed; the office, mostly. The living room is a disaster zone of full boxes, bags, loose empty boxes, and I think I've lost the cats.
I don't think there will be another stream before we move. Considering how much we still have to pack and the move is tomorrow noon.
Um... in 24 hours actually. *panics a little*
Yes, we know there wasn't a comic out on Wednesday. No, we are not dropping it. Yes, we'll have it up ASAP. No, we're not really sure when we'll be online again. Yes, Yawg still has net access via phone. No, I'm not jealous - I swear.
Any other questions - comment here or at Yawg's question thingy. We will have our computers online until probably tomorrow morning. Whether we will check FA while we are packing... dunno.
