i'm trying to crank out art for artfight, but my wrist is starting to hurt really bad so i'm gonna.... slow down.... i'm fearful of overworking myself and taking myself out of commission for too long, i really wanna do well during artfight this year!
because of this, i'm gonna take a day or two without drawing, and then try and pace myself more after that. :(

hhey guys sorry i've been gone for so long... i haven't had too much time or motivation for art tbh..? i've been like, seriously revamping my... life?

so mu roommate is a hoarder and he never cleans, lemme preface it with that. my wife is at work a lot, and it was already like seriously messy when we moved in, so like... i'm triggered pretty badly around mess and clutter, i want to clean then see all the mess and get overwhelmed and my brain just kinda short circuits and i end up squirreling myself away in my room.

lately though, i came out of a depressive cycle angry, and i started fury-cleaning. that was like... a week ago? i'm still going.
i've cleaned out the whole freezer and organized it with bins and i'm planning on doing the same to the fridge. the under-sink got the same treatment.
i took everything off the counters and cleaned them, thoroughly cleaned the appliances, put back only what we actually use and put the rest in storage. cleaned the stove.
washed all the dishes and organized the cabinets.

and i've started on the living and dining area. i'm gonna clean up the media center and put up shelves to organize the games and dvds, and throw away all the broken junk that's filling up the dining room, god dammit.

anyway that's where i've been! i can't live in this mess anymore, it's actively harmful for my mental health. (:

Well. My laptop charger bit the dust last night, and my laptop died.

The worse news? It might be the charger PORT. I tried a friend's charger and experienced the same issue (it just kinda, pops out).

As such. :) I can't do anything until it gets fixed. I'll be messaging everyone I owe art to. I'm. So sorry?? God this is shitty timing.

Asdfghjkl it's my birthday today! A whopping 21 years old. Level up! Now I can legally order alcoholic drinks at restaurants. My fav breakfast place serves a mimosa that looks absolutely grand and I've been dying to try it.
And the $$ from family is goin' right into bills and savings hell yeah.

My irl friendos are planning on taking me out somewhere so that's super sweet of them.

i'm not sure how many of my followers are aware, but i'm a little bit obsessed with bees. right now, i have seed packets on the way to plant bee-friendly flowers, and i have both a bee shelter and a bee waterer in the works.
we need our bees.
