General | Posted 8 years agoHey guys, i've been pretty busy in real life, but i'm working on a few things here and there.
1) February cookies will be mailed out tomorrow. The next batch (March) will be lemon sugar cookies with a real lavender flower glaze :3 If you want in on that, pledge on Patreon ($15 or $20) to receive 1 or 2 dozen cookies, respectively, in the mail. patreon.com/budgiebin
2) I'm working on a few pics right now. Scene for my husband, Valentine's portrait for a friend, some cartoon birds, and one or two smaller pieces floating around.
3) I need to take a few commissions to help pay rent. This week I'm offering a discount from my usual rates for a limited palette challenge, where I take 4-6 colors and use them in a character portrait. Good time to play with the possibilities of alternate palettes for your characters, or maybe we can make a new character together! I'm asking $25 for portraits this week, $30 for cell shading. 4) Alternatively, I bought a new brush pen, so I'd like to practice using it. I'll do 5 sketchy ink portraits for $5! I'll try to finish within half an hour of acceptance.

budgiebin for some especially toony full-body shots for $15. I'm thinking about setting up some dragony adoptables over here before long. Or some TF adoptables. Other likely ventures include portfolios for download.
So I guess I'll open for some pay want you want commissions here, for now the more fun or silly of a concept the more fun i have with it, wouldn't mind more in the way of TF, egg-laying, and so on!

General | Posted 8 years agoSo, immediately after I said I'd be here more often, I had a complete whirlwind of a month where I just had to prioritize some other things for a little while. I'm back, hopefully in full force this time, with a full website nearing completion and some goals in mind for 2018.

No longer using Patreon (hi there i'll be here more often)
General | Posted 8 years agoI'm closing my Patreon. It hasn't been a successful venture, but it was worth trying. During 2017, I've gotten a good idea of what my friends and audience like, so I'll continue to move in that direction :) Clean work will now be posted to my main account budgiebin. This name will remain active, however! In fact, probably a lot more active. Hi there.
I wasn't able to do very many Inktober prompts, but I want to continue working through the prompts anyway! It was fun to work in real media again and I think I'm going to continue focusing on it. I want to color a few of them.

In other news, i'm gonna be more active here this month. Got a good backlog goin' on, been nice and productive.
