Due to issues that the owner/leader is currently experiencing,  MelsAlterEgo will be less active with the group until further notice due to loss of her computer. You can read about everything in her most recent journals, but to sum everything up, her father intended to move in with her and her husband, ended up bailing on them this past Monday, and they couldn't pay for the cost of renting the computer this week. This is because they had used their money to catch up (or attempt to) on their other bills, under the belief that her father would be assisting them when he moved in.

As such,  Varathael and  Luircin will be managing the group for the most part until her return.

I am working on making a list of artists with info on their commission prices, terms, and do's and don'ts.
If you would like to participate then send us a note with your info =)

Please note that this journal with the list will be updated as I get new info. The journal will be placed on the profile
page, for all to see. Once in a while I will make a signal boost for people looking for artists to commission.

Just keep in mind of the new FA policy, so spreading the word of this group is never required.

I spoke with and the group is safe. Updates will be made once or twice a week.
I will be working on a list of artists with commission info and add to it every time I get new updates from them.
This list will be linked on the main page for all to see.

Sorry for being distant as I was unsure of our standing due to the new policies but as long as we do not
spam journals we are fine.

So I am trying to find out if this group will have to be shut down now. The new Site policy pretty much makes this idea spam.
I'll inform all of you if this group will be able to continue or not...

I am simply checking in, and also here to say that if you guys know of an artist from your watch list that has been struggling
either by getting commissions or having any other issue as far as getting the proper shout outs. Send us a link in this journal.
We will make some more signal boosts for them in hopes of more people seeing their posts. I hope that we can help others in need out.

Hello and welcome to A Helping Hand, I have created this account in order to help artists in need of recognition. You see there are alot of artists out there
that are overlooked and are mistreated by the community. Many artists on this site are wonderful people and have gone through many struggles in their life.
I myself am one of those said artists, and so I want to dedicate my time to other artists as well. Rather you are struggling with life issues, art issues, or you just need a good signal boost we are here to help. Need commissions, would like to trade, open for requests?
