How It's Going
General | Posted 2 years agoWowza, it's been nearly a year since the last journal!
Life can change a lot in such a short time. I'm now happily settled in with a boyfriend and living in a much better environment than a sharehouse with dodgy people. As for work, it's been a bit unstable and I learned how inconvenient it is to sprain an ankle!
I've improved a lot in art, so expect to see some new additions to my gallery soon. Time to start drawing dragons more often and stop neglecting this profile!

Self Discovery
General | Posted 4 years agoIf you're reading this journal, you're probably discovering me right after I discovered myself.
I have just gone on a journey of self discovery. After repressing myself for years, I've come out as gay and am starting to get involved with this community that I've tentatively browsed for ages. This feels elating, finally ceasing my self loathing and diving into my interests without self doubt and internal conflict holding me back. I like scalies and am obsessed with reptiles.
As for ordinary life, I just started my honours at uni in environmental science. It's incredibly different to being an undergrad and there is so much to learn on your feet, it's kind of overwhelming. It feels good to have a purpose and goal again, after sitting through the holidays listlessly.
I am very PM friendly if you want to talk. It wasn't long ago I had nobody to communicate with and had to reach out myself.
Having a presence on this site and talking to like minded people is all really new to me, so the normal way of life on FA is still really jarring to me. Please keep that in mind if you send me any messages. I am open to talk about nearly anything, but let's make sure we're on the same page first.
