Okay guys so I was gonna buy a mic for like 140 bucks so I could record songs more frequently and post them here, but this morning while cleaning up my amp and guitars I notice that my amp has a usb port so im like "I wonder what this is for." So I plug in a usb cord and run it to my PC and I figure out that I can record directly from my amp into an audio interface program. Just felt like sharing this bit of info with anybody who cares xD

A while ago one of my friends told me about this awesome manga called Beck aka Mongolian Chop Squad. It's about Yukio, known by his friends as "Koyuki", is a regular 14-year-old Japanese boy who enters junior high school with two childhood acquaintances. One is a pervert, and ironically the other is a highly sought after female student. Koyuki's boring life is changed when he saves an odd-looking dog, named Beck, from some kids. Beck's owner turns out to be an emerging rock musician, Ryūsuke Minami, who soon influences Koyuki to start playing the guitar, and even gives one to him. The story focuses on the trials and tribulations of their rock band named BECK, and Koyuki's relationships with the members of the band, in particular Ryûsuke Minami and his sister, Maho Minami.

After reading this I started seeing music in a different light which ultimately urged me to practice guitar in hopes of getting somewhere in life with it.
