Just a small announcement to let people know that I'll be closing my comms for a while to get stuff sorted.
Once I open again, I'll be increasing my prices a tad.

Yes! I'm still alive!
Took a little break from uploading and have been slowly clearing out my commission queue.

I wont bore you with the details of the life stuff, essentially I'm in a better position financially now and I don't need to stress myself out with commissions anymore. That being said, I'm going to start sticking to a limited queue and the completion time for commissions are being extended. I want to start focusing on my own designs and feeding more stuff into my Patreon, since I've unfortunately been neglecting it for a while now.

Other than that, I'm going to start uploading again real soon, got a nice backlog of stuff so be prepared for an art dump!

G'day everyone!
You may or may not have seen my recent submission, but I have opened my comms again and we're back in business! I had a good 2 month break, enjoyed being able to put my ideas on paper and have the time to finish them. I think from now on I'm going to start pacing myself with work and try to take these breaks more often.

I still have plans to open a Patreon, I just want to make sure I have some special types of content that would make it worth subscribing to. That being said, I have a pretty big project I have planned, something that I'm trying for the first time in my life, so I'm both excited and nervous about it. I'll be collaborating with a couple of other artists for this project, just to lighten the load a little (And because they're just way better than me at what they do xD). Alas, it is still very early stages, tons of concepts and learning ahead of me, but I'm really passionate about it and I can't wait to have something substantial to show everyone!

Other than life stuff and mental health, of which I wont get into, I do believe that's everything covered!

Once again, thank you all for your patience and understanding! Seeing people enjoy my work and reading the comments on my posts really brightens my day!

G'day everyone!

Over the last few months, I've noticed quite an increase in comm traffic, all thanks to some networking and extra advertising and whatnot. It's great that I'm getting more business and having the opportunity to meet so many great people! But unfortunately I believe I've bitten off more than I can chew, my workload has bloated substantially, my motivation has taken a hit, and customers have had to suffer delays.

So, what am I gonna do about it? Well the most obvious and simplest option is to close comms, which is what I'll be doing. This will give me time to finish off the commissions I have queued, as well as work on some personal projects I have planned. I'll still take on mutual comms and I might release a new adoptable here and there.

The other thing I wanna run by you guys, what do y'all think about me starting a Patreon? I've talked about years and years ago back when I was a little fish artist, but the idea never really took off. I would like to start doing short comics, so maybe that'd be something I can include on my Patreon. I dunno, what are all of your thoughts on that?

Lastly, I just want to once again thank you all for your support, and for those commissioners for their patience! And to my friends, mutuals, server members, and amazing Boyfriend. Thank you all for being big influences on my day to day life, I look forward to what the future brings!

Just thought I'd let everyone know what's been happening in my life as of late. Some of you might have noticed my upload schedule has been dwindling a little, and some recent commissioners might have noticed my wavering attention to detail. So the deal is that I have been struggling with my mental health for pretty much my whole life, the kicker is that I've only just recently sat down and thought "Maybe I have mental health issues". It's nothing too crazy, just some lifelong un-diagnosed ADHD, of which I've always just chalked it down as me being lazy and easily distracted. Very recently I attended my fourth appointment and the doctor took one look at my school reports and stamped me with ADHD, which is a good first step since now I can take actions to stop the symptoms. The downside is that my test results show my liver isn't doing so well and the doctor wont prescribe me anything until I get my liver a full makeover. So now that I've scaled one mountain, it's time to scale another.

I'll get there eventually though, and I thank everyone who has been supporting me. All my friends and commissioners who have been super patient with my dumbass, I can't thank you enough!

It's been a little while since I wrote up a journal!
For those who don't follow me on Twitter, at the end of October I will be visiting America for a couple of months! I'm super excited and looking forward to meeting my boyfriend! Because time is moving so quickly and the trip is only a month away, I want to put a discount on all of my commission in order to raise a little more spending money. It's been a little while since I last posted a journal on FA, mostly because nothing of significance has happened since the last time. So I thought I'd give you guys who don't follow my twitter a little update!

So I've recently got a new job which is good now that I don't have to rely solely on commissions to stay alive (though commissions are still more than welcome!). Oh heck! It was only a month ago since we hit 1k on Twitter, now whilst I was "sleeping" we surpassed 1k watchers on FA!
Since I can type more here than on twitter, I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me up to this point! I know in the eyes of the big shots with hundreds of thousands of watcher and followers, that 1k is rather measly, but to me that's huge and a clear sign that over a thousand people like my art enough to keep up-to-date with my uploads! My only wish is that I could've received this news in better health, don't worry it's nothing serious, just a cold that's knocked me into submission for a week.

Recently my job has been denying me work and in response I have decided to resign. So now I have come to the conclusion that I'm going to focus my time solely on art and commission work!
Upside is I can now keep my commissions open far longer and I can pump art out at a faster rate!
Downside is that commission work will now be my only source of income until further notice, which also means I will need to increase my prices a tad.

Unfortunately my mental state has taken a small hit, but I'm hoping with some RNR and some drawing, I'll be fine for the long run!
