It’s time to end a chapter…
I’ll try not to drag this out too long, so I’ll aim to just hit the main points of the things I want to say…
So…. After over 7 years, I will be no longer considering myself a “babyfur/diaperfur” and be stepping back from the ABDL fandom as a whole.
This isn’t some brash decision, I have been spending the last few weeks carefully deciding whether I should do this or not… And honestly, it’s not surprising of a decision based on my behaviours over the last year.
My ABDL interests have essentially flat-lined… I don’t really engage with these interests with others anymore (such as talking about diapers, engaging with very ‘babyfur-y’/‘diaperfur-y’ art, taking IRL diaper pictures, talk about hanging out with other peeps doing IRL ABDL things, etc, etc), and I don’t feel a desire to start these engagements with others in the ABDL fandom…
I did try to engage with these interests a bit more (even attempting another AD account) to see if something would stick, but that fell flat and didn’t feel right with me.
And honestly, that is fine… I acknowledge that the ABDL fandom is based around certain key aesthetics with a certain interests, and these things just simply don’t click with me anymore. The only interests I do have left are so peculiar (and hardly count as “babyfur/diaperfur”) that I can’t really engage the fandom outside of a few selected individuals.
Because of this, I feel it’s my time to let go of my role in the ABDL fandom.
So what does this mean? Am I leaving the wider furry community as a whole and disappearing off the face of the planet? No. I will be sticking around the furry fandom as a whole, and I will be friendly towards the babyfur/diaperfur fandom, open with interacting with them and not having a problem with you wanting to share ABDL interests with me. It’s just for me personally, I just don’t identify with these terms/things anymore.
As for my art? I will continue to draw anthros/ferals in nappies, but in my own special way in the style/aesthetic I enjoy and what makes me happy (a double-down of what I said in a previous journal).
So yeah, despite me no longer associating with these terms anymore, not that much changes with me… It’s all really about making these decisions much more concrete rather than the ‘wishy-washy’ and ‘back-and-forward’ attitude I have had towards these ABDL interests… It’s a done matter now.
Just to address one last point… Does any of this have to do with the recent controversies in the fandom? Not really, stuff like that unfortunately happens in a lot of different spaces, so it’s nothing new.
Other than that… Yeah…. That’s it. That chapter is over for me. I know I never played a significant or notable part of community, but I do appreciate the folks who do take the time out of their day to read my silly little problems and reach out to me, you guys are awesome.
Going forward, I will adapting to my new identity outside of the ABDL fandom and be presenting myself in a fashion that now reflects that fact, both in terms of my online profiles and future interactions… And trust me, I have plans and ideas I am excited to expand into.

TLDR: To describe my new identity in the fandom going forward, I would consider myself a toony furry with minor babyfur interests, not enough to no longer class me as one but not zero.

Of course, we all grow and try to find our way through our own lives… Sometimes that is simply closing a chapter and opening a new one.

will you still be able to draw babyfur pics in your prefered style for others. just curious.
I always tend to overcomplicate an idea with what i draw in terms of setting or poses and make comics way too long, you draw simple stuff now and are a good influence on me, I also liked your art you occasionally did of diaper plush too,
