This is extremely important. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT work or make any plans for at least two days after you get it. This thing is brutal and will bring you down.
I got it yesterday and put in to work 12 hours today because nobody at the vaccine clinic bothered to warn me about the gauntlet I was about to go through. Fever, chills, cramps, joint pain, numbness and tingling, headache, nausea, dizziness, very fast heart rate. The side effects of this vaccine feel like when I got H1N1 back in 2009.
I want to be painfully, excruciatingly clear here: YOU SHOULD STILL GET VACCINATED! I am not saying this to deter you, but to forewarn you.
I don't know how my day would have gone if I'd spent it at home, in bed as opposed to working my ass off for 12 straight hours. It probably still would have sucked, but orders of magnitude less.
Set up your appointments for your second doses on a Friday, or just before you have a few days off...or take a few days. Don't do my stupid shenanigans.
