Cancelling Commissions

"A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success." - Unknown.
So the title says it all... Unless you have heard otherwise from me, I will be cancelling the commissions in my queue.
I do apologize wholeheartedly, I was trying to avoid making this decision for as long as I could believing I can get my large commission queue done... But it's just not feasible for me in the end, and it wouldn't be fair on you guys to be waiting so long for your commissioned pictures.
So why did I take so many commissions in the first place? Well... I wanted to stay open for 24 hours so anyone could get a chance to commission me no matter their time-zone. The result is that I ended up with around 2 dozen commissions. I didn't take any payment for them before-hand, so it was entirely just a commitment from me to get these pictures done on time.
Immediately after I accept all of those commissions, I was already beginning to experience problems getting these commissions done... I struggled to get a handle on my new 'toony derp chibi' style which caused the first set of delays... Then my IRL job started getting hectic between late September - December, meaning I had even less time to complete my commissions.... And Finally, but also honestly... It didn't put me in a great place... My fun hobby became a second job with that stack ton of commissions, and I felt I had no free time anymore... I didn't want that.
Will I do commissions again? Possibly, but it won't be until later next year... And I will be imposing much shorter commission queues (2 or 3 slot maximums, allowing for quick turnovers), but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
I do want to end by saying I am assigning zero percent of the blame on my commissioners... You all have been awesome, patient and haven't been unruly towards me over the last 4 months. However, I do understand if this does deter a good number of you to never wanting to commission me after this mishandling. I should have managed this a lot better.
Again, I am sorry for these cancellations.
Kind Regards
Billy

Art feeling like another job is definitely no fun, I've felt it, and am very grateful to not have to take commissions like I used to. I hope you feel better soon <3
