General
Just a general journal I can point to for commission infoooo
--$90 per pic + $35-45 per additional character + $25-35 for detailed background.
--Simple un-detailed backgrounds are usually $15-20.
--Complex details may incur a small $5-10 charge more, usually for either intricate, complicated patterning, wings, complicated background details, intricate designs, or such, or for details such as an internal view or extra closeup panel or for background objects that aren't a full, detailed background.
--Additional characters are charged based on the degree of them being in the pic and the detail and complexity.
--In general, rule of thumb is that less than half visible will be $35-$40, more than half visible will be $40-$45.
--Stuff like a face or body part poking from a maw in a vore pic or from underneath someone, etc, will be $10-25 (faces tend to be the more expensive here).
--Small micros in a macro/micro pic may also be less due to generally being less detailed than a full-sized character.
Inset panels (that aren't just closeups of something already drawn in the main pic) are usually minimum $15, potentially more depending on the detail and complexity and characters in the panel.
Alt-versions are usually $5-15, dependent on the complexity and changes. I usually only tend to allow one alt-version (all dependent on how big the changes are, multiple with only small changes are okay).
I don't do private commissions (though anonymous is fine) but private alts are acceptable, my rule of thumb is that I need to have at least one piece that's postable.
Please be aware, your slot is not guaranteed until we have agreed on the picture, price, and details! I may turn down your commission depending on the complexity of the idea or characters and how comfortable I feel drawing it, please don't take it as a personal insult or such! It's most often simply a case that I feel I wouldn't be able to draw your idea and/or character(s) well enough and thus don't feel comfortable taking money for it when I feel I won't be able to draw it well.
Furthermore, if you say you'll take a slot, then leave me hanging without warning waiting for details and to finalise them while others are waiting then please don't be surprised if the slot has been taken by another.
I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time, with a partial refund depending on how far into the process we are, if you've paid.
The more detail you give on your idea, the better it will come out. For example, "My character doing X" gives the barebones but doesn't tell me much that I can work off of. Any particular pose you have in mind? Any particular angle? Expression, mood? Is he wearing anything, any particular designs or colours? Do you want any text or dialogue? If there's a background then where are they? What do you want the focus to especially be on, etc? The more detail you give the better I can draw something to your liking I CAN'T stress that enough, please give as much detail as to what you want, what will make you enjoy the pic the most, what's inspired it, and all. Something like a little MSpaint sketch of how you visualise the composition is insanely useful.
Please have an up-to-date reference or at least some other pictures of your character I can work from. They don't have to be masterpieces, I just need to know your characters' designs and colours. If any details have changed, be sure to tell me. If there are details about your character not visible in the reference pictures but that will be in your commission (markings on their back or such) then please tell me!
Once a cleaned sketch is finalised and agreed on, I will send an invoice. Once payment is done, inking and colours and then shading will be started. I will give a WIP to check with you at each stage, to make sure there are no mistakes or problems, although you are free to ask for a WIP anytime if you want.
Please already have the money when you get a slot. I can give some leeway, but asking me to wait to the end of the month or until you get money coming in from whatever source will just lead to your slot being given to someone else who can pay.
As a general rule, solid no's are:
Underage/cub
Gore
Breasts/vagina (if visible in the pic)
Humans
Ferals/quadrupeds (except taurs) - possible exception for dragons most of the time, again on-character and on-idea basis
Anything to do with toilet stuff/filth (scat, watersports, farts, etc)
Explicit fatal vore and hard vore (this relates mostly to outright references to death, dying, killing, and such. Implied via euphemism/text or via skulls, etc, is fine)
Graphic/visual digestion/melting (implied is fine)
Reference sheets (pls no)
Comics (pls super no)
And finally, please do not commission me if you or anyone else involved in the pic are under 18. I will permanently blacklist you if you do so.
