I saw the movie Bridge to Terabithia today. It was alright but felt rather depressing near the end.
But somewhere in the beginning or middle, I saw something in the movie...myself. Yes, those two kids are almost exactly like me. In my days in elementary school, middle school, and my freshman year, I've been made fun of and harrassed just because I was different. I was and artitist and a writer and I still am. These days, people don't tease me anymore which is good but all those hellish years changed me for the worse. I was changed from a happy young girl to a cold spiteful person.
When I got home from the movie I just went in my room and bawled quietly. I didn't know if it was PMS or something else...I don't know, I really don't know...I wish someone would tell me.
