Eight years ago, Val and I met for the first time in person at FurFright. It was the first time either of us had gone to a con. In spite of the fact that we started dating only a couple of weeks later, it was also the last con we attended together...until now. FurFright is now Furpocalypse, but this weekend the two of us are back in the same hotel where we first met nearly a decade ago. It has a pleasing symmetry to it.
