Okay I hate HATE Traffic Court. What a mind numbing waste of my life. So I had court this morning at 8 fucking AM for a bs seat belt ticket I got about two months back. I was driving through down town bowling green and I initially got stopped for 40 in a 35. Well I had my wallet in by left back pocket so I undid my belt (after pulling over) and got my wallet. The officer asks me the usual stuff "License, insurance and registration", not a problem. So I do the usual sit and wait thing and about 15 mins later the officer comes back to my door. "Well im going to give you a verbal warning on the speed but im going to sight you for not wearing your seat belt"...... wait what???? "Officer I was wearing my belt I took it off when you pulled me over so I could get my wallet out". Officer "well when i initially saw you driving i didn't see your belt on (im wearing a black shirt with a black seat belt), and when I came to the window you didn't have it on"..... "Well officer as I said I took it off when you pulled me over to get my wallet out". "Well I didn't see it so im sighting you, if you want to fight it your court date is at the bottom here, and I need you to sign here". So at this point im like Fuck It, I sign it and get my copy. "Have a nice day sir and drive safe", Ya i'll do that officer.

Now I have nothing against police officers I give them major props for the job they do and the shit they put up with. I myself have been on the fire department as a volunteer fire fighter/emt. But I hate when I have to put up with piddly shit like this.

So on to today, I got home late last night and got to bed about 4am. I was back up at 7am and took care of my dogs, ate and showered and was out the door to my fun couple hours at court. I get there, sign in and take a seat along with like 30 other people. Of course my appearance in front of the judge takes me all of 2 min's to plead no contest and get my fine and leave. But then again I was forth to last person called up and I had to sit through people taking like 20 freaking min's to decide what the hell the wanted to plea or if they needed a lawyer or how long they needed to pay. I mean F*$kin Christ people know what your going to do before you get up there and end this misery for all of us. So ya court start at 8am (surprised it was on time) and I just got back home at 11:15am. Ya that was my fun morning.
