Chapter 2 update. Upcoming demo.

Hello everyone
Really sorry i haven't updated you on progress here. Truth be told there hasn't been much to report so news has been a bit slow regarding Chapter 2. New job has stolen most of my time and recently I've started to get a lot of responsibilities too.
But now I have some news!
Demo
I've been working on a demo page, both to tease what to expect in chapter 2 as well as help me test some new functions and get a working template of sorts.
Its about near completion, give me a few weeks or so, just needs a lot of polish.
Expect a short little event on one of the islands you'll be exploring in the upcoming full chapter.
Chapter 2
As for the full release, I cant say i have much of date yet. I crunch the fastest and hardest during my vacation times. That's going to be in autumn. But I'm not so confident I'll finish the chapter by then yet.
I know this is slow and many of you will probably forget this thing exists or loose interest before the time Chapter 2 is out. But so it goes.
Awe design competition?
Oh... I'm still tossing around the idea of putting up an Awe design guidelines for anyone who want to make their own Awe.
Perhaps even hold a competition about it that will see the winners design be put into a character for the story.
Just not sure how I'd go about and do that in the most fun and fair way.
I've been tossing around the idea to expand the general Awe look with some fur-patterns, rather then the mono-colored coats and brown manes for everyone. Nothing extravagant, but perhaps some faint tabby stripes or bicolor markings. Inspirations from the types of looks you might find on Cats and Dogs.
What do you think? Are they good as they are or do they need something more to diversify them rather then personality?

I'd definitely put in an entry into that competition!
As for the Awes, they certainly are cute as they are! But I do think that some extra little markings or such would go a long way to diversifying. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

As for the Awe competition, that does sound interesting. If I had art skills then I probably would enter. As for the new fur style idea of being based of the simple cats and dogs, that sounds like a good idea as long as people keep the right colors instead of something like neon pink.
And yes, there'd be guidelines for colors.
Also markings for different regions, could be fun, yes. Even if it's just something subtle, like, one region can have belly freckles, or another typically puts some stripes under their eyes using makeup.
As for my interest in Awewold, it is very true that I often forget about it, but whenever I see a new upload I say "wow that thing was really cool and I got really into it for a while." So I do wish there was more content about it in general.
Could give my paw in a try for the Awe designs too :3
