Forgive my bad english.. heh.. here's a extract of a conversation that i had on MSN with a popular artist friend about a popular latinamerican forum today

they can pass the "adult check" thing of the site.. but that's the
reason why a site have moderators on it right?"

like 27.. old enought i tough..i told him the situation, i gave my
advise to keep more control, not becose i don't understand a kid
watching porn for curiosity.. becouse we as adult have to follow
some rules... it's against the law after all...

A moderator is supposed to "moderate" the posts on the forums.
It's what they're hired for.
I suppose I could find this site and start reporting it all over the place, but I think personally I'd rather let children find good, wholesome furry porn on the net then go out and have sex to get rid of their little urges.
I put a mature picture on deviantART and someone was angry because they could see it. I marked it as mature so they must have marked themselves as old enough at one point. It was annoying, because they yelled at me for not protecting underage children when I already HAD. >_<
Mira yo soy moderador de un foro acá en uruguay y tenemos muy en claro esos problemas, tenemos secciones para gente de 18+ y solo se puede tener acceso si se le presenta a un moderador una identificación en forma personal o uno de los moderadores de confianza sobre la edad de el usario antes de concederle acceso a una zona que esta protegida con password.
Es muy difícil mantener a los menores de edad fuera de ese tipo de zonas, como bien sabemos el sexo llama y el sexo gratis llama el doble.
Es muy fácil hacer un foro o un imageboard y dejar que juan pueblo entre a ver, bajar o subir lo que se cante pero como siempre se tienen que atener a las reglamentaciones del país donde se tiene alojada la pagina, si esas personas responsables no les preocupa es lo mismo que la nada.
Muchas veces no es la gente menor de edad que busca imágenes de ese estilo si no muchas veces son los adultos que las exponen sin ningún tipo de cuidado.
Si te acuerdas te envié una foto de una billetera que estaban vendiendo en mi ciudad la cual tenia una imagen de tu page de Ben 10 donde estaba el sentado al pie de un árbol y al lado de el estaba la prima embarazada, eso solo se puede pensar que fue con animo de lucro y sin ningún tipo de cuidado por el significado de la imagen misma, así que cualquier joven que maneje un poco internet con hacer una búsqueda ya puede encontrar ese tipo de material y en cantidades industriales.
Es una pena que ese esa web no tenga un mínimo de responsabilidad pero creo que nunca faltara algun padre o madre que les haga alguna denuncia y su web la cierren de la noche a la mañana.
la verdad no soy mucho de foros y esas cosas peor algo si me queda claro la iresponsabilidad simepre trae consessuencias, bine es cierto que no poedmeos controlar el acceso de gente "menor2 en l ared y menos ahora que casi todo munod puede accsesar una PC peor lamenos no contibuir a caos lamentables como ya a pasado
