OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BOY am I Angry.
I won't go on too much, but basically my laptop was preloaded with Windows 10 Enterprise instead of Home, which has made it impossible for me to activate. I've been through Windows/Microsoft support TWICE and it was all for nothing. The second time I called, tonight, it was one of the most insufferable and frustration experiences? I already dislike phone calls to people who aren't friends enough as it is.
It all lasted for more than an hour, had to ring up several times due to things on their end cutting out, etc, having to ask them to repeat things because i kept mishearing because lol phones and being redirected several times. They ended up redirecting me to support in the US?? And the reception was so bad I couldn't hear them properly and after ANOTHER redirect they just cut out and basically hung up. That was it for me. Just kinda broke down crying in frustration.
SO UH. That was for nothing and I'm upset! The only thing to do now is to have Home edition installed, which means wiping my laptop. Cool.
And also, since it's under warranty it's gonna end up being sent back to the manufacturer for this?? And I have no idea how long for. UGH.
Look, this isn't the first time I've gotten a laptop with some kind of problem, which makes this all worse. My previous laptop died in 2 weeks of owning it due to a faulty hard drive and I ended up with a replacement.... which also ended up with a faulty hard drive.
Basically I must be cursed because I am clearly not able to own computers that don't have some kind of issue upon obtaining them.
