I apologize to those people who were not responsible for my outburst, I didn't intend to freak you out. I am not, however, going to apologize for my outburst itself, and this is why;
Since I announced and explained I will be allowing people to create their own Kaisura characters when the KRDP site goes up, I have had a slow trick; growing into a moronic flood, of people pushing to make their Kaisuras ahead of time, before the system to keep such requests clean and simple for me to handle. This alone, is highly annoying; not to mention, demonstrates those who did it either pay no attention to the project announcements, or simply do not have the respect for me to wait. Bad.
But that, my dear watchers, is only the tip of the iceberg. The mere beginning. You see I have also had individuals produce Kaisuras without even asking; I've had people ask for permission, then go ahead and make it before I've even replied one way or another! And lets not forget the people who have actually gone as far as taking my own, goddamn, referrence material, manipulating the colours, and sending it back to me as "their" Kaisura!
I have been dealing with this fucktardary for WEEKS. And guess what? Dev snapped. Dev snapped /hard/
Now I'm told by friends of mine, that I shouldn't be putting up with this bullshit. I'm told by my trusted, loyal friends, that I have every right in the world to tell everyone to go fuck themself, and close the project right now.
But I'm not going to do that. Yet.
What I am going to do, however, is put the project on pause until further notice. I'll give it a while, and see if people can behave. During this period, and let me make this perfectly clear: I do not want any requests for permission to make a Kaisura, I do not want notes and emails asking me all kinds of questions about the species, I do not want notes and emails asking me for advice on the Kaisura you're making "for when the site opens", I do not want notes and emails asking me for advice on your creature that's "just based on kaisuras, it's not actually a kaisura" even though it's borderline fucking identical. I do not want /a damn thing/ said or asked about Kaisuras and/or the KRDP.
The project is on pause, and I am taking a break from it. If people can behave, I will return my full attention to the project and bring it to completion quickly. If people can not behave, I will scrap the project, and nobody but those I hand-pick will ever get to make their own Kaisura.
It's really that simple. ^_^
In any event, I am back, and active once again, so things should be returning to relative normalcy :D
nb: I'm not mad. I do not need to "chill". I have explained precisely why I snapped, and where I'm at right now as a result of bullshit pattern behaviors that I should not have to deal with. At this point, I could hardly care less. It's not like I /need/ the extra work of finishing the KRDP. And I sure as shit wont be wasting my time on it if folks are just going to be cockbrains about it. But if folks are nice and respectful, I'll gladly re-commit myself to the effort.

No matter how clear you make the rules, or how loudly you shout, there are going to be feckless people who will go ahead and do whatever they will with no, or little, regard for your feelings.
It's certainly not fair, and I'm not telling you: "It's inevitable, just deal with it" - I'm saying that having to put up with these kind of people is something that comes with the territory and I don't want to see you pulling art or any of your works from the internet based on the sorry, socially-inept morons who populate the lowest common denominator of the internet.
Stick in there! Show them no mercy if you come upon one, but not all your fans are like them.

Sorry if my words are going to sound highly pessimistic when I am usually one to deliver words meant to buoy one up. Nonetheless, sadly and with great regret, I most thoroughly expect that those who are hammering at you shan't stop, and I will have to sit here and hear that this wonderful idea you have, which I personally look forward to for amazingly-good reading material, will fail thanks to morons and fools.
The worst part of it is, simply, that when said happens, I wholeheartedly expect that you shall be flooded with a nigh-unending stream of repeated "Why'd you do that?" queries, written with varying degrees of illiteracy.
I pray for luck that such doesn't happen, while at the same time I formally offer you a raincoat with hat and gas mask (shaped to your muzzle, of course) so you may weather the stink of the oncoming shitstorm.

However, lesson here is People are STUPID. It is about time you learned that simple truth. Moreover the MAJORITY of people are STUPID. Now among out furry community there may be a better ratio of STUPID to Intelligent but I suspect it is still in the favor of STUPID.
So, in closing, good luck and try not to let the STUPID people get to you, because they will try as you have clearly pointed out.
