I never really "liked" him but i did found his stuff entertaining, lately it seems hes just become a caricature of himself cant really watch his stuff anymore.

Those other two names are familiar to me! I don't know many female youtubers. I occasionally watch Commander Holly and KittyKatGaming.

I've never seen these (so ty <3 I'll check them out!) but she's fantastic and does excellent voices, is so much fun.

Well I'd recommend it if your like funny two person lets plays.

I avoid them all. Most of them just give me a headache with how loud they are, and they seem to get pretty annoying pretty fast, but maybe that's just me. XD

Thats what used to turn me off from lets plays to begin with.
That and the stupid jokes that people try to push in. But back in the day,

I used to really lack Jack 2 years ago. He was a lot more toned down and easy to listen to. His Kerbal Space Program videos were awesome.

The only thing I really liked recently was his Undertale playthrough. The first episode wasn't good and was forced, but once he realized what he was dealing with, he seemed to have legit appreciation for the game instead of forced reactions.

His Flowey voice is my head cannon now. He voice acted him well haha. That's probably the only play through I fully watched of his.

It was totally worth it. Like I said, I was hesitant at first since how iffy the first episode was, but by the 2nd episode I loved it, and found his entire playthrough to be the best one.

And yeh, the Flowey voice was especially creepy when he was voicing him for the neutral final boss. Dude sounded like he was going batshit.

I still love Markipliar, but I admit, sometimes I have to take a break from him. I don't think he gets stale or anything, but I do like to watch more then one person, and more then just gaming and Lets play content on youtube.

As someone who thrives on the old school style LPs that originated on SomethingAwful, no. I can't stand his stuff.

i could never stand him anyhow, he always felt somewhat... fake?. pewdiepie was ok back in his early stuff. when it was'nt so much forced faked reactions, and was more genuine.

Personally the only lets-players i can stand are the yogscast(except simon, he's so loud omg), and recently 2 the ranting gryphon started doing them, and he's a joy to watch aswell.

I never seen Mark or any youtubers like him as /fake/ they just wanna entertain us and they try there hardest I act like them when being recorded its all genuine with me aswell and its in that moment I KNOW how they feel we act goofy to get laughs! tho I dont normally post of youtube and its almost all suit videos aswell as almost all is private me and my sister record videos a lot and we laugh our asses off while recording and during replaying the videos what matters tho when watching Mark he seems to be happy hes laughing if he wasnt I would call him fake or if the laugh sounded fake but it doesnt and as said being recorded you change you are more outgoing,more goofy

I love Mark, but recently my attention and love has been stolen by Game Grumps. Something about two people playing a game and talking to each other is so much for interesting than just one guy.

Much more. Danny plays the calm persona so much better than Jon did. Also, his voice is like liquid sex to me.

Oh okay I mean I liked them both tbh mostly cuz I laugh at stupid stuff sometimes and Erin and Jon had me in that aspect. With Danny it's a little of that but it's mostly funny by stories and random jokes.

Danny has funny stories, but he's also a very smart and insightful person so it is super engaging (to me, at least) for him to talk about things that actually matter to him, or the stories that he has.

I never said he didn't. That's what I just said cuz of the stories he and Erin talk about were funny.

Never liked markiplier, lost interest in game grumps when Jontron left. Can't stand Arin without Jontron and can't stand Jontron on his own. The only letsplayers I watch now are small youtubers who do it in the "classic" style

It's more like a walkthrough series; less editing, parts uploaded in bulk or in longer segments, more about the game than about the personality playing it.

Gamegrumps and markiplier tend to edit their videos a lot and upload them in 10-15 min chunks, once a day or every couple days. Lets players from way back when did it more like a podcast with the game in the background

Oh okay I guess I prefer the those over walkthroughs unless I actually need to beat a level then looking for comedic entertainment but that's just mean that doesn't mean I don't like them though.

People like the Grumps send let's playing in a more improv comedy direction. They basically act silly while trying to concentrate on playing a game, and the rest is just being themselves.

I used to watch people like PewDiePie, Markiplier, and Cryaotic, but I stopped because of the same reasons. It felt like they were just trying too hard after a while.

The only LP channel I keep up with is Game Grumps. I have seen the GrumpCade episodes with Mark, and he seems like a pretty entertaining and swell guy. But I guess in those videos, he's mostly being himself, and not the lone screaming PC-gamer we all know him as xP.

I get this vibe from him that makes me think that if I knew him personally, like as a friend or neighbor, we'd get along well :).

I only watch him when he plays games I'm interested in. Games like outlast, alien isolation, soma, ect. Currently he's not playing anything I like so I don't watch. I've seen some of his more recent videos and I know what you're talking about for sure.

Agreed. His new videos are just not as enjoyable as those he made, say, a year ago. It was a pretty fast descent.

Never was a fan of his. He was on the list with pewdiepie of youtubers who weren't great. The only LP I watch is Dashiexp and he's been hit or miss lately. Depending on what game he plays.

I think, when he lets himself go, and forget about trying to be a clown, he generally does well.

When he feels like he can't go five seconds without a scream, it does get tedious though, for sure.

The last video I watched (Emily wants to Play pt 4), he seemed whinier than ever. Maybe he just didn't care for the game, but he is trying to finish it anyway. Doesn't help that he does one part every week or so...

Robbaz, King of Sweden, is funnier anyway. =P

I do admit I kinda miss the old Mark. When I have nothing to watch I like to just go play his old Happy Wheels or Drunk Minecraft vids and I kinda miss how he used to be.

But to be fair, everyone changes over time, whether they mean to or not.
