So we finally got an apartment! It's actually really nice and a decent size, and not as expensive as some of the other places we looked at. It's in Richmond, and while I will miss the Berkeley/Oakland scene, I'm glad to just have something. And I'll still be working over there so I won't be completely away from it :)

Moving expenses are ridiculous, so I'm going to be completely broke for a while, unfortunately. We pretty much have to get almost everything for the apartment (I don't have much furniture), anddddd I'm just overwhelmed by all the expenses. I'll also be rather inactive for a little while as we move and settle in, starting tomorrow.

Despite being completely overwhelmed I am really happy and excited to finally have a place that's really mine. I think once the initial stress from moving subsides I'll be more relaxed. But for now I'll just have to feel like crawling into a hole and dying for a little while.
