March is a peculiar time in the Greater Toronto Area, (GTA.) FE has sometimes gotten early spring weather, sometimes late winter; sometimes there's snow to climb through, sometimes mud. Dress in layers. Also, the food situation is a bit dodgy at FE. The hotel restaurants are overpriced and overly-fancy, like most. There's a steak house across the road, (also a bit pricey), and several more kitty-corners from the hotel, (all a bit pricey.) But all the cheap places are over overpass opposite the old Double Tree Hilton. There's a Harveys, a Swiss Chalet, a Subway and of course a Tim Hortons, all in the same plaza, but it's a good 10-20 minute walk away, (depending on weather and your condition. At least the sidewalks are usually ploughed by then.) If you're staying at the overflow hotel, most food is across the street and towards the airport. Maybe I'll see you there!
