Sometimes life tosses you lemons, and they tell ya to make lemonade.....if you happen to have an eroded stomach that doesn't always work. LAME STATEMENT OF THE DAY. Sometimes life doesn't just tossorgive you lemons, sometimes life shoots them machine gun style and pelts the back of your head with it. Other times life straps you down and attempts to throw the lemon's juice in your eyes. =I
What does this have to do with you?
As many of you know, I have been having a heck of time with my health and commissions. I've been stuck in bed going on 6 weeks now. 6 fullll weeks and I mean totally stuck in bed, and many doctors appointments. Horrible pain, ER visit, more doctors etc.
We thought we had it all worked out for commissions. We got an arm so I could work from bed. Nope. Didn't work. Was out that money and still no resolution so I started trying to use my other tablet. It kindly got virus invested and took many weeks to fix. Plus the lack of the zoom function was making it not turn out well plus the stress it was putting on me was just awful.
So we went to a hospital supply store. Got a tilt table. Nicer than the other stuff, a little dangerous, but still I had to sit up and felt utterly awful so couldn't get much done. Still I worked with it a bit, and pulled my other more color accurate screen over so I could see.
A LOT of trial and error later we got another hospital bed table and hooked up ANOTHER arm to it, and with some tweaking, tablet was in a workable place where I could draw lying down. Alright, now we're talking. Aside from the fact that tablet refuses to recognize its native resolution and is a peice of junk and useless for said reasoning.
More trial and error. Trying different cords, different ports on the comp, even different OS. Slight improvement! So I go to update the driver. Your driver is custom and thus cannot update. =I =I =I stupid integrated piece of junk. So I found a way to work around it. Yay! We're on a roll again!
NOPE. Power dies and so does screen. Screen refuses to turn back on. Several adjustments. Different cords. Still not working. Must be GPU. Buy new GPU. Computer refuses to turn on. Some troubleshooting later, me and ruffy get that working. Computer proceeds to mess up its resolution again =I =I =I More hours spent fixing that. Do note this is while feeling SUPER AWFUL, so it has been a mess.
Drivers take forever to install. Okay, finally up to speed. Plug in color accurate monitor. Nothing. =I
..........WHY
So long story short I'm not sure if my screen is shot or my computer is an idiot. I lean more towards my computer is an idiot. But the point is I can't get my screen to come on and that's a problem for commissions because I can't tell what colors I'm using, so the colors could turn out relatively awful. So I've been just doing flat colors using the dropper tool. Still trying to get that fixed but just an update.
And healthwise I am doing absolutely atrocious. Just terrible. Losing weight, can't get out of bed, feel awful writhing in bed, can't sleep 'cause pain. And it hit out of nowhere. For now I am nibbling on white rice and fish (I HATE FISH) as per doctor's orders, and he gave me quite the mix of meds, mostly for pain, muscle relaxing and sedatives just to hold me over until I can get the upper endoscopy.Which is next month. All the meds are more or less geared towards dealing with ulcers. One of the hard things ismy stomach doesn't make enough hydrochloric acid to begin with and that causes it to get rather upset, but it can't have more right now because most likely it is messed up inside, and it also tends to have bile in it. Blah. I've been having a rough time. But just thought I'd update you guys.
Oh right...and the pills....$10 a pill...have to take them 4x a day......meaning the perscription for 30 days will be 1200.....................for -one- of the meds I am on.

sorry to hear that your health has been shitty still. if i had an could help more i would, but can't... i wish you the best of luck
