***_To everyone interested in My Commissions...

General
So things are FINALLY being sorted out and I'll be ready to Open Commissions soon!
(It's been too long ><)
I have a question for all those interested:
Which do YOU prefer:
1.A Price Sheet (with all the examples next to their prices)
OR
2.Using my Commissions-Info Tab? (at the top of every profile)
I think they both have their advantages, so I'm curious if anyone has suggestions/experience they'd like to share about it. ESPECIALLY the Commissions Info tab. I've never used it, but I've seen others who do and it does look rather clean and simple to use.
Thank you for your feedback!
I'll keep you all posted as things get prepared, so stay tuned! :3

FA+

but thats great pendi!
I will aaim to be your first commisoner! haha!
And awwwww, thanks Wani! :3
My announcements are always via Journal, so keep an eye out. :P
I put my prices in loads of different places to be convenient for anyone. I find that a price sheet is generally my favourite way of seeing commission info, but the info tab can give specific written details to each type of commission that a price sheet can't do as well. If you have to pick just one, go with price sheet though!
I'll likely still finish the Price Sheet first, and then get to the Commissions Tab soon afterward, at convenience.
And THANK YOU for your feedback KLIPPY!! *hugs*
I haven't heard from you in a long while; I hope all is well with you?
I was honestly really worried something happened to you before I saw you posting again D: and I'm glad to know you're ok!!
No worries! I may not be 100% yet, but I'm really getting back into gear and feeling SO much better now :3
I'll be sure to post more journals too. I've always wanted to keep in better contact with my furry friends; I guess I just always got shy and wasn't sure on what to post about XD
Thank you for the feedback, FoxWolfie!!
But yeah, I obviously see the draw behind the commission tab, especially if the price sheet is hard to read, also like mine...
The main problem with price sheets is that not all artists make theirs easy to find. I've had times where I had to go to an artist's journal page to search back through months of journals just to find a link to a price sheet. Some even require going off-site to DA, or elsewhere, to find their price sheet, but when I go there, I might have to spend 20 minutes or more going through their many gallery pages to actually find it. I've also had a couple times where I found multiple price sheets from the same artist, but with different prices listed. They obviously didn't remove an old sheet after updating their prices. Needless to say, that sends a big message that an artist doesn't want to be bothered with important things, or they just don't care - even if their price sheet looks very nice.
The format and style of a price sheet can reveal a lot. Nothing looks better than actual examples of what you might get for each price. So, why not put that price sheet image as the first entry in the commission tab, where everyone can expect to find it quickly? Then, while someone is looking on that page, they could see the additional important info that might not fit well on the actual price sheet - perhaps a list of dos and don'ts, what the artist is and isn't comfortable with drawing, commission terms, additional drawing examples for each price level, etc.
Price sheets and the commission tab are practically made for each other.
It's the worst when artists don't have any prices at all. Like, even a ballpark for pwyw would be nice D:
