I think this is a cool idea. I just hope it gets some exposure. I'll mention it in the Paw-mail tomorrow as well. My only hope, of course, is that there is gracious and awesome paw-shots.... but given that it's you, I would be shocked if there were not. XD

I also would contribute more, but I'm not gonna have any decent spending money available until at least Spring. :/ Hopefully you have enough of your watchers take an interest in this. :)

You know for a project on this scale I wouldn't be opposed to throwing a little fanservice to the */m fans even though that's really not my thing (heh, so yes I do understand :P) but I don't think the artist even goes into that area. Still there are plenty who do c: and I appreciate the good wishes! <3 Donations are appreciated as is taking the time to spread the word! We've got ten days to make this happen, I really think we can! :D

Ah, perhaps you misunderstood, if you decide to spend money then it's YOUR ideas that make it into the comic ;) as I said to someone else, think of it as an enterprise, and donating to the fund is like purchasing a share. ^^ And shareholders get votes on how it goes. Democracy in action!

If someone is fortunate enough to have a spare $500 laying about for a furry comic then I personally think the smart thing to do would be to get one thats half the size and caters specifically to this individuals tastes with no messy broth and no need for donations.

Im a huge pessimist though with a very particular set of tastes.

That's not an option, the artist is offering what he's got as a take it or leave it kind of deal. And I figure with 2500+ watchers they're bound to share my tastes. ;P I don't think a mere $.20 to ask from each of them is all that much, there's nothing you can buy with 20 cents today anyhow, plus it adds up - that's the purpose of crowdsourcing (and also why paying more gets the contributor more say in what gets published, think of it like a publically traded enterprise where majority shareholders get most of the voting power - kind of an experiment in pure capitalism/direct democracy.)


And yes, I'd noticed. :P
