Hey, I'm sorry if this is random, but I heard about this whole incident secondhand from Tea and wanted to pop over here.

Having seen the logs, and the stuff that these people were picking on you for, I can definitely say the stuff they were hassling you for is bullshit.
Your faces are anthro. While humans have some changes in face shape and features between the sexes, anthro is.. well, it's more animal than human. They're not going to have differences from male to female unless you specifically put them there and emphasize them, and 9/10 times that's just going to be a change in eye shape. For most people, their style of drawing anthro faces is going to read more male or female based on the style of the artist themselves, and yours is more rounded.
Like you said, it's pretty apparent looking at your gallery that you favor the more rounded, feminine look, and someone who's chosen to invest RL money in a commission will be aware and okay with this.

In terms of body anatomy... not really sure where they're coming from? You draw pretty lithe, androgynous bodies whether you're drawing a male OR female character, and the same's true of an ENORMOUS percentage of the internet today. Your male characters don't look feminine in terms of body type, they just don't look like they're lifting weights and popping steroids. I'd imagine if you were working on a very masculine character, you'd pump up those male traits a bit more, but in a lot of cases it's not going to be applicable and your anatomy looks perfectly appropriate.

Sorry for the rambling, but tl;dr your work looks more than fine and based on the stuff they chose to pick on I can guarantee they were just looking to hassle you with anything they could. It was pretty clear it was intentional dickishness rather than any sort of genuine attempt at critique, so to hell with them and you do your thing.

I was honestly just trying to be civil in the stream and everything and as nice as I could be to them so that it did not blow up the stream. But towards the end there I started to loose it and left for the sake of not hitting caps lock and letting it ride.

Thank you for confirming that I am improving and going in the right way it means so much coming from such a wonderful and talented person. Honestly you were way more civil to them than they deserved, which totally speaks to your professionalism in the face of... well, I don't think it can be called anything but trolling, considering. It's really admirable of you to act so civil, even when things are rough; I really hope that your week improves a little, it sucks to hear that things are going poorly right now.

And hey, everyone deserves to hear some nice things, especially when they're doing such a nice job with their art! I really liked what I saw looking through your stuff; I still can't for the life of me figure out how to do those appealing anthro faces, so I admire it a lot in other people XD Definitely keep up what you're doing (and I like the muscles, haha)!

Oh honey, don't let those people get to you. I know definitely how this feels, but always remember that those positive people, the ones that love and adore your art (including me) always outweigh the assholes who don't see the quality and love in an art piece.

You are really right though. <3 I have a lot of people who love what I make and that is just amazing. I have only been at it for just over a year now and looking back and how far things have come. I cant be sad. I am going to post that picture they were hating on and just own it. Plus the person who paid for it is excited. Cant let them down just because of some jerks.
