A New Offer to the Commission List, what do you think?

So...I am considering making a decision of an item to add to the list of commission types I offer, but I would like to get some feedback before I do.
I am possibly interested in committing (not frequently!) to doing a couple of my lineless paintings like these:

Which have thus far been put to use only for my personal enjoyment. I arranged them in chronological order (the bottom being the first) to show everyone just how much my technique has improved since I started.
Now. The issue I have is... well. They... take time, and one it is difficult to truly estimate. The Peaps one took me over twelve hours total where as the Ebony one took me I believe nine and the Jorden one like.. four or five.
That being said, for any who are interested in purchasing one of these commissions only, do you believe it would be fair to charge an hourly rate? If so, how much do you feel my time spent anal retentively perfecting these paintings is worth? Mind you, at my current sketch commission prices, I can hammer out a fully cleaned single character sketch for 15$ in less than an hour if there are no complications.
So, three questions.
1. Are you interested in buying one?
2. How much would be an acceptable hourly rate in your opinion?
3. Do you feel this is something I should attempt/are the pictures worth the cost?
