I know the first minute and a half of this song is from Fullmetal Alchemist or FMA:Brotherhood but I can't figure out which episode/song in the soundtrack it is. I literally can't put my finger on it. Any of you audiophiles or FMA buffs that can help, I would appreciate it.

I've got 2.4G of FMA music... I'll see if I can't pinpoint it for you. MIght take a few minutes.

I just skimmed under 200 music files and sound bits from FMA/FMA:B, and nothing really matched. Are you absolutely positive there is a connection?

Gah, I could swear there was.

It might be in the original FMA, but I doubt FMA:B, since that came out almost 4 years after your video was recorded. I'll look again, though I'm not sure if I'll find anything. :(

I didn't record the video. I've seen both, and I don't want much anime at all, but Fullmetal Alchemist is my favorite. The scene it's used in I can almost picture, but not quite.

I didn't mean that you actually recorded it. The video was uploaded in 2009, but actually took place in 2005.

It COULD be in the FMA: Conqueror of Shamballa OST, but I currently do not have that yet.

Thank you for the help anyway. I'll keep searching. =\

Don't lose hope! I could have very well missed it! I only skimmed each song, instead of listening to the whole thing. That would take a very long time. DX

I looked through a lot of soundtrack songs too on youtube to no avail =\

Describe the scene best you can lass. The reason is, the music myself sounds familiar, but it sounds like something that could come from anywhere. For me, it's like something I would hear in The Big O.

Honestly, the first thing that comes to my mind is in laboratory five when Ed is trying to decide whether to use the redwater/prisoners to create a philosopher's stone. I don't think it's the right scene though.
