Huricanes have finally Arrived the hawaiian islands, Big island is starting to get pelted now from what i hear. Here on maui im starting to get pelted with heavy shower and really heavy winds. So make sure you all have battend things down, Tape your windows if required, Tarp stuff outside that you dont want completely soaked or put them in storage. Make sure you have Lots of Bottled Water and a small medical bag and some longer lasting food or even a Costco emergency food kit.

Other luxuries include your Vehicle equiped with a atleast 400 Watt power inverter incase you require it for power outtage needs like medical equipment
or to Power your refrigerator, if you have an invertre for your car make sure NOT to have it plugged in thru the Car Lighter socket, Have it wired in with good thick wiring, or Use the battery clips it came with as a saftey precaution due to Car lighter plugs are usually thin wired UNLESS your car lighter port is Designated 12V accessory outlet then you may use it as proper.

Make sure your phones has all your friends and family in contact if required, and keep it on the Charger while the Hurricane is passing, Keep it close to a emergency grab bag, with your medications and important things in one place incase you have to move quickly to evacuate. Keep Batteries close by with the evac kits and med kits if they may be needed.
