... ... ... ... ugh. the polite/nice/creepy filter in me is preventing me from coming up with something TMI to ask.

What made you settle on febreeze for fursuit freshening? :3

It was actually Lysol spray! But it was my first time fursuiting, and everyone seemed to say to make sure to spray down with Febreeze afterwards. I think I overdid it - partially because the body suit is all one piece (body+wings) so there is no way to air out the arms/wings. So I applied a little bit of Lysol spray after suiting on Saturday, and on Sunday when I took it out, I couldn't air out enough to get the scent out. I will be looking into non-scented stuff! I am going to be contacting the maker of the suit to see what they recommend. They're making a suit of their own based on a similar wing design!

But all in all.. I am a newbie fursuiter, I did what several forums told me to do, and ended up overdoing it. :3 Lessons learned for next time! It actually STILL smells faintly like "Lysol Morning Rain". I need to fix that.

And um.. Don't worry about *my* polite/nice/creepy filter. But if you're uncomfortable asking, don't feel pressured. :P

Ah. You sat down next to me and for the remainder of the show I was going "hmm something smells nice, but I can't figure out what it is."

Aw :3 I went right from my room to that show, so it was probably a little more noticeable than usual! I guess it's better smelling clean than the alternative!

Oh man I'd much rather smell lysol than stale sweat smell.

There was this one suiter who stunk like hell. Like dude, maybe you should wash your suit or something and not walk around the con? I wonder if he could smell it... he must have. I can smell him 15 feet away, can't imagine what it would be like /wearing/ him.

Yeah really. If it smelled bad on the outside, it HAD to be bad on the inside. I understand that they're hard to wash, but if it smells that bad, it might be time to leave it in the room and go check out the convention out of suit. >.>

Yeah, I mean, 1300 fursuits... and only one of them stinks.

Hee. 2 and Kage both got attacked by bat-hugs prior to that, so hopefully they would understand!

When I was very young, I played a game that had a fox-bat as a side-character. I fell in love with them after that. And.. um.. It is that cute because the suit maker is absolutely awesome and highly recommended and so much love. <3 :SparkyCanDo: is totally to blame on that (hopefully I did that so it linked right).

When younger I liked Pepsi more. Now I'm more of a Coke bat. :3

YAY. Yes, ignore what I said before. The suit maker above is behind what made everything awesome. I just provided the reference. They brought the bat to life in a way I never thought possible.

If your suit could actually let you fly... where would you fly to?

IMO even in fantasy settings anthro characters would have a hard time flying. Those little wings would have to move a lot of bat! But I guess if I *could* then I guess I'd make my way overseas and visit some friends in England that I'll probably never get to visit. Yeah that's probably a lame answer. Bats flying over the ocean. Soon to be drowned bat!

Have you ever gotten sick after suiting?

Never, but this past AC was the first time! On Sunday I went for about five hours straight.. Not sick, but my roommate found me happily flopped out on my bed taking a nap. @.@

After 13 hours bus ride... got to my room, checked in on Google+ and Facebook, made my way to a bed, and slept for like 2 hours straight.

Straight through 5 other people horsing around and laughing and talking loudly and bouncing up and down on my bed.

Yep, I know this type of nap. :D

It was vey silly looking. Face down, completely sprawled out on the bed happily snoozing away. I vaguely remember my roommate coming back and saying something about a "bat-flop" before disappearing again. z.z!

Imite was and continues to be probably one of my most favorite characters I ever got to RP with. Too sweet. <3 It was a really fun time doing the lengthy RP that stretched out over a bunch of days. Sad that it ended. ;_;
