hehehe, just kidding! you're still in the early stages of development as an artist. that's not at all a bad thing. most will come with experience, but some basics are, draw what you see, draw what you love.

as for tutorials, i'd troll deviant art if i were you, but the best resources are mostly found in print, such as the how-to-draw-manga 'the basics' book is decent for price for beginners. i'd type in how to draw into amazon... ^.-.^; all the ones i have are advanced stuffs unfortunately...

*giggles* ive trolled DA and gotten all i could from em, what i have so far, is from 4 manga how-to books, several cartooning books and 2 portrait sketching books xP and i still look like this lol, ive been doodling since i was 5 o-o

*nods* yush, well, tho the saying is "practice makes perfect" there is a catch to that, practice, i find, needs to be directed. i would suggest taking an object, any object, setting it in front of you, and drawing it as you see it, doesn't matter what it is, just start at it, study it, pick it apart into it's basic shapes, cylinders, spheres, pyramids, cones, prisms etc. put those together on the page. concentrate on their placement and proportions to each other. filling it in you can do later. start with small things that only take like 2 or 3 shapes, individual objects all by themselves. and work your way up to figures.

that phrase spurred me on to keep at it for the many years i have, even if i'm dissatisfied with my work (which i am... quite...)

baby steps, it's all baby steps... *nods* pick one thing to get better at, and focus on it, then pick something else once you feel you've improved (note that i didn't say "perfected").

well i prefer to draw in INK than pencil (weird i know) whenever i hold a pencil, its like all the art in me drains out.. when i have a pen however.. its all there wanting to come out, mistakes and all.

but what inspired me the most was what my mom told me the other week, "you could be a good cartoonist.." after lookin at my doodles one afternoon.

excellent! and the saying applies to any instrument of course =p it mean... just keep on drawing! XDDD
