*cuddles you lots and holds you close*

I was cleaning my bike chain earlier, roughly the same time you were posting this, and thinking about you, and about bats. It was raining, hard. There was wind, it was cold, there was thunder, trees were swaying and there was debris being stirred in the air. It must be hard to be a bat in this world. It's tough up here on the surface, it's hard even when you're a humanoid machine like myself, waterproof, shock-resistant, fully self-regulating internal systems, and with enough physical power to throw an engine - I'm like a tank in comparison to a fuzzy little bat, with its tiny bone structure, thin delicate wings, small body, and very little to protect itself from the raw power of nature, other than just being itself and doing what it can. Then I thought about you, in our human world. All the hate, the spite, big business, open roads, deadlines, problems and consequences, and the general things that make up everyday life. It's hard, and like the little bats in the wind, you have very little to protect yourself other than being yourself and doing what you can.

Three years ago I set up a bunch of stuff in my garage so that the bats could live in there in comfort, and they've been there since.
I'll do what I can to help you too.
